Thadeaus jerks and then groans as movement comes back into his body. He sees Karina looking down at him and follows her eye to the wound. Staring intently at the wound he throws out suggestions about what it might be.

Thadeaus tries to heal Jinath of his wounds.

Thadeaus reloads his wands into his wrist sheaths and pulls out an extract.

Thadeaus, you’ll need to make a UMD check to activate the wand (unless there’s something hiding in your character sheet that says otherwise). Healing for Jinath also required a UMD check.

I have CLW on my spell/extract list so I assumed I could use the wand of CLW. I can do UMD for the MM Wand that's fine

I healed Jinath for 6 with my CLW wand before this combat started so his total should only be -13

Thadeaus takes aim at the Phantom Armour with his wand of MM and lets fly!

Thadeaus feels the compulsion of the foul creature descend upon him, but shake him head and yells,

He extends his wand of CLWs to Jinath and cures him for,

Thadeaus double moves forward.

Thadeaus moves forward yelling information about the zuvembie! He also extends his wand of Magic Missle and hits the yellow zombie!

Thadeaus flicks his other wrist and his wand of CLW drops into his hand. Stepping forward he to his friend X he asks,

”May I?”

Upon confirmation he heals for,

Thadeaus points his wand at the other Skeleton and fires!

Thadeaus shouts to his companions! Then he flicks his wrist and fires two notes of magical energy at the closest Skeleton!

Thadeaus looks at the lay of the land trying to find a Ford.

Thadeaus looks around for traps and general information about his surroundings.

Thadeaus studies the hill side and examines the rock strata.

Following Heron’s eye he agrees and then points out a slightly shorter and safer route.

I would like the healing sacrifice as well.

”I agree with our friend Marqej, I think we should try and infiltrate past as many foes as we can! It worked well for us in the swamps.”

I vote healing as well!

I am leaving on a cruise tomorrow! I have limited internet while onboard but I have never used it before so I will try to keep up my posting.

Thadeaus breaths a cone of fire at the seed pod angled so it misses Xantanax!

Thadeaus looks closely at the seed pod.

He then quaffs an extract and moves across the log onto the island and to the left of the sinister seed pod.

acrobatics w/insp: 1d20 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (9) + 6 + (5) = 20

Thadeaus flicks his wrist bring his Wand of Magic Missiles to hand and pointing at the pulsing pod of putrefaction he sends two motes of magical energy streaking into it!

Thadeaus takes the drink gratefully and contrary to his prim exterior throws his head back and downs the ale in record time finishing with a large long and satisfied sounding belch!

"Well that his the spot! Hmm I taste a hint of orange peel, wheat and of course hops! Delightful!"

Following his companions he spies the female in and in a low voice says to the others,

"If we have to put her down, put her down hard and with extreme violence! She is no shrinking violtet but of half orc stock Im sure of it! She will fight with unparalleled ferocity and won't quit once battle is joined!"

Seeing the Spirits are still with them he looks at one of the trees sees magic coalescing around it perhaps we could use it to our advantage!

spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 + 1d6 ⇒ (20) + 8 + (1) = 29

That should extend the range of our portals to 120ft!

Moving to the tree ahead of him Thadeaus asks the Spirits to open a portal between and the other closest to the log to the island then motions to his companion to come on and steps through!

I should have enough action economy for that if not please place me where you think correct.

Thadeaus sees where Maqej is going with his idea and attempts to craft braces as well under the stairs allowing the group to quickly ascend!

Thadeaus looks for a path through the brambles.

Thadeaus watches the glittering bird shoot up the cliff face, and sighs in exacerbation, looks at Grimpfkin and says,

"Climbing is really more a test of Strength, unless one is a monkey!"

Never the less Thedeaus spits in his hands and attempts to scale the cliff as quickly as he can!

After about three feet he hits a loose spot and come back to earth in a scattering of pebbles.

"Perhaps one of you could show me the path or perhaps scamper up and through down a rope?"

He says to the others while dusting his hands and checking for cuts.

Thadeaus quickly moves to the ravine and the logs crossing it, he yells to Heorn,
”Not that one this one!””
As he nimbly scampers across the log!

”Why not do both?” But I will go along with Maqej, if we are swift enough we should have time to flex our muscles!”

Thadeaus says stepping forward.

Thadeaus looks again at the angry face now that there is more light and adresses it,

"Surely your anger is misplaced spirit, for we just arrived in this blighted wood and are here to help those caught here in! Perhaps you could direct us to the cause of your anger and this disturbance in the wood for I think it could be one in the same!

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

Having looked at the angry face and sensing nothing of its motives, he moves on to the peaceful and laughing ones.

sense motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

The dim light really seems to be affecting his insights so he pulls out his ioun torch.

His is always good for me on miss chances, sorry!

Thadeaus offers to use their healing wands on any of his companions if they need it. Since he wasn't hit, if no one help with healing he begins to study the faces trying to discern their motives.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

The flickering faces and subdued light makes it hard for him pick up their tells.

Thadeaus reloads his crossbow with another cold iron bolt and fires at the red wolf once again!

ATK w/studied strike: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 -4 firing in to melee off set by his -2 AC from the charge should still net me a 20!

Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 96

DAM: 1d8 ⇒ 7

Thadeaus who had his crossbow loaded and in studies the closest wolf not in melee and looses a bolt at it!

ATK w/Studied Strike: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Taking the Heron and Karina by the shoulder he says,

”I believe this is the past companions! This way if you please.”

Seeing the Dwarf turn and wave the wine skin at him Thadeaus strides the last few feet quickly and snatching the skin up ends it sending a long stream into his open mouth. Wiping his mouth on his sleeve he lets out a sigh and returning the skin to his new friend he says,

”Very good of you old boy and well met! Thadeaus Grimm, late of the Lepistadt University in Ustalav, at your service!”

A tall, spare, Taldorian man wearing spectacles, a buff coat and and silk cravat around his neck quickly gathers his equipment off the pack horses and raising a finger he shouts,

"Friends, FRIENDS! I just need a few more seconds to...."

Seeing most have already disappeared into the forest, he mutters to himself,

"OH DRAT! Well I should be able to catch the dwarf up at least. FRIEND DWARF! Allow me to walk with you?"

Acro w/Insp: 1d20 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (13) + 6 + (4) = 23

Shouldering his pack, he gets his crossbow in hand and with inexplicable agility for his size scampers onto the trail the Dwarf has broken.

Thank you all for making my first ever Pbp game AWESOME! While some of you may think you had the wrong characters, they were fun to play with and we completed our mission just fine.

Thadeaus shakes his head and then wiggles a finger in each ear trying to get the ringing to stop. Staggering slightly he flees down the tunnel with the others drawing his wand as he goes.

Thadeaus following his feathered friend to the pig gods room rounds the corner just in time to see Kahwen reach out to grasp the glowing green statue!
He yells, "Kahwen Don't!

The feathered hand closes around the idol, seemingly triggering rips to occur in the temporal and physical fabric of the room!

"Well now you've done it! Quickly everyone, follow our felonious feathered friend!"

He makes haste after Kahwen waving the others down the corridor.

Thadeaus steps forward wiping his brow and says,

"Your King has ordered us and sent us with his blessing to get you and the secrets of your master forging to safety! If it is your will to disobey your King then at least impart your secrets to friend Balin here so they are not lost to the ages! That way if you should fall your legacy and legend may go on!"

Diplomacy w/ Insp: 1d20 + 8 + 1d6 ⇒ (19) + 8 + (5) = 32

Thadeaus exclaims as he follow the others up the tunnel.

Thadeaus nods so hard his glasses almost come off and says, ”I agree with Yanda lest us make a tactical withdrawal team mates!”
Then loudly to the Magma Elementalin Ignan, ”Go your way Core Swimmer and we shall go ours! Fare thee well!”

He then puts action to his words and withdrawals!
