Enter the character's gender and race in the appropriate spaces and you are done. What I am really looking for is a character's: AC (all three), CMD, hp (current and max), saves, speed, initiative modifier, reactive skill modifiers (perception, sense motive, spellcraft, and knowledges (you can put all your character's skills in if you like and they'll fit. I just like to have quick access to the ones I might have to roll). Beyond that it is helpful to keep some space for conditions (inspired, blessed, poisoned, staggered, etc....) and space for daily use/charged items, and abilities you use most frequently (wand charges, arcane bond, class abilities like channeling, or spell slots, etc...). If there are any other notes you feel are important (bonus to a specific sort of save, darkvision, etc...) just include it where it seems most logical (as Example 2 above). If your character's crib notes don't all fit in the Classes/Levels space you can always add some of the info to the Race, and Gender spaces. There is not a lot of space so the fewer colons, commas, periods, and (God's forbid!) text tags ([-b-], [-ooc-], etc...) you add, the more space you will have for what's important. I still include commas between skills because it looks right to my eye and doesn't take much space, but that's just me. Results may vary, but please do try to at least to include the minimums listed above, it saves me a lot of time hunting around for numbers and abilities. Important Note About Organizing your Subheader Info: The text in the fields that do appear under your character's name in the gameplay thread do so in the following order: Gender, Race, Classes/Levels. This becomes important if you should ever get to a point where you fill up all the available text space on the Class/Level line and need to reallocate some of the text to the Race and Gender spaces. These are the only three fields that appear in your character's sub-header in the Gameplay threads. Please try to keep this stuff (particularly hp) up-to-date (like in Example 3 below). Example 3 Female Elf Bard 2 | AC 15 T 12 FF 13 | CMD 13 | hp 11/13 (4 nonleth) | F +0 R +5 W +6 (+8 v enchant) | Spd 30' | Init +2 | KnHis +6, KnLoc +6, KnRel +6, Kn Other +2, Perc +8, SensM +7 (+9 read social situation) | performance 5/8 | spells lvl1 2/3 | clw wand 44/50 | fatigued, inspired "Stay thirsty my friends." ~The World's Most Interesting GM Most Interesting-isms:

The World's Most Interesting Sign Up Sheet (Interestingly enough, not currently active.) Map Problems?:
Sometimes folks have trouble with the maps.
One common solution to this is to download the Google Slides app to the device you are having the problem on. Most smart phones let you see the image of the map (making you think you have Google Slides already installed) but do not actually allow you to zoom in, or edit it without the app. Installing the app fixes this problem (100% of the time so far). Failing that it would be better to tell the table that you are having issues with the map, ask for help moving your icon when needed and describe where you want your character to end up. Then just thank whomever moved your PC's icon. For any other problems or questions just contact your friendly neighborhood GM. Stay thirst my friend. Round 1! (Theme ♬)

GM Tealk from Gameplay wrote: So i have a problem, because everyone waits for Telos to take his action before everyone else can make theirs because of Burning Hands. So, i will change people's positions, accordingly...how do you think we can avoid this in the future? Well, there's a more formalized block initiative, where only the bold may act! Example 1 of the way I use it wrote:
If someone acts I unbold them. Then after all the PCs in bold, and the NPCs, take their turns, I'll bold the next PC block in the initiative order and they can take their turns (example 2). Example 2 wrote:
When the following round (round 2 in this case) begins I either keep the same pattern as above (quicker PCs, NPCs, slower PCs) or start lumping groups together where viable (Example 3) so that the rounds can proceed quicker. In this case PC 5's and 6's actions are counted as already taken (because they just did), and everyone else in the round gets to go. When round 3 begins all the PCs start bold in one block and play proceeds from there. Example 3 wrote:
You can do this because technically initiative is a rotating chain of turns. The only thing you have to keep track of are distinctly timed events like spell and effect durations (like inspire courage). Usually, I will include a note about those effects and when they began in with my initiative block posts along with other group effects like bless just to remind people that the buff exists (see example 3). The video game battle music is of course optional. ;) EDIT Who am I kidding? No, it's not.
