M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

No, really, crew, call out what you see! My foot is getting tired from pinning this gillman!

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

"Call out what you see, crew!" Tsi' commands while pinning the gillman with one boot and threatening him with the pointy end of the trident. "Hako! You big lump! Leave the deck to the deckhands and do what you do best--knock some answers out of this fish!"

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

"Grab that last gillman! Something is still attacking the boat from below!" yells Tsi'. He swings at the gillman's legs, sweeping his trident.

Trip: 1d20 ⇒ 11

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Sorry, you may be right, Hako. I thought the spell was an auto-crit, but apparently not. Ignore the extra damage!

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Tsi' twirls his trident around to strike with divine perception at the grappling gillman.

to Hit, adding True Strike, minus 2 for grappled: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (12) + 18 = 30

confirm critical: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (17) + 18 = 35

damage: 1d8 ⇒ 5

critical damage: 1d8 ⇒ 3

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Just wanted to let y'all know that I will be on vacation from 5/20 to 5/30. I will have electronic devices and be within spitting distance of the internet, so I'll post when I can. Mother of Storms!

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Tsi' curses. "Shiprot! Otu nne gi!" don't look that up at work.

He pauses, selects a gill-man, preferably one slightly concealed but not too far away, and utters words of divine power while holding his trident menacingly with one hand and feverishly gripping his pendants of Shimye-Magalla with the other.

casting True Strike. I want a hit!

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

As soon as the gillmen finish their attack, Tsi' will attack again.

1d20 ⇒ 1

1d8 ⇒ 5

it's misses all around.

1d20 ⇒ 12

at least it ain't a critical. Ah, First Level.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

1d20 ⇒ 10

hmmm....

1d8 ⇒ 4 8 damage, if I hit.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

"All hands to arms! For the Bonaventura!" shouts Tsi'kazochi.

He moves towards the melee, trident out, then braces himself--literally--for combat. My move is 30 ft. even with armor, and trident is readied. If anyone charges me, I do double damage. Heh.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Guess I'm going last. What's worse, if I was laying down, I probably am not wearing my shiprotted sandblasted ARMOR again. (begs for GM mercy)

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

"Mother of Storms!" Tsi' springs up.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Profession (Sailor): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Tsi' is probably napping belowdecks, or if he's finished with that, meditating for his daily spells. Clerics need their recharge!

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

I was busy watching a butterfly. :P

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Tsi' smiles beatifically and checks the ship's glass. So, apparently First Mateys have first watch, early in the morning. Fun stuff to research.

A good omen. That should put the Cap'n back in sorts. A bit more time until Second Mate or Bos'n goes on watch, then I'll check on our friends in the hold. Once we're clear on deck and out of port perhaps we can let those poor devils stretch their legs, one at a time, he thinks.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Tentatively, Tsi'kazochi turns to the butterfly again. Is it still there? If so...

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

"Helmsman! Bring 'er out of port! Mind the traffic! You, able seaman, check cargo again and make sure our guests are well stowed! I'll be below in a turn of the gla--" Tsi' stops, his watchstanding commands belayed by the sight of the butterfly.

He kneels on the deck and lifts his three holy symbols of Shimye-Magalla to the butterfly, kissing the back of his hand and presenting them to it. "Ocean of Stars," he murmurs.

He then recites a prayer in Mwangi.

Polyglot:

Goddess of Luck, God of the Sea,
Ocean of Stars above us and below,
Guide us well in our journey as we return to your bosom.
Always returning, always grateful,
We delight in your gifts and bend to your whims.
Shimye-Magalla, O Two-in-One,
We hear your mighty wrath in the teeth of the storm,
We hear your laughter in the trickle of all waters that return to you.
Shimye-Magalla, we give of ourselves that we may receive you once again.
Wave-crest to untold depths, Wind, water, light and dark,
Shimye-Magalla, Ocean of Stars,
We bow to you.

Tsi' takes out his dagger and cuts off one of his locks, braided with white linen as clean and fresh as ocean-caps, and lets it fall off the deck and into the waters.

He then turns to the crew. "Be of good cheer, and not afraid. We are blessed this day. Shimye-Magalla! His face is radiant.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

it's Tsi', with an s.

Tsi' grins at the half-orcs as they are unceremoniously taken below decks. He breathes in fresh salt air and looks longingly out to the open water, away from the stink of the docks, and goes about his business as ship's cleric: checking water and stores, mending broken items, and so forth.

"All's well to cast off here, Cap'n."

do I function as bosun or first mate? Not sure if I have a deck department designation beyond cleric.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Tsi' laughs. "Ah, Captain, the fates are a capricious sort, but we have luck and those two massive half-orcs on our side. The crew has the Bonaventura ship-shape; as soon as our extra ballast arrives, we can push off and be closer to relieving ourselves of this cargo."

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Is it morning yet? I assume Tsi' going to sleep it off. When dawn strikes he'll wake up the Captain and bandy about the crew.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

There's a place called Jaco in Costa Rica and it's kind of a surfer party town. Hako's name keeps reminding me of it...mahe!

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

my sheet be messed up--I'm gonna redo it. For some reason my skills were awry. Fixed now.

I'd like to check that shooting star with sailor eyes, albeit drunken and tired ones, if that's appropriate. Did it look like a normal meteor?

Profession (Sailor)
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Alegoggles.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

"Shimye-Magalla! Guide us to our berths! Ha ha!" Staggering himself, Tsi' barely manages to hoist up Captain Eron and unfailingly leads them North... Which may or may not be towards the exit.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

I rolled near the max for height...but I'm sure everyone is 'puny' compared to Hako. D'you have skills as a sailor? I'd love to see your and Molgo's crunch in your profile!

"I'm impressed they impressed you," puns Tsi'. "Mother of Storms, I could use that ale." He scans the room looking for his usual devotional objects: winsome females and games of chance.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Tsi'kazochi stands up...all six foot five of him...to wink at the half-orc. Who stands one inch higher, if I recall. He flexes a rather small bicep and grins.

"Hako, the fates were not exactly with me this evening...but I assure you, luck tends to follow me--and can help me slip through situations where someone...bulkier...may not be able to follow. If you follow me. It will be good to have you on my ship, although we may need to keep you walking the center by the mainmaist, lest we list hard to port or larboard should you walk towards the side. Ha ha! A great ballast you half-orcs are! Perhaps if we teach you two the Varisian Mirror Dance..."

Tsi' mimes two dancers coming forward and back in symmmetry, eyebrows dancing with mischief.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

"Make it a quartet of ales, Akh-Met, and all will be well." He nods at Hako and smiles. "You'd think they'd like us filthy half-breeds in this town."

Tsi' then busies himself with his shirt, torn across his abdomen, and his cuts. Hand around his devotional objects to Shimye-Magalla, he mutters a mix of words in Celestial and Mwangi that sound like gentle winds on the waters.

Selective Channeling on his cut.
1d6 ⇒ 5

His cuts fade and vanish.

Mending on his shirt.
1d4 ⇒ 3

Pretty sure that fixes his lovely white shirt save for the stain.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Tsi' considers the young man in front of him. "I trust you not one bit, ill-gotten scion, and your supposed motives even less. Run home to daddy before I spank you with the flat of the blade."

Sense Motive on the kid's statement--really? He singled me with his urchins that quickly?
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

He gestures at the lad, sheathing his starknife. "We'll be leaving Katapesh soon enough. Should you meet me on the open water, you'll be out of the range of any protections you may enjoy here. The ocean swallows many a fool; I suggest you steer clear of it."

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

"Our apologies, Akh-met...we can gladly take this outside," says Tsi' courteously. He reaches for the spiteful and spittleful young man.

Not going for a full Grapple check, as that would be rude. Unless it's appropriate.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Sense Motive
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Tsi' brandishes the starknife.

"Speak true, and you won't find this in your guts...and I shall not strike as shallowly as you did, cur."

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Nice fourth wall break, Molgo. :P

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Tsi' snarls and rushes after the escaping man, starknife in hand. "Yaahhhh!" he cries, usual cleverness lost in incoherent anger.

Tsi'kazochi uses Agile Feet as a free action to jump over anything--and anyone--in his way unhindered, caring little for the "difficult terrain" of the bar. He gets this for the next round. In addition--without armor, his move rate is 40' due to Travel Domain. You BET he's going to run that motherless dog down!

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

my actions should be before Hako--let's see what I get to do.

Tsi' snarls. "Motherless dogs--taste my starknife!" He drives the wicked four-bladed instrument at his assailant, heedless of the pain in his abdomen.

1d20 ⇒ 7

uh oh.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

By the way...am I wearing my armor, or did I leave it on the ship? :D I am not sure I walk around in it all day...pity...could come in handy...

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Hey Hako, using Intimidate during combat is a standard action, so I'm not sure you can swing your axe and demoralize in the same round. I think. Just letting you know. There may be a half-orc feat to get around this...

Shiprot! thinks Tsi'. Instinctively he stands in front of Captain Eron to block attackers and draws his gleaming starknife. "Captain! Bore up and 'ware arms!" Yay, mariner lingo!

Initiative 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

Hey Kiv, you can also roll all of our Initiatives in the future if you'd like, so you can set the combat order. I'll be putting up all of my data on Tsi's Paizo page ASAP.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

"Two fine wheat ales, if you please, with some of those famous lemons you have in these latitudes. ...and perhaps a little extra honey wine for my Captain here," says Tsi'kazochi, first with a disarming smile, and then a glance at his longfaced boss.

Tsi' glances around to take in the sights.

Perception
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

I'm pretty sure I'll notice those half-orcs now...

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Eric keeps switching his names due to excess tiredness and two campaigns.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

Kanthuun entertains Eron as Jerikal's comes within sight. "Captain! We should enjoy the time we have on shore. It's not like we've seen many nubile maidens out on the high seas, and Katapesh must be full of them! Unless you count mermaids, and if you're asking me, they really should be fish on top and..." He continues his icthyological speculations with Eron, taking in the evening sights.

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

for out of character stuff, or in the discussion thread we can go

here's a dice roll
Check Out Your Mom1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

You can Preview to see how your dice rolled--you can't 'refresh' to change your roll, I don't think, and that would be cheeeating...and then you can react accordingly...

His mother is a right looker, mused Tsi'. "I have...an errand to run..." Tsi' faded off to the left, whistling.

oops, I wrote this all in past tense. Anyhoo.

Also, this

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

bah, posted as Kanthuun!

M Half-Elf (Bonuwat) Cleric 1st Level

I think you have to add me (and Vic and Boogie need to make characters on here. Yayy!
