3. have you been to Renvargo before?
4. did you have a short relationship with Crissa?
No issues with some people going a bit off alignment, we all make mistakes and/or have off days, our characters are no exception.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25 Looking around sharply at the overheard words Llanofiss subtly began drawing his heavy flail. With a nod he acknowledged Johannes signal, he tried to look back at the camp with a glare of warning to any watching. Moving casually he made his way toward the doctors wagon to check on their leader. "Hoy Doctor do you have any of that thistle ointment still left?" Bluff(Trying to pass warning along to the doctor): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Quote: JMO, but I don't have a problem with long posts, particularly when we're all getting to know one another. I know the etiquette is to keep things short and I don't always have the time to read long posts (and sometimes not even short ones) but...yeah, no problem on my end. I liked reading it. Thanks, now the real question, you down for an opposed Know(Relig) roll for our little wording dispute? Is that cool DM Chubbs? I also was wondering what the etiquette is on posting order? Should I wait for everyone else to post again before I post? My only other PBP expierence is with www.ninpocho.com and they had some pretty clearly laid out rules on post lengths and posting order. (BTW if you like Naruto then ninpocho is a great play by post site, it is d20 based for the stats and combat system, has hundreds of active players who are all RPing in the same continuous world, with large events and an extensive history. I stopped playing awhile back when I injured some disks in my back but have been meaning to get back at it.)
Interested in this game a lot. Some friends and I played in a Kingmaker over a year ago, stopped part way through the second book, I am able to keep OOC knowledge OOC though if that's okay with the DM. Also we only used the kingdom building rules a little bit and we never got to delve deep into that, it looked like the best part of the campaign though and I want to get some good time in on that for sure. Rolling to see what kinda stats I can get. STR: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 6, 4) = 22(18)
I vote for #2 and concur with Dr. Mot, do you concur Doctor? I am totally up for switching to a more Ranger/Fighter (Melee for sure) Class if that's what is needed, it will not change up my character setup/Rp much at all. I could even do a Ranger with Trapfinding so we still have that skillset. Vote Now! #StayYourBeautifulSelfElf #ElvesWithGreatSwordsAreCooler #ShutYourMouthWillshaper
If someone is chuckling then I have done my job! :) I will be a mostly melee rogue if that helps. I will carry a shortbow with me for when ranged is needed, but I will be dodging ducking dipping diving and dodging up close and personal with my rapier most of the time. Fears = Monogamy, not just a dislike, but a full on Fear.
Sorry for the bad joke. I really would like to join y'all in what sounds like a good expansion to the AP. Here is what I got for my character concept so far. [No name so far]
He was born into a family of spice traders in Greengold, Kyonin. There he spent his time between helping with the family business and training as a scout for the local militia. Raised with a 'zest' for life and a benevolent disposition he was also fascinated by the revered elven mystics known as Brightness Seekers. The Seekers ancient wisdom and understanding of their past lives seemed so sacred to him that he has become determined to learn their secrets and find 'The Brightness' himself. Unfortunately all of the religious mumbo jumbo and traditional meditation that guided most Seekers to the path always eluded him. Optimistic still he is determined to find 'The Brightness', and to that end on his one hundred and eightieth birthday he left his hometown to hunt for the secrets of a Brightness Seeker, to 'hack' enlightenment. Long was his journey to Ustalav, fraught with some sorrows and pain, but still bountiful in the zest of life he grew up with. When his path crossed with Professor Lorrimar he found the various research projects the professor was working on to be uncannily close to his understanding of The Brightness Seekers arts. The occult would be his way to The Brightness! The Professor was willing to share his knowledge, but asked for the elfs aid in return. It was the hope of finding guidance on his life long path that brought the elf to the group, but it was the solid bonds of friendship that kept him there. Impressed and inspired by the dedication and compassion of the many monster hunters working for Lorrimar the elf has sworn himself to the cause. Still filled with a desire to understand The Brightness he seeks the answers wherever fate takes him and his fellow hunters. He is quite excited to be headed back to see Lorrimar after such a long absense, and for the Professor to reveal whatever new mysteries he has unlocked. Quite a lot more to the character I hope to flesh out after we really get going. Looking forward to playing with all of you. Let the dice fall as they may. |
