I am looking at building a bard for Reign of Winter PFS campaign and need some help with creating it. I want to be a controller bard or skill monkey in a sense. I have a group that will be very well focused on doing lots of damage so want to do more battlefield control etc. Any suggestions on what to take or stat build?

Liberty's Edge

I am having some trouble with deciding how I want my character before it hits level two. I currently have a fighter wielding a spiked chain for tripping with high dex but not as much str. So my CMB is not as high as I would like it. The other problem is I am playing character in Core mode so not many options to really bump CMB. Should I keep dex and just take agile maneuvers feat or go str build and take heavy flail as well?

I was wondering if this idea I have would work. I was thinking of having a Magus with a scimitar in one hand and the other free to cast spells etc. Would a ring of force shield allow me to get the AC bonus but also let me cast spells without having to hold a shield?

Liberty's Edge

I have a 7th level Magus that just hit 8th level and I was wondering if I should take a level of eldritch knight at 8th or just do straight magus. Any suggestions?

I was wondering what people suggested for wizard specialty school. I am debating between evocation, conjuration, illusion and divination but I am not sure what I want to do yet. I think it will depend on my group and what they are playing. so far we have a cavalier, fighter and an inquisitor.

I was wondering what classes would be ideal for Reign of Winter Adventure Path. I know we are only allowed Core Classes and the Advanced Players Guide Classes. What do people suggest and any possible fun combo classes like multi-classing or interesting builds?

I am going to be playing Reign of Winter using Pathfinder Society rules soon with a group of friends. I am trying to figure out what to play or get some inspiration of fun builds. I know my wife is going to be playing an Oradin but I don't know what the other two players are going to be using. Any ideas of effective or fun builds?

I am trying to find a different way to play classes instead of the typical big weapon or sword and shield. I have thought of stuff like unarmed strike with multiclassing rogue/monk, and using a fighter with a trip and/or disarm ability. What are some good suggestions for characters like this or any other ideas people may have. I am looking to expand how I can play characters.

I wanted to go away from typical smash your face fighter or sword and shield fighter. I was thinking of doing a trip/disarm type fighter. Any suggestions on weapons and/or feats? I am debating between spiked chain and guisarme.

I need help figuring out what class to play in Reign of Winter (not knowing what others are playing). I have been looking at an unarmed strike Brawler and a TWF Slayer. I am just having some difficulty having inspiration. I was looking at Alchemist (Because of Fullmetal Alchemist) and then Cavalier (Issue with no mount because of in buildings or dungeons) and a Monk/Rogue or Monk/Ninja (guess 2 weakest classes). Any ideas and stats for each like Ability scores (20 point buy) and feats etc is much appreciated.

I am debating on playing a Brawler and a Slayer and was wondering best way to build either one. I am interested in feats and ability scores. The Brawler I plan on doing unarmed strike and slayer doing TWF.

I was wondering if anyone has a guide or suggestions for how many levels of monk/rogue and when to take them.
