PF2 Playtest Character

Funniest 28 second ninja ever ^_^

PF2 Playtest Character

Forgot Haste

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 - 8 ⇒ (8) + 16 - 8 = 16 (vs flat-footed)
Slashing: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 4) + 6 = 11
Sneak: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (5, 2) + 1 = 8

PF2 Playtest Character

Thorax taps the gnome on the shoulder.

"Bye."

Crit, Sneak: 4d6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 5, 6, 3) + 2 = 19

Crit Effect: Flat-footed until the start of my next turn.

PF2 Playtest Character

Oh wow. Thank you! Thorax will use the Haste to either Stride an additional 30 feet to close with an enemy, or Strike if he doesn't need to move that far.

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 16 - 4 = 18 (vs flat-footed)
Slashing: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 4) + 6 = 15
Sneak: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 1) + 1 = 6

PF2 Playtest Character

I do as well, so Thorax will wait until after the fiery death has been delivered, and then Stridex2 towards the closest enemy and Strike.

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (11) + 16 = 27
Slashing: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 1) + 6 = 9

If Sneak was possible, add: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (5, 4) + 1 = 10

PF2 Playtest Character

Yeah the current general consensus is lackluster =(

PF2 Playtest Character

Right before they descend into the canyon, Thorax will drink the last of his lesser antidotes.

+2 Fort vs Poisons for 6 hours.

PF2 Playtest Character

An invisible Roc. Lol.

~ "What's that up in the sky? 5 adventurers flying this way? Why do they look like they're all sitting down?"

PF2 Playtest Character

Thorax puffs his chest out to show off his own Bandolier full of goblinmade alchemical creations.

"Have any secrets for big explosions? Ones you no longer want to be secret? Or any bombs you want us to 'deliver' to the Blue Streaks?"

PF2 Playtest Character

"We go this way?"

Perception (M): 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26

PF2 Playtest Character

Thorax quickly Strides around [blue] to flank with Bair and deliver a couple painful Strikes.

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19 (vs flat-footed)
Slashing: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 1) + 6 = 10
Sneak: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (3, 4) + 1 = 8

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 16 - 4 = 27 (vs flat-footed)
Slashing: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 4) + 6 = 12
Sneak: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (5, 4) + 1 = 10

Crit Effect: Flat-footed until the start of my next turn.

PF2 Playtest Character

"YAAAYYY-I'm-going-to-kill-you-all-now!!"

PF2 Playtest Character

"OOOWWEE!!"

Battle Medicine: 2d8 + 15 ⇒ (1, 3) + 15 = 19

Thorax patches himself up real quick, while glaring at the gunners.

"Sure. Shoot the small goblin. I hope bird has Taldan Fried Longshanks for dinner tonight."

He then Strides into a flank with the Bear... No, not Bair... THE Bear... and then Strikes.

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (16) + 16 = 32 (vs flat-footed)
Slashing: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 1) + 6 = 8
Sneak: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (1, 3) + 1 = 5

Crit Effect: Flat-footed until the start of my next turn.

PF2 Playtest Character

Thorax performs a Quick Jump (1 action) over the pool of acid to flank with Bair, then Quickdraws/Strikes and Strikes!

Athletics (T): 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 9 + 2 = 26 + 5ft from Boots = The maximum is 30ft

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (15) + 16 = 31 (vs flat-footed)

Sneak: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 2) + 1 = 5

Crit Effect: Flat-footed until the start of my next turn.

Once he's at ground level, Thorax asks Dran'Thor, "Has bird been carrying that elephant this whole time?"

PF2 Playtest Character

"'Torch'? This bestest name ever! How did town earn name?"

Diplomacy (E): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (17) + 14 = 31

"Come on! We should get souvenir torches!"

Perception (M): 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33

PF2 Playtest Character

I have a bad feeling I'm never going to roll that good again during this scenario =(

PF2 Playtest Character

Huh. My Macro for Survival was giving me an erroneous additional +2. I wonder how long that's been in place =/

Thorax utilizes these four flasks of oil he's been carrying ever since he began adventuring to create some terrible-smelling smoke.

Survival (mask scent) 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29

When Jydno brings Thorax the carcass of the Krooth and flashes a gigantic, toothy grin, Thorax nods approvingly. "Good job. Nice cuts. Now, time to show you homemade jam recipe."

Crafting (preserve guts) 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31

"Oooo! Pretty!"

Thievery (metal implants) 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (20) + 17 = 37

PF2 Playtest Character

"Who this 'Tech-Nick Leeg'?"

PF2 Playtest Character

If that Roc dies, we're having the world's biggest fried chicken dinner =P

PF2 Playtest Character

So far away =(

PF2 Playtest Character

It's weird that Thorax is ahead, since I went Slow Track with him for a while, but I guess he did start at 3rd Level from Playtest Points.

After the Chronicle for Grim Symphony he will have 81xp, which means he'll be Level 8 in time for the Season 2 Special.

Assuming that can still be a thing. I don't know when it's being offered online next. GameDay IX doesn't have it.

PF2 Playtest Character

"Hey, Venture Gorm? Can we take organ to Lodge at Absalom? I bet lots of Goblins want to be new Pathfinders if they get to play it!"

PF2 Playtest Character

If you want to hand out bonus Hero Points for the 4 hours this session took to play through, I'll use it on my second roll ^_^

And yeah, I was including the -1 for Encumbered. But I won't for these if we can take our time:

Thievery #2, Reroll: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (17) + 17 = 34

After that, Thorax gingerly takes care of the books that Bair was going to grab:

Thievery #3: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (18) + 17 = 35

So 3 loads for Dran'Thor and 3 loads for Thorax.

PF2 Playtest Character

Even with Hefty Hauler and a Backpack, Thorax is only strong enough to carry 8 more Bulk of books (and is encumbered while doing so).

Thievery (M): 1d20 + 17 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 17 - 1 = 25

And if a 2nd check is needed for the remaining 3 Bulk...

Thievery (M): 1d20 + 17 - 1 ⇒ (4) + 17 - 1 = 20

PF2 Playtest Character

"So many memories."

PF2 Playtest Character

Thorax triple Strides up to the composer, dogslicer raised high in tune to the strange new sound...

"Hey! This my favorite one yet. Reminds me of mother singing me to sleep. Ever heard of Goblin lullabies?"

To which Thorax demonstrates.

Performance (T): 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17

Performance, Reroll: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25

PF2 Playtest Character

Yeah that space was the farthest to the right that Thorax could double move to and still be within the first range increment of his bomb.

Thorax huffs that his beautiful, hand-crafted frost vial was eaten by the fire. He pulls out his last potion, drinks it for 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (2, 8) + 5 = 15, and starts heading for the stairs.

PF2 Playtest Character

Even though Perform has the Concentrate Trait, I don't think mundane damage interferes with it; it's more for determining whether a Barbarian can use it while Raging, and I think a couple spell effects prevent Concentrate actions.

Thorax toddles into the room and Quickdraws his last frost vial to chill the conductor out.

Frost Vial, Moderate: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 13 + 1 = 32
Cold: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 6) = 7 + 2 Splash

PF2 Playtest Character

Thorax steps up to Bair and breaks out his healers tools to patch them both up simultaneously.

Battle Medicine, Bair: 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (8, 4) + 10 = 22

Battle Medicine, Thorax: 2d8 + 15 ⇒ (1, 2) + 15 = 18

PF2 Playtest Character

"Alrighty.."

Thorax begins with another splash weapon to maximize its potential..

Frost Vial, Moderate: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 13 + 1 = 27
Cold: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9 + 2 Splash

And then cuts once..

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 16 - 4 = 19
Slashing: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 5) + 6 = 16

And then backs off.

Wow! 4000 posts in this thread ^_^

PF2 Playtest Character

"Ughhhh... Retreat? Get away from music?"

6 opponents each getting two rounds of full attacks without penalty tells me that we can't handle this here.

PF2 Playtest Character

Thorax keeps on theme with the change of lyrics by quickdrawing and lobbing an Alchemist Fire at the Giant in the middle back of the group.

Alchemist Fire, Moderate: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 13 + 1 = 17
Fire: 2d8 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9 + 2 Splash + 2 Persistent

And then a Holy Water... 1d20 + 15 - 5 ⇒ (3) + 15 - 5 = 13
Good: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 + 1 Splash

And then another Holy Water... 1d20 + 15 - 10 ⇒ (17) + 15 - 10 = 22
Good: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 + 1 Splash

PF2 Playtest Character

Perfect Scenario for Bon Mot!

PF2 Playtest Character

THAT. IS. AWESOME.

As impressionable young goblins, Thorax's kids begin tapping to the beat, before receiving an icy glare from their father.

"Stand back, kids. This most challenging battle ever."

Thorax points his dogslicer at the conductor.. and then... begins swinging his hips to the melody.

"I'm tired of these undead, I'm tired of these schemes!
We're here to clean this place out, that's how it's gonna be!
Either we're kicking you down, or cutting you up!
As jacked as it sounds, the whole system sucks. Dammit!"

PF2 Playtest Character

Thorax digs in his backpack for a masterwork speaking trumpet, and steps up to the challenge.

*cough*

"You spirits are mournful,
Thorax Toothlicker understand!
The Dwarf was so scornful,
It's just a sausage! Probably bland!

You cry out in pain,
And probably hunger!
So here is your sausage,
And we stay here no longer."

Thorax tosses the sausage down the hallway as he concludes his quip.

Performance (T): 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28

PF2 Playtest Character

Thorax's ears flop down when the Dwarf tells him no sausage. His tummy even protests. Loudly.

"*sigh* Ready..."

Thorax loots everything he can carry, though. Including the sausages.

PF2 Playtest Character

Best scenario for that "Resist 1 Electricity" Boon and it still didn't help, Lol.

PF2 Playtest Character

"Why room spinning so much..."

Thorax toddles over to Adalan first to administer some Battle Medicine for 2d8 + 15 ⇒ (5, 8) + 15 = 28, then Bair for 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (8, 7) + 10 = 25, then the Smilodon for 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (3, 2) + 10 = 15, and finally plops down to tend to his own wounds for the next hour.

Treat Wounds, Godless Healing, Mortal Healing, 1 Hour, DC 20: 4d8 + 15 ⇒ (5, 3, 2, 4) + 15 = 29 x 2 = 58 HP

Adalan Mussara wrote:
Spending a Hero Point and using Heroic Defiance to regain consciousness.

Solid plan! I will do the same!

Thorax's spasms jostle him awake. He drearily reaches for his moderate healing potion, and drinks it for 3d8 + 10 ⇒ (4, 3, 6) + 10 = 23 before jumping to his feet.

Interact, Interact, Stand

PF2 Playtest Character

Reflex+Evasion: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (15) + 17 = 32 Heh. Is there such thing as a double Crit success?

A younger Thorax probably would have welcomed a good ol' fashioned pus shower, but the fatherly Goblin simply dodges out of the way, strides around the remaining hand, and slashes twice.

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18
Slashing: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 2) + 6 = 10

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 16 - 4 = 15
Slashing: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 3) + 6 = 15

"Here kitty kitty kitty!"

"Rude! Thorax don't have lisp! Common is second language!"

The Smilodon doesn't have Reach, right? If it doesn't, then Thorax will delay until it moves into a flank.

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19 (vs flat-footed)
Slashing: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 1) + 6 = 8
Sneak: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (1, 5) + 1 = 7

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 16 - 4 = 25 (vs flat-footed)
Slashing: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 6) + 6 = 15
Sneak: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (1, 6) + 1 = 8

Crit Effect: Flat-footed until the start of my next turn.

Battle Medicine: 2d8 + 15 ⇒ (6, 3) + 15 = 24

PF2 Playtest Character

"Hmm. Mebets those wraps aren't very fire resistant."

Thorax strides into the room, quickdraws and tosses an Alchemist Fire at the dwarf mummy, and then strides behind the first crawling claw to provide a flank for Smiley.

Alchemist Fire, Moderate: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 13 + 1 = 18
Fire: 2d8 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7 + 2 Splash + 2 Persistent

PF2 Playtest Character

As Thorax's daughter gushes over the sight of the kittens and his son starts licking his lips, Thorax interrupts them both.

"Dran'Thor, you speak kitty. Ask them who feeds them?"

PF2 Playtest Character

It's been a while since I've done this, so correct me if I'm wrong. Assurance Medicine to auto-succeed the DC20 check for 2d8+10. Since Dran'Thor healed Bair with primal magic and not divine magic, Mortal Healing changes that 2d8+10 into 4d8+10. And if I spend an hour treating Bair instead of 10 minutes, that's doubled?

4d8 + 10 ⇒ (8, 4, 8, 5) + 10 = 35 x 2 = 70

PF2 Playtest Character

When Jydno moves to butcher the Golem, Thorax reluctantly sighs and shakes his head.

"Too many preservatives and dyes. Organic better."

As they move through the hallways, Thorax is constantly twitchy when a wire moves or a note plays. Been long time since played music.

And when they reach the rainbow puzzle, he scrunches his face at the task. "Rainbow obvious. Probably not trap. Maybe secret door entrance."

Thievery (M): 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (16) + 18 = 34

PF2 Playtest Character

Thorax joins in the slog, quickdrawing his dogslicer and targeting the giant's ankles.

"Just so Thorax understand... This giant stitched together... Out of meat? Why not every evil castle have one of these??"

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17 (vs flat-footed)

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 16 - 4 = 13 (vs flat-footed)

+1 Striking Shifting Dogslicer : 1d20 + 16 - 8 ⇒ (4) + 16 - 8 = 12 (vs flat-footed)

WOW

PF2 Playtest Character

Funny thing: during the Playtest, Thorax had Cat Fall, but he clearly doesn't now =/

"Good thing Goblins known for being bouncy."

Thorax clicks the heels of his Boots of Bounding before performing a Quick Jump, landing 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 9 + 2 = 23 feet closer to the battle (and squarely on his face).

He then stands, licks the blood off his nose, and closes into melee.

PF2 Playtest Character

"YEOUCH!!"

◈◈ Thievery (M): 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (7) + 18 = 25

If that's not enough, reroll for 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (2) + 18 = 20

Battle Medicine: 2d8 + 15 ⇒ (6, 5) + 15 = 26

PF2 Playtest Character

"Hey Dran'Thor! Stand over here and your beard will get all frizzy!"
