Sovereign Court

I'm around but was gone for a week...sorta looks like lights out to me...

Sovereign Court

Trelck takes the casting and tying up of the mule as a sign to move on, gear firmly in hand the dwarf moves forward to reveal what else may come...

Sovereign Court

Trelck pulls his ax and shield and takes a step in front of Gustav looking at the others if they want to follow.

Sovereign Court

Survival: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

Trelck will look around for more signs of the creature and attempt to guide the group.

Sovereign Court

Aye but that is what I am sayin, would it be better to seek the thing out carefully then get ambushed by a bear god? I'm not interested in sinkin my ax in it...well...not unless it seems like the best choice. The dwarf scratches idly at his beard. If you want to move on then we can move on, I was only sayin.

Sovereign Court

Trelck cocks a head at the others, I'm not one for trouble we don't need but we are here to explore, yes? Seems to me we should follow that creature and see what it is?

Sovereign Court

Thanks for keeping us informed, I know how it can get. As long as we can plug along in some fashion I am happy.

Sovereign Court

Sorry for my lack of posting, I haven't been able to get onto the site until now? Anyone else having that problem? On a seperate note can we be made inactive from the other thread so it isn't in our active campaigns? No big deal, just curious.

Trleck looks out at the wilderness as the group gathers its things and prepares to move on. You said that way, eh Dorian? The dwarf gestures in the vague direction he was sure the android mentioned at some point.

Do we need anything else? Should we check for gear or weapons? I feel fairly equipped and lack much in the way of coin but I don't want any of us to feel rushed...

Sovereign Court

I was just being cute and saying "Tik'Klik" as I imagine the confused wyrwood would...wood would...fun to type.

Sovereign Court

Tik'Klik?

Sovereign Court

Aye and not to be rude but, is there more than one of those tokens? We mean to split up at some point I think...not that our desire to help is based on that, mind ya.

Sovereign Court

Trelck follows the other dwarf's lead and eats, and drinks and listens. At Banny's mention of giants the fighter merely grunts as though to emphasize the question.

Sovereign Court

Trelck enters wordlessly, nodding approvingly at the others from the ship but otherwise staying quiet and to the back. When William offers his hand to the king, Trelck winces slightly. [If anyone cares to even look at him as that happen...]

Sovereign Court

Agreed

Sovereign Court

With the path set we should make our way to the town. Check in, see if our other team made it and so on...

Sovereign Court

Proper sentiment but we may need to work on your 'enthusiasm' as it were.

Sovereign Court

Trelck nods at Gustav's enthusiasm and takes Feldspar's reins and worsk with the sure footed pony up the stairs.

I do indeed work at a game store in Montreal.

Very cool. I miss the work. I worked for a few different ones and have gotten hooked up with tons of people through it, if I could afford to I would still, my last game store is really my home away from home. But ala, family and what not takes a bit of a bigger paycheck so, alas I can't still do it.

Does Montreal have many stores? (Not that you know every single one...or maybe you do :-) ) I am always curious to learn more about how many stores manage to function in a given area. I am in WA south of Seattle so we have a bunch it seems but with WotC and Paizo, Nintendo and others spread throughout it seems like we are primed for that kind of community. When I lived elsewhere it was way harder to get to a shop of ANY size.

Sovereign Court

Trleck swears as the others yell, he doe his best to work with Gustav to push the mule and pony up ahead of the group as Dorian prepares to attack the swarm...Hoping that we can pull them through and leave us between the swarm and the animals.

Sovereign Court

Sorry had a weird blip on the famil radar, will get updates in today, sorry for the absence.'
On a side note Winterbones do you work a game store? I used to for a long long time...so I know the apin of a MtG release :p

Sovereign Court

Trelck nods and takes the stick and presses on to the East.

Sovereign Court

Str!: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 Plus whatever the crowbar does to help?

Sovereign Court

Ah Dorian thank you for playing that exactly as I hoped!

Trelck scratches his beard and points to the door. I've got a crobar in the sack, do we need to lever this damn thing open?

Sovereign Court

Trelck grunts at William, Now that's just something..as it happens I'm not that good at looking at this sort of thing...I'm...just...better at making it than most... we all got our own relationship to stone is all I'm sayin.

Sovereign Court

Trelck shimmies up the pole as he closes to the door and clicks his tongue. Well now. Worked stone and a door. We are headed somewhere for sure, and I doubt a bear lives here. The dwarf chuckles to himself and turns to the android with a look of levity on his face.

Sovereign Court

What can I say...nimble as a ram...blind as a bat...

The dwarf continues to grumble as he sees everyone cross.

Can we get the animals across that? I suppose with the right incentive?

Sovereign Court

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 Of course

Sovereign Court

Trleck continues to lead on, smacking the stick at regular intervals, I suppose it depends on how often they think unwashed travelers from beyond their lands make their way into their caves...or if they have bandits. Me? I'm more wonderin when we meet the animals that frequent these caves for shelter or some such..

The dwarf has an obvious humor to his voice but also an edge of "ready for anything" as well.

Sovereign Court

With the group arrayed as it is, and with their animals hitched outside? Trelck begins to enter the cairn, bumping the stick about in front of him.

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15 Another classic example of my age old question, why are people trained to live or die by watching how their opponents move not "trained" in perception...*sigh*

Sovereign Court

Thought I posted...must be my imagination...

Trelck fingers his axe for a second as he cocks an eyebrow at the cleric, One of those types huh? The dwarf scratches at his beard then grunts consent as he grabs the pole, I suppose it makes sense to be smart about it but if a bear comes at me... the dwarf frowns as he hefts the pole in front of him and tests it against the floor with a thwack

Darkvision trap tripper has been deployed. Initiate sequence CLICK CLACK UH-OH

Sovereign Court

Sorry I got so excited, I'm a grown man after all, but after being inundated with Hobbit movie imagery it became clear to me that dwarves on ponies actually makes a lot of sense. Plus I was worried about slowing us down so that I had the solution in hand makes me happy.

Sovereign Court

I keep forgetting. I have a pony! A PONY!!If the mule can move faster than 20' per round then so can I!

Sovereign Court

Trelck nods at the cleric with William, Aye. Sorry that I slow us down a pace, its what you get for all this fantastic steel and skill bundled in such a compact space! the dwarf guffaws at his own joke as he drops his own goggles and continues to trek with the group.

Sovereign Court

Well maybe we should split earlier than we thought. Gustav's mule is only the start, a good supply train from shore to town will require we find a route without climbing or confirm that we would need to build lifts off the bluff in the long run. Maybe you lot should climb and we should veer off and see if we can find another way around?

Sovereign Court

Trelck bemusedly puffs on his pipe.

I don't think he likes your brand of joking William.

Sovereign Court

Gustav Verhu wrote:

Gustav will continue tinkering with weapons and gear, and checking on Horace, his mule.

"Trelck, you sure you are ok with this? I know I'll appreciate having your axe nearby."

Aye lad its a good split. A man with your expertise would be helpful to me if we need to mend our arms and as much as I like my kind Banny's skills make sense with the gunslinger, Mogwag and...well whatever that damn golem does. You, me, William and Dorian'll make a fine team.

Sovereign Court

Trelck checks his gear and readies for landfall.

Sovereign Court

Split the dwarves...funny. Id prefer not...but whatever you all feel you need to do is well enough I suppose

Sovereign Court

You tell us. It moves....it clicks...i'm thinking the note missed some "features"...

Sovereign Court

I realize that there may be a need for more conversation aboult splitting up and balance but I'm already liking the vibe of "two dwarves and a golem" as a team...heh

Looking at Banny Trelck snorts, Well it seems to be enthusiastic, lets give it that...

Sovereign Court

Aye ye wee marionette, we get that "tik'klik" or what have you...we sure this thing aint a gnomish contraption?

The dwarf scratches his beard with the.mouthpiece of his.pipe, He aint talkin he's...clickin...or something...

Sovereign Court

Noisy bugger.. the dwarf snorts and offers a shrug to anyone who looks at him as he puffs on his pipe.

Also, Curden has the deep resonating voice of Sam Elliot. Because that man's voice is in the same tier as that of Morgan Freeman's.

LOL. That is all.

Trelck has found the cold air refreshing and the close quarters frustrating at best. Seeing the others fiddling with the box and turning on the wood golem the dwarf gets closer out of curiosity.

As Curden moves to turn on the golem the dwarf snorts, Why a wood one? Stone would be more resilient? Maybe this one its faster? If you like such a thing...

The dwarf pats around his vest for a pipe, finds it in his breast pocket, and moves to light it and watch the proceedings.

Sovereign Court

Awesome, thanks!

Sovereign Court

I always make a joke at this point about how I only want luck for me...so just assume I did that... oh and good luck everyone.

I tried to get into that show, I wanted to like it, I just couldn't. :(

Yeah its a labor of love and I haven't finished season 2 because all too often I find myself sort of stopping whatever I am doing and cocking my head at the T.V. and saying Really? They're gonna do...that? Really? and then sort of frowning to myself because I am not sure I *like* it anymore...heh.

Sovereign Court

Would love to get Trelck back into action his ROW game died. Updated his stats for the buy, everything else should match. Will reformat CS if I get accepted if that is okay...

Sovereign Court

oh I thought you came through to us...yeah clarification would be good.

Sovereign Court

Don't forget you get +1 to hit on higher ground...not sure that 10 makes the cut but take what you can get right?

Sovereign Court

Trelck groans slightly then shores up his axe and shield. Of course. Conscious of the fact that smoke has been building up in the lodge, Trelck waves to Sondergang and Wildir to follow him around the side. Drew, thin out what you can! Don't worry about being seen, skeletons don't have organs to hurt. and hopefully nothing to throw...
