Male Ulfen(shifter) Barbarian 2
Vik accepts the gift from the halfling woman. Coming from a tribal culture himself he understands the importance of the gift. As he grabs the liver "I will honor this creature for it's sacrifice will lead to the survival of our new tribe. May it's spirit rest in ease in that knowledge." When he is done speaking he lifts it high and bows his head offering one more silent prayer and proceeds to take a large bite and continues till it is fully consumed, after that his face covered in blood he gives a mighty roar into the sky. After that he has a huge grin on his face and walks over to 'Twig' "Try it lad, maybe it will help put some meat on yer bones." as he walks to Symington he gives a great big slap on the back. "Come now, we must celebrate the little one's son looked to get his first kill in this event, in my tribe he would be a man now, we have much to be grateful now." with that he finds the halfling matriarch's son and hoists him up over his shoulder in celebration.

Symington, Yes I know I rolled a d12 according to Wrath it is a Coup de Grace, which is an automatic critical hit with a great axe the crit multiplier is x3 hence 3 damage rolls. I appreciate the concern, and asked Wrath earlier about, sorry if I was not clear. On that note, Wrath if I need to roll an attack roll please let me know.

Seeing Milhar's reaction to the task of slaughtering the beasts, Vik bows his head as he thinks to himself, "The little one has such passion in the defense of others, but has yet to learn that sometimes violence is necessary."
Wrath, for the anklyosaurus, do I need to roll a to hit roll, or is it also a coup de grace. To make this a clean kill I might do my battle combo just to make this smoother.
Male Ulfen(shifter) Barbarian 2
Hearing both ideas, Vik offers his point of view. "I remember when I was growing up, my tribe used similar methods, for the preservation of meats. The end result was usually tough and salty, but spoiled food rarely occurred. Though it may take time, I remember seeing the meat cut into strips, salt was rubbed on, and then put out to dry in the sun." mmm jerky. now you are making me hungry, now I wish it was deer season here. I hunt, skin and dress, then butcher myself. Gotta love living in the country here in the states. mmmm deer jerky that could hit the spot.

Looking at the creatures and everyone's actions Vik takes a second to glance at where everyone is heading
Vik's eyes catch a potential problem with the middle of the pack. But to make sure not to really spook the animals he goes with a slow pace, sort of stalking the animals in a herding motion. When he gets to the middle area, he feels the spirit of his tribes animal flow through him. slowly stalking trying to keep the animals going where he wants them to go. At some points he has even dropped into a low crouch, almost padding on all fours around the large beasts. Some might even notice a low growl coming from Vik's throat. hope I don't scare them to much, Wrath with the +4 circumstance and my skill ranks come out to the +10. Please don't let there be any adverse effects

Vik looks at Milhar and notices the slight smile. Remember Milhar, not all blades have to kill, and many have dual purposes. You could always use it in the galley. HaHa. Cheer up my friend we did good today, and if you must mourn, mourn only for the child we were to late for. The fighters of the village died in a way they were proud of. To die in battle is a great honor for warriors. We must celebrate in the honor of killing of such a foul beast.
Male Ulfen(shifter) Barbarian 2
"Milhar you may take that blade. Maybe some good can come out of that blade after its vile use, and it is suited to you." "I think we should let the village grieve for the fallen, and experience the joy of having the little ones returned." When the group is ready to leave "Skilhar, we shall head to the great sea bird and wait for the meeting with the juju man when he is ready. The brave ones that have fallen must be put to rest correctly and given the honor they deserve. I shall not disturb that. Lead on my friend."
Male Ulfen(shifter) Barbarian 2
After the children have left Vik drops to his knees a little winded from the fight. Vik looks to Algret with a little concern for he saw the hits she had taken and was amazed to see her still standing as he thinks to himself "We northerners are a strong bunch no matter what breed". Vik keeps an eye out while the others search the area.
Male Ulfen(shifter) Barbarian 2

"Its not time for your great journey yet elf" Vik comments towards Bo when she comes to. He turns to Algret and gives a smirk and an appreciative nod, for her actions, as he draws in a breath that is slightly labored. When he hears his name come from Milhar, he says "I will help, but we must be quick, I don't want to lose this things trail, for it is well past the bugbear's time to go on his journey of eternal sleep." Vik will help Milhar search the bodies. Just tell me what I need to roll if anything to continue the search for the bugbear, ok guys

"Milhar and Bo-dan speak with wisdom. We should carry on while I still can follow the trail, but we about an hour and a half before the storm rolls on. If we can't find their village by then, then we must find some sort of shelter and hope the tracks don't get washed away. Yes, do not go for weapons, or make to sudden movements unless a strong need to do so, but keep weapons close since we do not know what else is out here besides the "greys". We shall move on, if one of us spotted them then they seek to learn more about us. Since that one did not stay visible they could just be trying to get a hold of our temperament, and intentions if they witnessed what happened on the beach the other day. But enough talking, let us continue before the tracks get to cold." survival rolls 1d20+6 (x3) = 12, 25, 17

Current Day
Edited Ninja'd by the DM, back on regular posting schedule now guys. Wrath lets retcon this before Vik volunteers to try to lead the party in the jungle. :)
Male Ulfen(shifter) Barbarian 2
Huh? What kind of watch do we have going on? Lets try to keep as far from the trees as possible right now. In the morning I suggest that at least one of us head back to the ship and ask the captain about the locals, I would like to know if they are hostile or not. Lets see if we can keep the fire going through the night, just to make sure we are not suprised.

Spoilered for length
Spoiler: Vik seeing the children throughout the evening from the corner of his eyes, subtlety shakes his head. He outwardly makes no notice of them. But later when he is alone, he does a slight chuckle and remembers the days as a child when he did the same around his father. When Vik grabs his food he walks over, and sits next to Algret. When he sees the little ones resting around the dwarf he speaks They cling to you like pups, perhaps we should call you den mother. As he looks around the camp and notices all the families, Algret and the two children, and the two half-elves, in particular, he feels a little tug on his heart. He thinks to himself, all these people have ones to care for, protect, to share the events of their lives together. He starts to wonder about his brothers and if they are alive somewhere out there. He then thinks what else waits for him, in a sense of family, these short, yet long years he longs for a family that has so far been out of reach. He quickly shakes the thoughts out of his head, and gets rid of the blank stare, as he reminds himself to pay attention and be alert.
Male Ulfen(shifter) Barbarian 2
After feeling the healing energies from Algret, Vik starts to stir. When he comes to, he remembers what happened and turns to look at the two ambushers, the leader with the wicked sword, and the poor sap that had his hand removed. He looks to Algret and asks in ulfen Can you stem the flow from that one as he points to the one handed man. I’ll grab the other one and take him to see the cap’n He then stands up and walks over to the leader, picks up the sword, examines it and places it through his belt. He looks to the man and says I bested you in battle now your life is mine to do with, now get up, we going to see the cap’n about this intimidate 12 Whether the leader wants to or not Vik forces the man to walk to the captain. When they get to Venn, Vik says Now, I know you wanted to speak to me about something cap’n, but I think dealing with these pieces of filth is a little more important at the moment. As Vik says this he forces Durgol to his knees, and gives a vicious sneer
Male Ulfen(shifter) Barbarian 2
In a fit of rage Vik lines up another shot, just as the dart zips past him. Stunned, he looks back at the attacker on ground and unarmed Vik comes to. end rage, end shift He looks at the man, and whispers in Ulfen There's no honor in killing you He turns around heading back to Algret and the captain, he takes a few steps and drops to his knees, laboring to breathe. He looks up at the dwarf and passes out from exhaustion fatigued status for four rounds I survived woot! that was getting a little harry there. In case I forget or am passed out to long what type of sword was that long, short etc?

*When it gets to my turn*
Snarling with rage, Vik takes a swing at the leader and delivers a mighty blow to hit 1d20+6=22 damage 1d12+7=19 Wrath
Spoiler: [ooc]Well not a crit but nice none the less, Wrath your luck has given my dice the courage to roll great. Oh and yeah my characters usually turn out to be the meat shields but have a habit of staying alive at critical junctures. Looks like your streak keeps going on to :)
Male Ulfen(shifter) Barbarian 2
Listening to the captain's words and noticing the group behind them Vik just shakes his head. What is this about? Fine, I will do as you wish, just make sure the defenses are in place. Vik stands up fully stretching out, making his large form look even larger, and heads back to the ship.
Male Ulfen(shifter) Barbarian 2
Diplomacy 5
Looks like Vik will try to chop the trees down himself.
Male Ulfen(shifter) Barbarian 2
I thought of that too, when you first mentioned it but when I rolled intiatly I got 1d20+5=10 If you want a new roll let me know. Also, if I can follow it I will just to the jungle line, so as to know what areas to avoid entering right away. Staring at the jungle line, Vik brings up a point of cutting a few trees down to provide wood for small walls, firewood, and small shelters, to the most knowledgeable prople in the party.
Male Ulfen(shifter) Barbarian 2
Vik takes his small handaxe out and cuts deep into one of the beasts. He takes small chunk of meat, sniffs it, takes a small bite to see if it is edible. Upon noticing the totem, and hearing Algrets comment of it being a warning, he looks around cautiosly. "I agree with Algret this beach is our territory, and defensable because of open space, and view. We must build some sort of defensive block around the perimiter of landing area. But we must be quick" If meat is edible
Spoiler: "I will fetch the beasts for cooking. The meat is not bad, and if offers some immeadiate and much needed food. Then let us be quick about defenses"
