I live about 3.5 hours northeast of DFW. This wasn't the worst winter storm in living memory (not nearly as many people here out of power as the 200 Ice Storm, for instance), but we were hit hard enough that my university canceled classes for a week and some side roads are still dicey today (as I found when driving to church this afternoon).
