I have a player with a character that has Profession Gardener. The character would like to utilize the PCs' adventuring business as a store front for a gardening business. I'm all for it, and love the idea of adding more depth to our adventurers' "down time."

The question I have is: How do I create a buy/sell/trade economy for seeds and plants? How much should seeds cost? How much downtime before her seeds become full grown plants? Should she be able to produce more seeds from the full grown plants?

All advice welcome. Good advice appreciated.

GM:

This was an absolute blast to play. Thank you so much for running for us. If you do any pbp GMing in the future, please let me know. I would love to audition a character sheet for your games.

Thanks again!

Great idea!

Got that post-Charcon drag going on around here.

Sorry to hear things got rough. Hope the storm has passed.

1st: Bomb Appetite is win. I guffawed.
2nd: I forget what Poog is trying to accomplish here and am too busy (cough* lazy *cough) to go back and read. So... Fire??

Understood. Don't beat yourself up about it.

BTW. I am running my home game group through Rise of the Runelords and every time I search the boards for ideas/answers for upcoming play sessions I see posts from GM Haladir with excellent advice. So thanks for all the info and help! haha.

Just FYI. I'm still checking the boards regularly, but have not been posting as Poog is out of this competition and all of the ideas I come up with for him to do while the stirge fight wraps up seem either silly or overly mean.

... And that's saying a LOT for Poog.

I guess just apply it to Balor the Halfling Paladin. 120618-8

How about some We Be Goblins Too?

Hahaha. What a fun ending. Thanks for GMing!

This coming weekend, I will again be out of town and in a rural area. I do not know whether I will be able to get online during that time. I will try, and if AT&T cooperates I will continue to post throughout the weekend. Otherwise, most of Friday and all of Saturday and Sunday will be a no-go for me.

Sorry for going dark everyone. I vastly overestimated my ability to get a cell signal this weekend. I'm back now, for now.

Right on. I guess the chronological order of the posts kind of threw off my immersion. I read your post and then started scanning up the board to see if I missed something.

Seriously dude, where the hell did you read about a wasp? Are you making stuff up? psychic? reading spoilers not meant for you?

Dear GM:

You rock.

Sincerely,
Waaaghinator playing Poog

P.S. FIRE!!!!!!

Will the GM recap each round in Narrative fashion before going on to the next round? That makes it so that we don't have to post in narrative order, and the GM can resolve timing intricacies via one big summary post featuring the results of all of the actions.

OK. So that was a session of pathfinder that lasted just under 12 hours. My brain feels mushy.

I'm just poking a little fun at you, because you aren't posting using the PbP standard of bold talk, blue ooc, etc.

Also, Catherine Zeta Jones Dips Beneath the Rusty Ear Biter

You a message board non-conformist, Chuffy?

With Z-Lube's patented snag-guard technology, you'll be sure your ears are safe, no matter how wide your head... no matter how rusty the barb.

I will be on the road this afternoon and evening and will be unable to post for a while. I will check on the boards when I settle into my hotel room tonight.

Conversely, I will be in a situation tomorrow (Friday) wherein I will have a lot of time on my hands, so I will likely be checking this board more than is healthy.

Saturday is a 5k and then Chuffy and I are playing with our Rise of the Runelords group in a marathon setting... so probably another light day for posting.

Not sure if I did the slug thing right, but one of my rolls was so poor I figure it doesn't matter.

Let me know if I'm hogging the spot light. I'm just kind of sitting around the house today and the wife is out, so I've got some time on my hands.

I'm a cleric kind of guy at the core of it. So, I'll take Poog if no one else has a claim.

Hey! Geoff here.

Apparently paizo went down and it ate my previous post, so if this is a repeat for some reason, I apologize.

Seeking clarification RE: the character alias requirement.

Specifically, Aymehn is currently statted out as a PFS character. Are you asking for him to be copied over to an Alias that is not a PFS character, or are you copacetic with him posting as a PFS character without seeking any PFS credit, prestige, etc.?

Thanks.

Aymehn is essentially finished at this point. Let me know if you have feedback or questions prior to the deadline. Thanks!

Right on. I had Aymehn's core ideas drawn up and registered in anticipation of using him as a PFS character. I understand he'll receive no society credit. No worries here.

Well, no use for another melee build then. I've got a caster druid that I can level up to 5 for this.

I've got a great Barbarian for this game. I'll post him up later today.

I am interested. I've never played anything older than 3.5. This sounds fun.
