Congrats on those who got in! Have fun!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

hate to be that person but it looks like you did miss a few, like Iosef (the middle aged human conjurer). just wanna make sure no one’s left from the list and everyone gets a fair shot. wishing everyone luck!

Can everyone open, and see, the Phaendar map and the Who's who tab?

I can!

An image is good too, if you have the skills to draw or the money to hire a artist. There's a lot of ways to get how a character looks to others.

I am an artist-in-training! I have two other Pathfinder PCs in WIPs, and I could definitely draw out my dwarf.

decided that Torsuuk is a resident after getting used to the town of Phaendar. still a mercenary that travels when needed but sticks around to help the townsfolk.

Here be KoolKobold's submission! Let me know if there's any changes that need to be made.

Updating the 5+ points for background:

Background:

1) A stonelord of the Master of the First Vaults has come to Osirion to find the treasures in the necropalis of Wati-not only to return the lost treasure to the country, but to also destroy the undead abominations who dare to keep the treasures for themselves.
2) His parents, Taria and Xorkuur Diamondhammer, were born, raised, and married in the city of Absalom-however they moved to Totra-then settling down in Sothis-to make a new living for their unborn child. They gave birth to Torsuuk shortly after arriving to the capital, and had thanked the priests of Abadar for assisting them in labor.
3) Torsuuk's name is Dwarven for "gold" or "golden"-named first for how the mother considered him the most valuable person in her entire life, but later he attributed the name to his golden blond beard.
4) His "father" is a merchant and smith that works in the shopping districts of Sothis, crafting armor and weaponry in styles more commonly found in the northern countries like Varisia than in Osirion. He tried to have Torsuuk be the heir to this business, but the dwarf turned it down when he became accepted for training as a paladin of Abadar.
5) Torsuuk's original last name was indeed Diamondhammer, but he changed it to Sandhammer once he discovered his powers as a stonelord-this brought great shame to his father, as he lived in a family that was tradition to pass down their profession of smithing to every firstborn child.

didn't know if there's a church of Abadar in Sothis or not; if there isn't, I'll change it.

Also, @DM Chubbleston, are alternate racial traits acceptable or not? If they are I wanted to replace greed with lorekeeper, defensive training, hatred and stonecunning with sky sentinel, and darkvision with surface survivalist.

This is Torsuuk Sandhammer, dwarf stonelord of Abadar, character submission from KoolKobold. Always thought this racial paladin archetype was unique, and wanted to play it with a Mummy's Mask AP (since I think the concept of an earth paladin can tie in quite nicely with this AP).

1) I'd like 5+ points that capture the concept and story of the character. More are welcome, but no less than five: A stonelord of the Master of the First Vaults has come to Osirion to find the treasures in the necropalis of Wati-not only to return the lost treasure to the country, but to also destroy the undead abominations who dare to keep the treasures for themselves.

2) Two goals that you'd like the character to accomplish in-game: Remove Wati from it's necromatic taint, and to prove himself as a devotee to Abadar.

3) Two secrets, one the PC keeps to himself, and one kept from the PC. I'll come up with a third that both the character and player aren't aware of, in hopes of shocking surprises within the storytelling: The secret that Torsuuk keeps is that he is somewhat ashamed of being a dwarf stonelord yet not worshiping Torag-this had made him a disgrace to his father, so much that he has all but disowned the dwarf stonelord. The secret kept from him could be that the father that he knows is not his biological father-his true father died while fighting against orcs. (cliche, maybe, but that's the best I could come up with)

4) 3-5 people that are tied to your PC by blood, love, rivalry, honor, etc. I'd like at least one enemy in a set of three or four, with no more than two for a set of five. PLEASE consider the players reference guide for ideas: Hmm...this I'll have to work on more, but I have a basic idea for 3 people tied to him, and one enemy. One of the people tied to him the most is his mother-through despite the hardships of his training, and the disdain he held from his father, she still loved and supported him, making her the most important person to him. Then there is his tutor-a Adabaran priest who not only taught him the ways of the Master of the First Vault, but also to allow his own beliefs to merge with the god's beliefs, rather than trading one over the other. The third important person would be an old stonelord dwarf of Torag-a native from the Five Mountain Kingdoms, he moved to Osirion for his last adventure, which ended badly; ever since, he has lived in the desert country, and was the one who showed Torsuuk his potential to be a new stonelord. His enemy would be a female inquisitor of Norgorber; she had longed to be a stonelord herself, but for some reason or another, she could not accomplish this goal. She believes that Torag has prevented her from being who she wants, and thus has abandoned her faith in the dwarven god and has turned her faith to Norgorber, hunting down every single stonelord she can find (with the full philosophy that if she can't be a stonelord, no other dwarf can be one either).

5) Three key memories that define your character as the person they are at the time of submission: Being accepted into Abadar's church as a stonelord, witnessing the forgiveness of a murderer by the church of Sarenrae, and learning that half of an Osirion city is populated by undead.

6) Finally, I'd like you to include with your submission a fear or paranoia that causes your character to shiver, cower, or panic. Anything from spiders to unexplained happenstance, but I'm sure you'll all come up with some awful stuff on your own: This is more of a half fear/half hatred for undead, but a very specific fear of his is having an ally, friend or family member being turned into an undead-he cannot fathom at the idea of anyone close to him becoming tainted, and the thought of having to kill those he cares about because of that makes him nervous.

Will update his full statistics as soon as possible.
