Looking harassed and slightly ill, Verio moves out from the back of the Inn, taking a seat at the table and sighing slightly. "Feorina I believe that it is the morrow you are to visit the mine, as in tomorrow. Accents can be hard to work through at times!" Verio sighed and lent forward, grabbing a pitcher of water off the middle of the table and quaffing it in one long swallow. Gasping slightly he set the pitcher down on the table and yawned softly. "Forgive my absence friends. I was quite unwell. A stomach bug only, I am sure!"

Verio walked casually to the table and scooped up a gem, holding it up to the light and squinting slightly. Appraise1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16 Frowning a little he tossed the gem in to the air and bounced it off his wrist before making it disappear with a flourish. Sleight of Hand1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16 "Good. I will keep this gem to study. If it is needed for inventory or the like, simply ask me for it and I will return it!" He nodded softly before leaning on the table and calling up a large map. He tapped his lip softly in thought before turning to Girianar. "The silver and the iron, can you mark them on this map for us? The iron will be the most useful for now but the silver is something we need to jump on straight away." He nodded and turned to Resnit. "Gems, ruins and apples if you please. We can see about maybe converting and rebuilding the ruins in to strong points. Also, I do not know about the rest of you but I need a stiff drink and those apples sound like a mighty fine base for some cider!" He grinned, turning towards the rest of the group. "We are making ground here now. We need to keep this up!"

Use your own dice. Most of us have probably been GM's before and know that in any roll done by a GM there is always a weebly variable, where by there is always a number you add for a reason other than what a player would see.~ Outside of Boss Battles I love adding +1 Damage to my Skulls party because I never f#$!ing hit them anyway...

Aaah so I have been searching and just can not find the map. Someone who can find the map please designate the grid and the hexes? I will keep looking till I find it. 1 Foundry and 1 Trade Shop for Feorina to be built, along with free house. 20 Psiforged armed with Greataxes and Breastplates.
Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir
Verio watches Bastion nod to Feorinas explanation before replying. "I fear that until we have more resources at our disposal, the creation of such buildings is slightly beyond us. The creation of the Foundry should see us closer to building them though. I apologize but we may have to wait for the moment Feorina!"
Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir
Verio frowned in thought before answering. "Taking the Rangers, along with the fact that the Stonescales are to be accompanying Resnit and Usul leaves us slightly undermanned. You may take the Rangers but I put forward a motion to train another group of warriors in its stead. Bastion and I have spoken earlier and he is of the opinion, as am I, that it would be prudent to create a unit of Warforged warriors who are more heavily armored than those we currently have, a unit of Heavies, if you will. They would be outfitted much like Bastion himself and would act as a small defensive unit used to... Well I am not sure but when he said it it seemed like a good thing!" Verio looks down at the paper before him for a moment before looking back up. "So this is the plan I propose for this month. We will create this unit of Heavies, build a foundry and two houses with work areas for those who need them, build two quarries and a road connecting them to the foundry and expand our area of influence around Haven. Does this seem acceptable?"
Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir
Verio thinks for a moment before speaking. "Feorina and Avelloran, Fabricator, Bastion, Girianar and Usul, Resnit and Thutmose!" So the layout of the Council is- Verio Feorina + Avelloran Fabricator Bastion + Girianar + Usul Resnit and Thutmose Resnit should return before the next Council meeting, just so we can be fully informed of the next stage in our expansion. I think we should either build a Mill or a Foundry with roads attached to our mines, if that is possible.
Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir
The problem with that explanation is the fact that the blue rock could be worth 100Gp. It all depends on the availability and usefulness of the item that is being priced. And so far I do not see us having any way to build a stable economy, due to the fact that we have no idea what resources we have access too. We are kind of in a state of Barter over Coinage, till the door opens again in a years time or we find another civ, one that uses coinage. Just my view...

After the Conversation: Verio clears his throat and stands up, before moving to the head of the group.
"Thank you Resnit, thank you all. So before you head off on your exploration Resnit, I would ask that you help me plan the trip. If I am to be the ruler, after Klokk has left, I would like to know how things such as this are planned!" My first Edict. Awesome! :D
Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir
Verio sits silently, taking notes pertaining to everything. He has written continuously in a short, clear hand, everything that is being said by Klokk and Fabricator both. He nodded softly, noting the dangers of Khyber shards, before starting a new sheet, this time a sheet that includes the full tally of resources available to them at this point in time. When that is done he lightly dusted the sheet with sand before sliding it in to a pile, along with everything else that he had written since the meeting started.
Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir
Verio clears his throat to interject. "I was going to ask whether an item could be forged that would allow Resnit to use the spells..." He turned to his pile of notes and rifled through them for a moment before extracting a sheet and nodding. "Yes. The spells Sending and Message?" He read the sheet over again before nodding, happy he had named the correct spells. "It would be just the thing for long distance communication!" Verio nodded before turning to Klokk. "I have to actually apologize to you Klokk. I did mention bringing Martin here, but earlier, when we were still on Golarion!"
Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir
Verio arched an eyebrow and frowned softly. "I never actually mentioned it, just thought it. And I assume, what you were going to say, was that you yourself are a smith. But to be fair... I assumed you would be spending most of your time away from here. Also if you were going to suggest that the Warforged also are smiths well... That is all well and good but I assumed we were also going to start growing a living town here too. If I assumed wrong, that is my fault. I apologize!"[/] He nodded softly, ordering another bottle of wine. [b]"I do have a question though... We are to explore and meet new races, if we come across them, new civilizations, what then do you want us to do?"
Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir
Handing the earring to Usul, Verio sits back to listen to the Dwarf, nodding once to Feorina before he does. The entrance of Klokk causes all attention to be shifted to the Dwarf as they all sit anxiously, waiting for any information on the next step, or why they are here.
Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir
Verio laughed softly and shook his head. "I am expressing myself wrong. I know you will not have a plan as to how you will approach people, that is not how things work. Every situation is unique after all. What I meant was, I would like to know what you think would be fair to offer these civilizations, in the way of materials and access to lands and the like, and what would be asking too much of us. I have never dealt with any group larger than ten or so before so... I do not know the intricacies for keeping a rival nation happy!" My priorities...? Well I would like access to minerals that we do not have access to, at the moment. I would also like to set up the outpost as a hub for trade, if we can manage it. Begin to build it in to a small town if we can. Also... Of our allies, maybe require a certain number of their warriors, to aid in defending the Force River!"
Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir
"Best I do not have another glass then or I won't be able to focus on my notes!" He smiled taking another sip of wine, before returning to the stack of papers. He rifled through the stack for a moment longer, making sure everything was in place, before dividing them up in to three neat piles. The first pile was for himself and contained his own observations and notes. This pile went in a folder and in to his backpack. The second pile was a set of plans and suggestions, these went in to scroll cases, which he then set to the side. The third pile, the smallest of the three, was a collection of letters and communications. These he bound in string and slipped in to their own small satchel, before hanging it from the back of the chair. He would deal with that one later. Taking another sip of wine, he turned to Feorina once again and cleared his throat politely. "Forgive me for interrupting again m'Lady. I just would like to tell you that, once I have settled in a little here, I would love to set some time aside to speak with you. I would like to discuss how we should be handling other civilizations we meet, if we meet any. I would like you to tell me your plan so I can note it down and have it on record. That way we can start building a set of guidelines for the next Council!"
Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir
Verio had sat across the table from the empty seat and began to busy himself with going through the map of the surrounding area thoroughly. He had spent the last four hours doing this, making detailed notes about the lay out of the mountains, the position of farms and any other general information he could glean from the map. The papers detailing the map, and possible plans for an irrigation system running further inland, lay by his right elbow. "I will have to talk to Fabricator about the irrigation system, see if we have the ability. If we could get a reliable flow to the mines we could maybe use it to power more machinery, grow the operation to a bigger scale. More metal the better after all. Speaking of..." Taking a blank sheet of paper from a stack, Verio dipped the pen he held in to the jar of ink, before making a note reminding himself to have the human blacksmith he had used before coming here brought through on the next run, along with an armorer if he could get his hand on one. Putting the sheet of paper to the side, he looked up surprised to see others at the table. The chair directly across from his remained empty but most of the others had been filled. He took a quick look around, before standing and moving to the back of the room. He grabbed a couple of bottles of wine, from whoever was in charge, before moving back to the table with enough goblets for all. He silently handed out the goblets and spaced the bottles around the table before returning to his seat. Pulling his kukri from his belt, he popped the cork on the wine before himself and poured a glass, before saluting the group silently with the goblet. 'Here we all sit. I wonder wh...' Verio stared in mute shock as Fireflies began to swarm, filling the sky with a twinkling radiance. He sat back, staring in wonder, a smile curling his lips. "Well isn't that something..."

Perception during travel-1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 The passage through the doorway was made all the more chaotic, in Verio's opinion, by the several languages being spoken by their leader, of which Verio could speak all three. As they traveled Verio made sure to keep an eye on his companions, making sure to keep everyone in vies, not wanting to fail on his first task as Heir. The images and scenes that had transpired around them were freshly seared in to his mind as they broke the water once more and took their first breath of their new home. As he stumbled out on to the beautiful fresh green grass, he took a deep shuddering breath, staring around confused. 'Gorums balls that was unpleasant!' He shuddered slightly and sighed before straightening, casually running a hand over his knives in a nervous manner.'Praise the Gods we are through and praise Pharasma for averting her gaze as we walked!' He glanced after Klokk as their eccentric leader disappeared out to sea. He sighed softly and smiled. 'Dragon. Owl. Dwarf... Many bodies, one soul. All of the bodies madder than the last though!' Turning with a shake of the head, he took in the group of waiting people near by and moved towards them. He stopped before the group and bowed slightly before greeting them. "Lady Feorina, Master Fabricator, Master Resnit and Master Bastion. It is a pleasure to meet you at last. I am Verio al'Morin. I am to be Klokk's voice and the figurehead of this here venture, whilst Klokk is not around. I will need to speak to you all, so as to get a better feel for this place but for now... Master Resnit is right. Someone should address the gathered group. Lady Feorina, if you would be so kind as to translate to Draconic as I speak, it will save much time!" He smiled at the group before turning to face the gathering. Bluff Bluff Bluff your confidence-1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23 Exuding an aura of confidence, Verio clears his throat softly before speaking. "Some of you know me already, most of you do not. My name is Verio al'Morin and I am to be the voice of our leader when he is not present. Though I am, in a strictly technical sense, the second in command of this little venture, I am just like you. I was picked by Klokk for my talents and my personality as were you all. I know I do not look like much, I am but a weak, soft, un-metallic, scaleless human being, but I do have one thing!" He smiled, glancing over his shoulder at the other Council members, including those who travelled there with him. "I have a group of advisors, strong willed, strong of arm and incredibly intelligent and resourceful. You need not take my word for it, nor theirs. You can take the word of our Dwarven Leader. We would not be standing before you today, if we were not the best people for the jobs we have been assigned to!" He began to pace slightly, right hand resting on a Kukri hilt, the other on his hip. "We are here to lead you during this new adventure. We are here to help you carve out something beautiful, something wonderful. We are here to make this place what it was meant to be, a haven for all of us. Somewhere where we can be free from persecution," at this, he saluted the Lizardmen before him, "Somewhere where we can be whoever we like, where we are free to choose!" he bowed to the Warforged before continuing. "We are here to lead you and keep you safe, to the best of our abilities. Sure we can not all turn in to clockwork birds but we do a pretty damn good job otherwise!" He grinned, stopping his pacing and standing to attention before the gathered creatures. "This is the beginning of a brand new journey, the start of something beautiful. And it would not be possible without you all. And for that, I salute you!"[/i] Snapping his heels together, Verio saluted sharply.[b]"Dismissed!" Waiting till the Warforged and Lizardmen saluted and began to break off, heading to their respective leaders, Verio could not help but feel the stirrings of something new and interesting within him. Pride felt strange to a soul that had not felt her warm embrace ever before! Sorry about the quality. It is 6am and I am exhausted!

Verio drops back and pats Girianar on the shoulder, smiling faintly. "Do not worry, it will not be for the last time. You will see this world again. I know that is not what I just said but..." He shrugs and grins. "Ignore me. I am just as worried as you are. I have not stopped praying since we left the tavern. It will all be fine though, as long as we keep our heads around us!"
Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir
Verio glanced back at young Archer and grinned, shrugging slightly. "If I had to guess I would say we are finally going to be meeting the rest of our group. You are fully packed aren't you lad? We are leaving Golarion for a long time now. We may not be back, some of us, ever again!" He looked at the other men gathered with him, making sure each of them understood the meaning of his words, translating them in to Draconic so as every one of their companions would understand. "This is not a one way trip but we are traveling to an unknown world. Best make your peace with the gods while they can hear us and get a last smell of that sweet air because where we are going, we are the Outsiders!" He grinned, brushing his palm reassuringly over the hilts of the Kukri. "This is one hell of an adventure we are to begin!" Girianar your speed should be 30ft right? Or am I missing something?
Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir
Verio stood, idly thumbing through the papers he held one last time before sliding them in to the horn tube and returning them to his pack. He busied himself with his preparations, moving the chest and its gold to somewhere it can be easily transported, tightening the straps of his knife bandoleers across his chest and checking the more hidden blades surreptitiously as he made as if he was straightening his clothes. 'A gentleman has to keep some secrets after all...' He smiled as he tested the string of his crossbow before returning it to his hip. Martin the Blacksmith had delivered his order well on time and Verio was much pleased. He had expected the work to be good but... The craftsmanship of the Kukri in particular was as close to flawless as one could get, without magic. He wore them now as a pair on his right hip, their sheaths lacquered red, a black compass burned in to the lacquer, upon his direction. 'Here is hoping it works to draw me back here some day. Sothis and I have some unfinished business as of yet!' He ran his fingers over the mark on the sheath and swore to return. "LETS MOVE OUT!" He called to the Lizardmen in their native language, before turning to find their Chief. "Honorable Usul, walk with me? Let us find our compatriots yes?"
When the Magister had answered Klokks questions Verio inclined his head slightly to the man and took a step forward, circling him slowly, taking in every inch of the person before him making some minor mental notes. "Forgive my being so forward but... As I am being handed the reigns of this little expedition I feel I need to know my people as well as I can. I have a few questions for you, if I may?" He waits for Avelloran's assent before continuing. "When you say you are old, Master Elf, how old do you mean? Are you saying that you are not long for this mortal coil and will be shuffled off soon? I realize that that is quite a tactless way to put it, and I apologize but us short lived races, we are impetuous after all!" Verio smiled, shrugging slightly. "I only ask because if, gods forbid you do perish, I would like to have a plan in place for what you wish done with your remains. As such I will be asking all of our companions the very same question, not just you Master Magician!" Verio turns his back on the man and stares out of a nearby window, frowning softly. "Haven is our way of expanding the borders of our small realities in to something much larger and much more varied. We are in need of a strong Mage to guide us and, with Klokks assent, I believe it could be you Avelloran. I just have one more question myself, one more little thing I have to know, why Haven? Why do you wish to leave this world? Are you running from or searching for something?" He turned back to the man, smiling, leaning back against the windowsill. Diplomacy to see how Verio comes across-1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
"He will be a good addition to Haven I think!" Verio nodded softly drawing an apple from his pocket and taking a bite, bouncing it in his palm in thought. "We will need a leather worker and a herbalist of sorts, along with a wheel wright and a Horse breeder, if we are to give this a proper shot. Also..." As they walk, headed for the Inn, Verio continues to list out what they will need to acquire, much if not all of which Klokk has indeed probably sorted out before coming to see him.
