Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

"Okay, Well, I guess if you are okay, I'd just like to thank you for your service and head off if there isn't anything else.

Treisdan turns to start walking away.

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

"Its times like this when I miss my ability to read minds" Treisdan comments quietly before asking a legitimate question. "Is there something that I need to know?"

a short time after tural goes quiet, reviarti looks back to treisadan.

"Well, you certainly got tural talking, I'll give you that."
she waits a bit, realizing he probably wants more.
"Tural's never talked much, from what I can tell. At least, not near me."

Looking directly at Tural, he furrows his brow and asks, "Why is that? Why would you talk to me? When you don't really in front of her? Speaking of which, Why would you not talk in front of her?

tural thinks.

"Oh, ok."
tural is sunny again just as fast as he became upset.
"Sorry for misunderstanding. So, this... Binding... Is it safe? Well, I know it isn't, but how unsafe is it?

Binding is not dangerous in and of itself. I offer the vestige the feeling of the world again, and in return he offers me a fraction of his or her power. It is an equivalent exchange, unlike those who deal with devils. As long as they have feeling in this world, they grant me power, but they never ask for more. Because I am welcoming them into my soul, There is sometimes what is called a 'bad binding' where the vestige has enough influence that it effects my behavior, but it is not as though I am possessed, it is more like they have talked me into seeing their way of thinking, and I am more likely to act how they would, than I normally would." Treisdan explains this calmly, though he is slightly disturbed by Tural's shifting emotion

tural actually looks a bit mad there.

"I agree, but that does not mean that a person can not fall into the category of 'good' or the category of 'evil'. The person falls into neither of the categories, he has committed atrocious evil, but also he has done great deeds of valor. I never said he is above good or evil. I said he is not good, and he is not evil. He is beyond the gods, is what I said. Treisdan looks to Revarti's expression, and then back to Tural, wondering what he had said or done to provoke this apparently uncommon reaction.

"Genosuke said my aura would get in the Way of summoning him. I'm well aware it can't dispel him. My aura can't do that. It gives all those in the aria protection from possession from evil creatures. So... Since he said it would get in the way... Elgor is probably evil."

tural's hand twitches, with a click noise each time.

"That is incorrect, Eligor is not evil. Protection from evil would not prevent it. As far as I know there are only three or four things that can do anything to /any/ vestige..."

Treisdan keeps glancing down to the click each time it happens, almost reflexively

"Eligor is not evil, but he is not good either. Eligor is an outcast soul...And he is beyond the gods, the gods once warred for his soul, and when he perished no god claimed him for fear of another war. He was left and forgotten. He is not evil, but neither is he good, he simply exists..." His voice is tinged with the empathetic sadness of what happened long ago.

Though Treisdan has lost a lot of his powers of deduction, seeing the quiet curiosity of Tural, and the apparent indifference of Rivarti, he turns to look at him instead. "Did you have any questions?" he directs this question towards the robotic angelic figure.

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

Treisdan's hand begins to re-calcify as he holds it up and flexes it in front of the Zif. "Eligor" He says as the tips of the claws and scales are wreathed in flames, "He is a vestige, and by offering him the feeling of this world he offers me power. As a cost for this power, he leaves this mark upon me, and his personality is added to mine. It is difficult to explain." This explanation is unbelievably simple, but it basically cuts to the heart of the matter.

"My name is Treisdan Achdarach, and I would like to ask your name." the white haired mage is still quite disheveled from before, but he seems grateful for what you did.

reviarti extends a hand.

Treisdan looks at the crisp and clean lines of the summoning circle that Genosuke drew, and the fact that he had Eligor's symbol on hand. "I expect it did."

Treisdan flexes the clawed talon once more, as the scales begin to fade, and the hard chiten once more being replaced with soft supple skin, the ivory hooks return to keratin... "If you know where I could go to fix myself, I would love to get that knowledge... but it is not as though I can just purchase another half of a soul at the school supply store."

Long pause before continuing

DB had one reason that was close but no cigar... but the other two are spot on....

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

Lifting the visor, the elvish face of Eligor looks out, directly at Treisdan.

"Hello, Treisdan, How are you today." Despite his appearance, and riding a terrifying chimeric creature, he seems to be very cordial and his voice is surprisingly deep and cultured.

Treisdan forces himself to sit up, and lean toward the summoning circle; in a voice less than a whisper he greets the vestige. "I am not well Eligor, That is why I have called you here." He reaches forward, sticking his hand into the circle.

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

no... its kinda because he literally tore his soul in half... he is trying to use the binding to reinforce his soul and try to keep his body from breaking down

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

you try running about with half a soul... and besides.... I don't think getting rid of more of it will help....

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

Treisdan coughs slightly and murmurs no to Reviarti

As the last lines are drawn, Treisdan manages to exhale the invoking name.

From an extremely far distance, yet still inside of the three foot circle, a huge warrior mounted on a half dragon half horse gallops towards them, The warrior and mount are both covered in a platemail engraved with dragonscales. The rider and horse are as red as blood, and the lance he holds in one hand is colored the same as his other equipment, and in the other he holds a crimson banner with a black dragon crossed with a lance...

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

A half sigh, half groan escapes his lips as he is lain down, his head facing toward the blank patch on the floor...

she says, indifferent.

Triangle of three circles at top left... triangle of lines on top right, facing right... A tail that reaches from the center of the triangles left side....to the right bottom corner..."

He coughs a bit, and tells Reviarti, "call the name, Eligor."

Will you do it, or will you decide its a terrible idea....?

Treisdan is currently under the effects of a few minor cantrip level spells, his staff is heavily enchanted and so is his robe, but there doesn't appear to be any hostile magic enshrouding him at the moment...

Treisdan's natural magic, The type that all magic users have, (how you can tell his magic level) appears to be twisted and ripped, as though he had been shredded by some form of soul-tearing spell sometime in the recent past... his breathing is shallow and has ceased trying to stand...

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

his face is sallow and his skin is sunken in, giving himself a skull-like visage.

it will help me determine how to explain how and what you see.

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

The side of his head pounding like a drum, he stumbled forward, moving quite slowly and twisting around as he starts to stumble, his back hit the wall. Slowly sliding downward, he groans in pain...

anyone can run across Treisdan, he needs a hand or two...

His staff is lain across his thighs where he tried to keep himself propped upright. It feels as though something inside of his skull is trying to break free.
