@MPL - sweet, thanks!

Also, it looks like I forgot to finish a sentence in my post. Deadline crunch'll do that to you. If you decide you'd like Velos in your campaign, I'll be sure to fix things up.

A second character -- the divine ranks are looking a little thin.

Flavor:

A faithful follower of the Drunken Hero, Velos is always up for a drink, especially when it puts him in the company of adventurers seeking excitement. He is well-known for his cheerful demeanor and willingness to share the glory of Cayden Cailean with anyone who asks -- whether to heal a wound, or to rid the room of that nasty hangover from last night. To the latter end, his ability to magically fill water flasks is a literal godsend.

While not the most handsome, nor the sharpest of men, Velos is well above average in physical ability, and never hesitates to help someone in need. Often dispensing wisdom to those who ask, and, after a few drinks, even to those who don't, Velos loves nothing more than sharing the joy of good drink with others.

The thought of a world beset by evil scares him, not least of all because, where would he enjoy a good drink? Lately, a feeling that he must go out and make sure that all are free to drink and be merry has driven Velos to seek out adventure. He is not so ignorant as to think that all are as lucky as he, and that fills him with a great sense of indignation on the parts of the misfortuned.

Personality:

Velos is unequivocally chaotic good. There is no law that trumps the right to freedom, especially the freedom to enjoy a good drink, so should one choose. While he is no troublemaker, Velos has been known to help a drunk or two escape from the law, because it's not their fault they had one too many (the bartender should have cut them off!)

Still young, Velos lacks the wisdom of his elders, but seems to surpass his peers. While lacking in formal education, likely due to nights spent in taverns and mornings spent sleeping,

Build:

I'm thinking of trying something along the lines of the reach Cleric presented here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5kvBvq2DEHjRWctNG05X0JINm8/edit?pli=1

Velos has a longspear, morningstar and sling. His primary weapon is the longspear, for the reach it gives him and he uses the morningstar in case things get up close and personal. For armor, he wears a chain shirt.

His domains are Strength and Travel and he's got Create Water permanently memorized, because when you live in the desert... Light helps in dark caves and Detect Magic is a standby.

Summon Monster 1 helps distract enemies so that Velos can position himself better for AoO (he has Combat Reflexes). Comprehend Languages is good for solving drunken misunderstandings with other races and his campaign trait is Desert Child.

Rules Questions:

Regarding additional summons for Summon Monster: Would it be possible to add the Lyrakien Azata and Cassisian Angel to the Summon Monster 3 list? The Azata is from Bestiary 2 and the Angel is Core, IIRC.

For the latter, how unbelievably in-character would it be for a drunken Cleric to summon a winged helmet that flutters onto his head and tells him how to get home at night (Know Direction)?

I would call it my trusty drin-- er, thinking cap, granted to me by Cayden Cailean for being such a delightfully besodden adventurer. If I could do that, I would gladly trade Reactionary for Fortified Drinker (Cayden Cailean's trait), because it would be too flavorful to pass up. In which case, I would have to seriously consider carrying around a pocket flask of literal "liquid courage".

There's just something about wearing a minor angel as a winged helmet that I find hilarious.
