Its REALLY hard to find, its in the culture section of the core rule book in the back where they're talking about how people in the pact worlds communicate with each other.

Whoa, I was starting to think this was a Mandela effect, but there you go, it's real! Good job!

Pag 430
"Personal comm units are common, inexpensive devices that are
capable of communicating with each other on a single planet
or between ships orbiting a given world. Small enough to be
carried in a pocket, they also come automatically integrated into
all armor of 1st level or higher
.
"

I believe this is either an old idea that escaped the final review before publication, or it's meant to be "can be" instead of "come", since there's nothing mentioning this in the comm unit entry.

But it's on CRB, so it's canon.

Free comm units for all!

Thank you sir

Where does it say armor includes a comm? I would just like to know where to look up to confirm for my GM.

I would rule that you just can't fall asleep, has anyone ever tried to take an 8 hour nap 4 hours after waking up? I doubt it was very successful. Since you rest 8 hours worth in 2 hours, I don't think you would be sleepy enough until at least 14 or so hours had passed to take another 2 hour nap. Which would mean your whole party could take first watch, and you take the next 4 but at least you aren't sleeping 2 hours, dungeon for 1 sleep another 2 hours repeat.

Also he is going to use scaling to keep the racial choices from being too broken, obviously a level 1 monk cant cast fireball at will, I will probably just do like 1d4 fire damage on unarmed strikes until later

Maybe I'll make a caster if this guy dies

He is allowing 3.5 classes, so arcane hierophant was something I was looking at. My first character is going to be an immolation devil champion of Irori because after 100s of years of being locked away from the blood war/war with other outsiders, the alignment components of the devils are lifted, and playing a devil paladin just sounds sweet. I'm going to take a couple monk level in master of many styles so I can grabbing style/kraken style at the same time, but I lose flurry of smites

A thought occurred to me, Paladins and rangers at level 4 have ECL of 0, their spells last x rounds or minutes per level, when a paladin casts bless at level 4 it lasts 0 minutes. I assume there must be a minimum 1 somewhere, but I don't know where it is written, can anyone cite the rule for me?

Small note, the gong requires worship of a "good god" which Irori is not unless GM rules that the absence of evil = good. Also there is a feat in 3.5 called Serenity that lets you use your wisdom instead of charisma for certain paladin abilities, if your GM allows it it could make this build even better since you could dump charisma for more wisdom/strength.

The great part of this archetype seems to have been overlooked "He does not need to meet the prerequisites of that feat" Meaning why would anyone take snake sidewind? You don't have to take the style feats in order because you ignore prerequisites. Honestly you don't even HAVE to take snake style to take snake fang, now you definitely should because to activate snake fang you need to be using snake style. You can take kraken wrack without throttle, thereby raising your damage to wis mod +4 without having to take the wis mod +2 feat, the only advantage of kraken throttle is you can keep casters from doing anything unless they have still + silent spell ready. Now for the wild slots you do have to meet prerequisites, which sucks for things like grabbing style and since a MoMS can't use flurry of blows you can't use grabbing style, BUT WAIT! I can ignore that prerequisite with one of my bonus feats then use a wild slot to take grabbing drag + grabbing master because you will note, grabbing drag/master don't require flurry of blows, just monk/brawler level.

But seriously, I'd actually play a shapeshifter. That way, I can play whatever I want, whenever I want. I can be a very fickle guy, so being able to change my race would fit. Maybe an eidolon or something.

yeah a popobala would be cool

I definitely thought of making an alchemist to perform experiments on the fog and try to fix it. But this is my friends first campaign and I think he has plans for us to figure out what the fog is story wise, and I don't want to be flinging monkey wrenches by saying "I rolled a 20 knowledge on the fog, I know everything about it" I assume the fog is mysterious for plot reasons

"Dragon Sorcerer"

Cliche.

I know, but it is cliche because it is awesome, lol

For the record the stats were rolled and I did pretty well,
16 16 16 12 12 12

Bump for later

I'm going to play a campaign my friend wrote in which the entire world has been covered in a toxic gas that transforms any living creature to a mindless mutant. The last city is a compilation of every sentient creature working together just to stay alive. Demons and angels etc have set aside differences because there is no other safe place to go so cooperation is only way. (extra planar travel mysteriously stopped working) In this world PCs can be any race, ANY. So my question is, what would you make if you could make any race/class combination. Of course my first thought went to a dragon sorcerer, or a multi-weapon fighting angel. Even non pathfinder races are fair game, he would just write something in. So I thought I would post and see what other ideas everyone had. For functionality he wants to keep PCs between tiny-large size. You won't get all of your "dragon powers" at first level, it will kind of scale as you level. Like a 1d6 15 foot cone breath weapon once per day that eventually turns into a full dragon breath.
