There is/was a local PFS group here in ABQ. It meets up at Active Imaginations. I have a work schedule that does not work well with their times. They can be found on FB as Albuquerque Pathfinder Society Organized Play.

I am looking to see if there is any PFS play in the Flagstaff area. I have not seen anything in the events, so I thought I would ask.

I am going to ask this again, does this book contain any magic items at all?

I would think it would have some added to it. I guess we will see when the books comes out.

Well this one made me look up the bastard sword in the Core Rulebook. I have not played a character that uses a bastard sword. I stick mainly with wizards and rangers when playing the game. The entry says; "A bastard sword is about 4 feet in length, making it too large to use in one hand without special training; thus, it is an exotic weapon. A character can use a bastard sword two-handed as a martial weapon." Well the way I am reading it the new samurai character I made for this weekends game is proficient with all simple and martial weapons along with the katana, naginata, and wakizashi. So I asked my GM if that means since katana is specifically named does that mean I can use it one-handed or will I need to pick up EWP: katana. My GM said since it was named in the list he was going to effectively treat it as the samurai, and the ninja also, have EWP: katana without us having to spend a feat in getting it.

As they say the GM of the game has final say over the game they are running, but like the rest I think a clarification would be nice.

never played wheel of time, any good?

I am not sure, my brother got me the Wheel of Time RPG a couple years ago. I have flipped through it, but since I have not even read any of the books... I have not played it yet. None of the game group seemed interested in it.

It was an awful lot. The line wrapped around our (pretty large) booth twice, down the aisle to the wall about 100 feet, and then around the corner down to the restrooms (another 100 feet or so). It was pretty crazy.

ANYway... yeah, as Sean mentioned above, we'll DEFINATELY be at Gen Con. We've got several books debuting there, so it'll be helpful for us to be there to show them off! :)

It will be good to see the new books. I am looking forward to Gen Con.

My GM, in the few times he has used cursed items, has always made it part of the story line. I guess it was just something he used to help the story along maybe. I know if made for some good adventures...

I am some what new to Pathfinder, I enjoy what my GM has run our group through. Reading about this new AP, I know I want to play through it. It says expected August 2010... I wonder if I will be able to pick it up at Gen Con...
