There are no prestige classes in Pathfinder 2 anymore, but the red mantis assassin archetype will be in the Lost Omens World Guide.

There we go, get the right quote!

Do we have a source or confirmation of this?

Here you go:

Mention of the Red Mantis assassin archetype (The High Seas blog)

Second-last paragraph - below the merfolf picture.

As Franz Lunzer said, it'll be in the Lost Omens World Guide.

Carry on!

YOU ARE A BLESSING!

First character is going through Age of Ashes now, and spent two feats to learn the sawtooth sabres, it would be nice to be able to retrain sooner rather than later (assuming the archtype gives you trained in those weapons). <3

A. Aren't you a fine looking individual OP :P

This person here .... :) Again, thank everyone for the thoughtful input. Keeping a civil conversation about this is leading to lots of brainstorming which is exactly what I was hoping for!

I know that the playtest material will be outdated in just a few short months, but it is good to get some weird mechanical bits out in the water so to speak!

I was wondering if in the playtest because the change from sign language making anything that is verbal into visual or auditory into visual, does that affect spell casting in the same sense? I would assume not but changing the spell key words to visual, concentration, and spell casting.

Thanks for your input!

i'd like to see a Wushu themed Archetype for the Swashbuckler that uses 2handed spears and polearms in a way similar to how most use 1handed slashing or piercing weapons. a graceful performance of the glaive yet a deadly combat style.

Wu-Shu is a very pretty martial art in the hands of a master, a gorgeous performance of great elegance. the archetype would focus on the style's elegance.

yes, finesse spears and polearms getting dex to hit and 1.5x dex to damage. it could also be used as a stand-in for Naginata-do and similar styles.

Lu-Bu would be pleased

agility aside, how does ANY of that say swashbuckler? that says

"agility based martial artist" its something that you want to see but does not fit in with the class by any stretch.
