Maybe the hivemind can answer this for me? The Wall of Stone spell description says that each 5 foot by 5 foot section has 15 hp per inch of thickness. All the walls in the environment section are based on 10 foot by 10 foot sections. What is the best way to reconcile these?

I just noticed that the Office stats do not have an earnings section. It seems wrong to me. Was that intentional or a mistake?

I was thinking about this too. If you hire a manager, shouldn't the manager contribute to the rolls for gaining capital? It seems that they always have ranks in an appropriate skill, and they are in your employ, so shouldn't their skill ranks be added to the roll?

I was picturing it as a permanent shield spell type effect (minus the immunity to magic missile) with a variable bonus. Not unlike Bracers of Armor is essentially a permanent mage armor spell. Bracers seemed like the correct slot for a defensive item.

Lets say that I want to create "Bracers of Shield" to give my wizard a shield bonus to his AC. How would this be priced? As with any other AC bonus, I would assume that it would work on the bonus squared scale. But what would the price modifier be? In the rules it states that "Other" bonuses have a price modifier of 2500, resulting in a cost of 10,000. That seems a bit high since the Ring of Force Shield (which gives a +2 shield bonus) has a cost of 8500. What are your thoughts?

So, I've just read through this entire thread. I had always believed that it was each heightened level increases the spell slot necessary. gniht, you've convinced me otherwise. It seems to me (now) that the purpose of the Heighten Spell Feat (primarily) is to increase the DC of of spells that you would otherwise be preparing in higher level spell slots anyway (be it because you are applying other meta magic feats, or you simply needed an additional casting of the spell).

On page 212 of UCamp, under the construction heading, "At the GM's discretion, construction magic (such as lyre of building, fabricate, or wall of stone) can reduce a single building's BP cost by 2 (minimum 0)." So, the (optional rule) to use it for kingdom building is already taken care of. For Downtime, maybe a simple rule, " A lyre of building can be used to provide half the labor costs used in construction. If so used, it reduces the time to construct a room/building by half as well." My reasoning being that the lyre can be used as unskilled labor, but some skilled labor must be used as well. But because it produces a disproportionate amount of unskilled labor, that can be used to speed up construction.
