Tzleztor moves in closer to the fleeing agent.
Tzleztor looks surprised as Xilt enters melee combat willingly instead of dimension stepping to safety. The mephit reaches out with a fiery claw attempting to burn white.
Confirm crit for weapon like spell:
Tzleztor swipes out with a fiery touch as white attempts to move beneath them.
"I knew these guys were up to no good." In the meanwhile Xilt simply watches as his familiar attacks.
With the threat of petrification now gone Tzleztor flies in and attempts to activate his Ember Staff. The mephit elects to create a small ball of fire in his free hand.
"Alright, now we are cooking with gas!"
Tzleztor knew it was a setup from the beginning. They were far too eager to surrender and to free the prisoners. "People avert your eyes or you might be turned to stone. I am getting out of here! Don't trust any of them." The mephit sends a cloud of sparkles in an attempt to blind two of the prisoners (white and bronze). He then flies out of the cave like a bat out of hell. The mephit grabs his Ember Staff while he flies to safety. Glitterdust Will DC 14 (vs white and bronze) or be blinded, sparkly for 6 rounds regardless.
Tzleztor thinks as well.
"I see what you all are saying."
Tzleztor knows that this is a trap.
The mephit roars with laughter at the ridiculous musical prank. "What a bunch of scamps those bards must have been. Still the order is pretty clear now. Cage Face, Fade Face, Geb Face, Deaf Face, Ace Face." "Good work Eryx."
Tzleztor looks at Jilla suspiciously not exactly trusting the gnome's good judgement. "Don't get any ideas now. If you get itchy fingers or something we can play a game of tag or I can fly you around or something. You look pretty light."
Tzleztor heads over to Andor to start the conversation.
Tzleztor knows when a fight is over as the party gangs up on the last remaining guard. He places his baton sized staff back in the loop in his bandolier and watches the mayhem.
Tzleztor pulls out a wand of Magic Missile with a free hand and attempts to activate it. He says a few words to Xilt in their own private language.The wand activates sending three missiles at the purple mantis. Tzleztor then hovers effortlessly in the air and drops the now fully discharged wand.
@Everyone - As everyone in the party is protected by Life Bubble they should be fully protected from all vapours and gases including the miasma on the battlefield.
The Mephit draws forth a baton sized staff and attempts to produce a Fireball to immolate his enemies. A small red pea emerges from the staff and detonates catching all the enemies in the first two groupings.
Tzleztor listens carefully while his master identifies the magical items.
"Sure. Grandmaster Torch where is there base exactly?"
Tzleztor mumbles under his breath about the need for employment of porters and such and how a real wizard would have one in his service but he does comply with the movement of the shard and begins the first test.
Again Tzleztor attempts to sell his master's discovery.
Tzleztor attempts to jazz up Xilt's response for the Grandmaster's benefit.
The plucky Memphit companion steps in to help his master now. While he knows that his master knows everything (or almost everything) that can be found in a book he is less skilled in more mundane matters.
"Xilt, perhaps you missed something but this is a human skull. It is like these people are not even trying."
The sidekick familiar does not miss an opportunity to pipe in his opinion. "Well at least he is a character. It should be interesting."
Tzleztor sighs and waits as well.
Tzleztor stays by his master's side and strikes a defensive pose.

Tzleztor attempts to light up the cats and the magical Cloud Giant in case any of them attempt to slink away. Glitterdust Will DC 14 or be blinded.
The mephit sighs as combat breaks out. He flies away as well and strikes a defensive pose (Total Defence Action).
Tzleztor just shakes his head at Xilt. How someone so intelligent and learned can be so clearly incapable at any sort of social interaction baffles the elemental creature. "Well, yes. We can try to help you find the best path to resolve this issue."
Tzleztor grimaces at Xilt’s attempt to be social. ”Not to worry. Berato is a smooth talker. He will straighten things out with your beau. You can call him the love doctor.”
Tzleztor gives Berato a wink and thumbs up for a job well done. The mephit knows that he really should not be speaking but his curiosity gets the best of him. "What did he ever do to you? Did he jilt you at the altar or something?"
The plucky memphit attempts to get out of the way of the electrical discharge and it only seems to graze him (Improved Evasion reduces the damage to half). Farrokh's group spell prevents all damage.
"Hey, that tickles. Thanks Farrokh. You rock!" He turns around to Xilt and he replies with considerably less enthusiasm. "You too of course." @GM Jhaeman - Tzleztor has SR 16. It will be pierced most of the time but might be handy to resist any spells cast by wand or scroll.
Tzleztor grabs his small staff and attempts to set it ablaze. The mephit flaps his wings and easily remains in place.
Tzleztor scratches his chin as he muses. ”I wonder if letting him go up alone was the best idea?” He glances fleetingly at his master.
His sidekick familiar quips with his usual level of sarcasm. ”Sure would you like me to whip out a quill and write a report on that discovery?”
Tzleztor points out some details about the creature that his master may have overlooked.

The mephit points a crooked finger at his master. ”Xilt is not interested in diplomacy. This will just be more material to put down in one of those boring chronicles that you pathfinders love to write or even worse a snoozer of a lecture.”
Tzleztor shakes his head. "All you humanoids do is sleep and eat. It is so boring."
Tzleztor nods and smirks at the stilted speech of the cyclops. He knows that his master can incinerate this lot to dust if they get too rowdy. "Sure, we will be glad not to blow you up today with our mighty magic."
Tzleztor looks over the rift-raft blocking their path. "Let us hope that these trolls don't decide to get frisky in these tight quarters. That is an experience I can live without."
Tzleztor simply shakes his head. His master is good at many things but his bland and straight up personality is unlikely to win over many people.
Tzleztor's elemental eyes do not miss a trick in the darkness either and he finds it incredibly amusing when his master is dragged around like a rag doll by the female giant. "Xilt, it looks like you have a new girlfriend."
Tzleztor never fails to miss any opportunity to needle his master. "Come on. What is so hard. You can make your intentions known to some stinky giants."
Tzleztor rankles at his master's fastidious nature. The Mephit was even (temporarily) stripped of all of his scrolls (they are placed in the wizard's Handy Haversack) in the unlikely case that they might become wet and unusable. He shakes his head and his irritation is unmistakable. "Fussy aren't we today?"
Tzleztor tries to resist the fey magics. Like his master he does not need to flee.
The plucky mephit tries to act all tough but it is quite obvious to all that he is still at least a little frightened by the haunting melody. "Hmph. That satyr is not all that. I have heard scarier."
Tzleztor is no fool either but he understands that it is at least theoretically possible that this woman is actually for real. Still his voice drips with sarcasm at the cliche situation. The mephit just shrugs. "Your typical damsel in distress. I guess for a humanoid she would be considered pretty but honestly you people just all look weird to me."
Not one to be left out the jocular mephit pipes in. "Sure Xilt. I can look out for them as well. Tell them when to jab and when to dodge and how to take cover."
Tzleztor stays next to Xilt hovering easily in the air. He cannot resist the urge to boast a little. "Giants. Yes, we kicked a raiding party's butts a couple days back. A whole bunch of them and a huge dinosaur too. They are big but most of them are pretty dumb."
Tzleztor looks on with curiosity as the two mages compare notes on the strange dragon-like creature.
The mephit decides to have some fun with the party and attempts to add a bit of color by the means of exaggeration to the present conversation. "Yes, I have tracked many creatures in my day. Even some as small as a mouse. I am certain that I will be of great help in this regard."
