Vonk can make fire come out or maybe a thing so it can shoot real fast." He admires the boomstick for a moment, daydreaming of all the wonderful explosions and fire it could cause. Not sure which longshanks archers are left, but Vonk will aim at the middle one if it is still alive. His bomb will fall one square short and explode, so the archer gets a DC 14 reflex save to halve the 4 damage.

![]() "BOOM TIME!" Vonk cackles. He runs forward and lobs a bomb between the two pillars, attempting to hit one of the longshanks, even though he is still quite far away. The bomb hits the wall between the two pillars and explodes, fire lighting up the room for a moment. bomb attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Looks like Vonk missed so assuming we are going by the scatter rules, you roll 1d8... 1 is towards Vonk, and 2-8 rotate around the target clockwise. First range increment, so it goes an additional square, but there is a wall in the way. DM, will any of the bads take splash damage? The bomb would land in the wall near the 'B' I marked on the map. If so, they would take 4 splash damage. ![]()

He certainly wouldn't admit being able to read. I figure he's been in all kinds of weird places since his tribe kicked him out, and probably picked up some common speech. He will be able to translate if needed too. And like Makena said earlier, RP wise, some of us could probably teach the others common. A thought occurs to Vonk as he waits. He remembered playing with normal-sized ants as a young gob (before he decided to set them on fire). He had been fascinated that some of the ants would leave the nest and other ants could follow their scent trail to food. After boiling several dozen in water, he'd also found they made very good burny liquid. "Makena? What if we wait for ants to eat all cows and then we have farm of ants?" ![]()

![]() House of the River Lord Vonk struggles a little as the old lady pushes him headfirst into the water, but quickly relaxes in the cool water. Some of the dirt from his grimy face washes off into the pool. The last time he'd had a bath was a few weeks ago when he crossed a river. He squirms impatiently as he waits. This easy! Didn't know water was good lucks! I think Vonk can do that no problem. He has 14 con and you can hold your breath for a number of rounds equal to twice your con score without having to make any saves. Drowning rules: If you are underwater, either because you failed a Swim check or because you are swimming underwater intentionally, you must hold your breath. You can hold your breath for a number of rounds equal to twice your Constitution score, but only if you do nothing other than take move actions or free actions. If you take a standard action or a full-round action (such as making an attack), the remainder of the duration for which you can hold your breath is reduced by 1 round. (Effectively, a character in combat can hold his breath only half as long as normal.) After that period of time, you must make a DC 10 Constitution check every round to continue holding your breath. Each round, the DC for that check increases by 1. If you fail the Constitution check, you begin to drown. The DC for the Swim check depends on the water, as given on the table below. ![]()
