Half-orc Slayer 6
Volidrian gives a toothy grin in response to the praise, "I would not have been able to make those shots Tybalt, had it not been for your encouragement during the battle."
Half-orc Slayer 6
Volidrian takes a 5 foot step forward to get within 30' and continues shooting arrows at the same target
Attack 2: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24

"I fail to see a compelling reason to risk bodily harm to retrieve the rope. However, I believe that I will be able to sever the rope with a broadhead which will allow us to retrieve the majority."
Half-orc Slayer 6
"I have counted out the amount of gold pieces that I will believe shall be sufficient for the purchase of the requisite number of horses. It would be wise for another member of our group to effect the actual exchange however, as I myself have not had the pleasure of extensive experience with horses and thus would not have the ability to select good mounts for a reasonable price."
Half-orc Slayer 6
Volidrian pulls out some heavy looking bags from his pack, "I have yet to make use of the funds which were divvied up not so long ago. Seeing as how it is through my connection to this group that I have acquired this coinage, I see no reason not to spend them for the common good."
Half-orc Slayer 6
Volidrian will take another 5 foot step back diagonally and continue to put arrows into the same Wereboar.

"What about the captain? While his behavior of staying sequestered in his cabin may not be unusual for him it would also not be difficult for an imposter to mimic. Furthermore, such an isolated position would make an easier target, like how the late Professor was attacked at night."
Half-orc Slayer 6
Volidrian moves into the position opposite Leandro weaving to avoid the enemy attacks as he moves into position.
Half-orc Slayer 6
"I'm afraid we may have to settle for not solving the problem, we simply don't have enough information to make a positive identification of the assailant and without such we cannot move forward. Even I am not sure of the guilt of the professor, his reluctance in divulging information maybe a result of his recalcitrant demeanor rather than a mens rea."
Half-orc Slayer 6
"Instead of standing watch around the brig may I suggest that we patrol the ship in general during the night?" Volidrian asks hesitantly, "My concern would be that if we are wrong and devote our resources to watching the brig then we would have only eliminated two people. I think if the professor is the murderer up he would likely not attack if locked up as that would immediately identify himself."
Half-orc Slayer 6
What did you do to the dice roller to make it hate you so? Volidrian will go back to trying to stay hidden, though not in a way that makes it obvious that he is sneaking. And try to look for anything out of the ordinary and listen in to conversations.
Half-orc Slayer 6
Volidrian's brow is furrowed and he is staring at the aftcastle as if his eyes could drill through it.
Half-orc Slayer 6
Volidrian has been trying to stay unnoticed as much as possible, trying to observe without being observed.
Half-orc Slayer 6
"I fail to foresee an instance in which we would not defend the ship if under attack regardless of any special deal made with the captain, we would probably fair the worst should the boat be destroyed. I'm glad we shall not be expected to help sail the ship. While is not my first time on a boat I have no experience actually sailing one."
