Can anyone give a list and summary of the "powerful traits that grow in strength with a character's existing traits"? I'm waiting for my book to arrive and am extremely curious.

The title really says it all. I like to keep my sheets in a 3-ring binder and I am not going to turn the binder sideways just because someone made the poor decision to design the character sheets in the landscape orientation. This is a plea for either an official fix or a fan-made sheet.

I would like to mention they hail from the same home world that the elves originally came from. This being said they could easily share a common ancestry with elves and merely differ due to divergent evolution. This being said, their skin tones might simply mirror the variety that the elves possess, albeit with the addition of the colorful facial markings (and of course antennae). I mean it makes sense, they're also a race known for their beauty and being captivating even to other races, they have a deep respect for the balance of nature, and are gifted in magic (though psionic instead of arcane).

...Also they stepped in to take the elves' place as a player race...

As far as I'm concerned, in my games I will be treating them as if this was the case because it makes sense to me. For this reason I've also stated they all have elven ears as opposed to the humanesque ones they are depicted with.

Edit: Basically any normal elf skin tone, and as for the facial markings I'd say they run all colors.

Is this Golarion, by the way?

@BC4Realz, I'll have my sheet ready tonight most likely. I assume we get the standard 2 traits? And are drawbacks allowed?

And 80 gold, that works for me.

Actually that still works really well, still wood oracle, haha.

Stat: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 5) = 8

You know what? I'm going to follow elegantly wasted and roll. So I may end up being better off as something else. Here goes nothing.

Stat: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 5) + 6 = 16
Stat: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 4) + 6 = 16
Stat: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 3) + 6 = 14
Stat: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 4) + 6 = 12
Stat: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 2) + 6 = 10
Stat: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 6) + 6 = 15

That's fine by me, but I'll take the feat instead of the SLAs.

EDIT: Quick question, do we get average gold for level 1?

Hi, this sounds very interesting and fun, I'm definitely interested, but would like to know if you would allow me to play a Ghoran Wood Oracle. I just really want to try a wood Oracle and the Ghorans are so perfectly flavored for it.

Druid or Feral Hunter at high levels, turn into a bird and fly straight up. Turn into a huge animal and buttstomp your openent(s).

A fun concept I really want to screw around with is a Feral Hunter. They get unlimited use of the Animal Aspect ability, but they actually have a physical transformation. Take on the bull aspect and wield a great axe and suddenly you're a minotaur. After that 1st level of Feral Hunter you can totally run Barbarian for the stereotypical raging bull.

Another fun one would be a Kobold Draconic Sorcerer / Draconic Disciple. "When I grow up I want to be a REAL dragon!"

A Ghoran Lame Wood Oracle with the Verdant Bloodline (from Eldritch Heritage) would basically be Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. That would be one fun build, grow your own weapons and armor, grow vines to make ranged combat maneuvers... Hey, did you die? Well good thing your comrades can pull a seed from your navel and REGROW you. Baby Groot.

Haha, I'm actually playing a blackened flame oracle right now in my first campaign. I'm using the Aasimar archetype for it though. Really fun build once you hit high levels. Open the door, fill the room with fire, close the door. Almost as effective as the group wizard but with heals to boot.

I recently managed to join a second campaign. I GM one and play in one, so another chance to play was exciting for me, and I ran into an issue of what character to play. I've thought of so many different characters and back stories and such and I haven't had a chance to play them all yet. I ended up choosing my character Illarion Sinderion, the Half-Drow (Half-Elf with the alt traits and Half-Drow Paragon feat) Vanguard Slayer.

I'm going to post some details on him and other characters in a bit (I'm typing on my phone right now), but I wanted to know if anyone else had some cool character concepts that they really want to play and just haven't yet. It could be a great opportunity to let those unplayed characters see the light of day and be discussed. Even discuss current campaign characters if so inclined.

On a side note I hope this is the correct message board for this topic, if not then I would like to apologize to the mods.

I've found an excellent build to fill many roles is an Aasimar Purifier archetype Oracle (racial archetype that has some great benefits), the flame mystery (great AoE revelations), and the blackened curse (to make up for Purifier replacing your mystery bonus spells). Oracles are competent healers, flame mystery gives good AoE (may want to grab extra revelation feat though as the archetype gives you less), blackened offers some good spells, and the Purifier archetype gives armor training (a la fighter) at higher levels and even gives access to heavy armor (if you want to raise your AC to take some of the heat off of your primary tank).

Personally I rock this build as my groups primary tank. Melee is a bit stunted obviously (because of the blackened curse), which I don't care about, because I concentrate on feats to make defensive casting easier (effectively I'm a close range battlemage).

Just weighing in here, I personally have been loving the flame mystery. It's an excellent blaster but it's revelations are great AoEs, letting you dominate the battlefield. So you're a wonderful control character.

Also you could have a weapon, a shield, and a bow, etc.

Multi-Weapon Fighting

If you have more than two arms you can use this instead of two weapon fighting. Thereby having four attacks off the bat as long as you have 13 dex. It's ridiculous.

But they don't have it by default.

The Multi-Weapon fighting feat simply lowers the penalties. They can attack in such a manner without the feat (albeit with a massive penaly, -6 main hand, -10 all off hands). I linked the feat because it's what makes the four attacks far more viable. And just like with two weapon fighting, using light weapons in the off hands lowers the penalties as well.

Last I heard they said the Kasatha are not from the Golarion solar system.

The feat just says it replaces the two-weapon fighting feat for creatures that have more then two arms. It does not say that it grants the creature multiple attacks.

You get one main hand, and the rest are considered off hands. Each off hand would get an attack of it's own in addition to the main attack. So your main hand gets one, and then three more.

Since Kasatha have been mentioned in the description I hope there are some alternate racial traits. I've had a character in mind who was born with only two arms instead of four. Partly because it would give him a perfect excuse to become an adventurer (he'd most likely be bullied or treated badly by his four armed brethren, so he'd want to get out of there), and partly because I feel some GMs might be more willing to let a player choose a Kasatha who doesn't dominate with his extra attacks at lower levels.

Hoping for a little more kasatha artwork, to possibly reveal what their mouths look like, since that's still a mystery. I'd also like to see artwork of a female Kasatha, as the race description in Bestiary 4 claims there is no notable (or maybe just no obvious) differences between men and women. I'm curious if this means they are fully androgynous, or are the differences more subtle (coloration, maybe skin patterns...). But in the same Bestiary 4 entry it also claims they refuse to remove any clothing in front of other races, so maybe their clothing is simply to... puffy(can't think of a better word) to reveal any hints as to the form beneath.

Gabriel Earthwalker. Cleric / Sorcerer of Sinashakti.

Spoiler:
Cleric 1 / Sorcerer 1 / Cleric x2 / Mystic Theurge x10 / Cleric x6 so he ends up with 19 levels of Cleric and 11 levels of Sorcerer

edit: Will have to redo equipment for average starting wealth.

You do realize of course that to take Mystic Theurge you need to be able to cast 2nd level divine and arcane spells? Taking only one level of sorcerer only gives you access to cantrips and 1st level spells. You'd need at least four levels of sorcerer (as well as the three levels of cleric)to qualify, as well as the skill requirements.
