Is there anywhere that still has any running games via forum or other play-by-post method? I used to play here and on BGG a long time ago and was hoping to get back into it, but it seems the old haunts are all ghost towns.

I would like to cancel my subscription of the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game. Thanks!

I have three charges from Paizo over the last two months.
11/04/2016 -20.34
10/06/2016 -83.47
10/08/2015 -20.34

I think the 10/8 charge is erroneous: 11/4 is Deck 2 and 11/6 is the Base Add-On in the PACG Adventure Path Subscription. I don't have any other subs to the 10/8 charge makes no sense. Can someone look into this and see if I'm simply forgetting a purchase, or of the charge is in fact erroneous?

I feel like this should be straight forward, but infant-induced sleep deprivation is causing some issues in the ole noggin.

When you defeat a monster, you may move or put the bottom card of your deck on top of your deck, then end your turn.

If you defeat a Henchman, can you use your ability and close the location, or does the timing forfeit the closing opportunity if you do in fact move.

Dust off those copies of Rise of the Runelords, Season of the Runelords will be here Soon.

As Similar discussion was touched upon in another thread, but its something I think could really use a definitive answer.

Can we play by forum? And if so, what would Paizo want that to look like?

Can card text be posted to the forum?
Zeroth_Hour was under the impression that the Paizo forums had crawling turned off, but they definitely don't, so any PACG card text posted is just a google search away.

I'm eager to help expand this potential facet of PACG, but I would only want to do so within the boundaries set by the people at Paizo, so I hope someone can chime in.

With regards to the Power: When you would discard a weapon (■ or armor) for its power, you may recharge it instead.

I'm annoyed how useless that power is for something that appears on your base character card. Alone, it would only work with two AD6 class deck cards. Otherwise, I believe you'd be able to use it with another power on her Blacksmith role card ("■ When you would bury...") to recharge instead of burying an armor.

Either way, the earliest you'd get to utilize that feat consistently would be in AD4. Sure you could maybe use it with Armors from Location Decks in-game, but you can't keep those cards so the feat is extremely situational for a base power feat.

I seem to recall the last (few) scenarios getting bumped from their original release dates. How did that effect the release of the PDF copy of SotR 1-6? Is there a release date for this?

While poking around on the site (saw a subscription order was shipped without the items in my side cart) I clicked the Ship Items Now button on the side-carted items by accident. The items no longer appear in the side-cart (actually the side-cart itself no longer appears) under My Account. I'm not concerned with the items having not shipped (always Sept.) but I just wanted to make sure I didn't knock the items into Paizo purgatory or what have you. Order #3689448, for reference.

I tried emailing last week, but as of yet I've received no response.

Thanks!

With the feat selected, can one discard more than one card for more than one evade? Say for instance, Arboreal Blight is encountered: Can Adowyn discard a card for each summoned Fiendish Tree, or just for one?

I purchased HERALD’S CHOSEN in hopes of adding more value to my base set/adventure deck collection. I had previously reviewed the Season of the Shackles guide and was surprised to find the tier system in the Righteous guide.

Because the rewards are now distributed between the Guild Adventures and the Guild Guide, I wanted to make sure I understood how they are doled out. I plan to ignore the early advancement aspect of increasing your tier, for what its worth.

Rewards (Guild Adventure Reward)[Guild Guide Reward]:

1-1A: Cloven Trail (Random weapon, spell, or item) [Skill Feat]

1-1B: Instant Inquisition (Access to Scale of Disguise) [Power Feat]

1-1C: Get to Fort Clearwater (Random armor or ally) [You get nothing! You lose! Good day, sir]

1-1D: Crusaders Assemble! (Boon from Pile) [Card Feat]

1-1E: Ladies Who Lunch... with Demons (Access to Sacred Prism) [Nothing]

1-1: Herald's Chosen (Skill Feat) [Die Bump, Tier 2]

So I'd have 2 Skill Feats, a Power and Card Feat, and some other stuff by the end of 1-1, correct?

Is there a list of possible card traits anywhere?

When a character at your location attempts a combat check, if he plays an ally that has the Animal trait or does not play cards that have the Attack trait or weapons, discard this card to add 1d4 and the Magic trait to that check.

I skipped S&S and I feel like I'm out of practice with my rules parsing. I also feel like I'm overthinking the word "or."

Can I play a weapon and an animal ally on a check and use this card?

Thanks in advance.

Since I'm not a subscriber and I didn't pre-order from a vendor who ignores street dates I've been reading the Rulebook to partially get my Wrath fix.

On pg. 24 the card Portable Alter says "Display this card. While displayed, add 1 to your divine checks. You may discard this card to add 1d6 to your Divine checks, or to recharge a Basic blessing instead of discarding it. At the end of the turn, discard this card."

Is that plural 1d6/Divine checks a misprint, or am I just not seeing the nuance of this card.

Why wouldn't you just immediately discard/recharge to activate the 1d6 bump over the +1?

Will there be any panels or representation at PAX East this year from Paizo?

Playing Black Tower. Darago plays Toxic Cloud, then Olenjack draws a Harpy Monk on his explore. Everyone fails the wisdom check except Olenjack, who subsequently fails the combat check. Olenjack buries armor to deal with that.

Now, he explores again via blessing and draws Zombie Horde.

Does everyone besides Olenjack forgo the use of weapons/spells per the Harpy Monk, or was her power only related to her check? It didnt say this check, or until the end of the turn.

Lets say everyone can use weapons/spells: everyone still loses their combat check against the Zombie Minion due to Toxic Cloud, right? But to what extent? Can I still attempt combat checks and minimize damage (i.e. The Minion just remains undefeated due to immunity) or does the immunity to poison prevent any check against it because it'll always include the Toxic Clouds trait, and thus everyone takes 5 combat damage?

Not sure how to proceed.

Backstory:
I'm planning on a 4-5 character replay of RotR. I already ran Sajan, Lem and Ranzak through Perils without any issue. In the past, I've never had issue with this trio of scenarios, though I'm aware the opinion is these are some of the hardest scenarios.

* * *

So I've been playing Darago and Olenjack through Perils and it has been awful: Two fails for the first two scenarios, and a fail and a death (poor Darago is someone else's 1d4 in-hand).

Olenjack is a bit different from what I'm used to, but I'm enjoying playing him. The use of Allies for everything is a double edged sword (lots of +X to dice rolls, but apprehension using them for explores), but playing a less offensive character is a nice change. Dealing with his limited explores will be interesting in the larger group games starting in AP1, however.

Darago on the other hand has been a bit of a weak link. His d10-based Arcane recharges seem to fail more often than not so a number of his spells end up being one-offs. I started out with roughly the following: 2x Slings, 3x Attack spells, Arcane Armor, Phantasimal, Leather Armor, Wooden Shield, Codex, Caltrops, Fox, and 2x BotGs. I'm aware he's light on explores and heavy on Armor so a tweak is in order (good thing he's dead?)

Any thoughts on playing these two? I played Ezren, Lini and Harsk through all APs (died in AP6:5...) and I didn't seem to struggle finding play-styles for them that I liked/that worked.

Summoning and Adding Cards

In every other situation it seems plain that a summoned card goes back in the box at the conclusion of the encounter, however I'm wondering if the "unless you’re instructed otherwise" text is relevant when Darago's card-in-hand power is concerned. Or does the ceasing to exist part always win.
