I don’t understand. I ended my movement outside of the circle and darkness on purpose so I would not take damage. The circle is pretty ill-defined. Otherwise I would have run in and attacked in melee for additional damage.

GM Hawthwile |

Jinath, I think it's only the Bite that counts as all three, and Claws are Slashing/Piercing.

**OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT**
The combined Pathfinder and Twinhorn forces have beaten back the worst of Eshimka’s vanguard, and their spellcasters are hard at work repairing the damage around the planar rift. It seems there is at last a lull when a pair of blade-like arms stab through the rift and tear it wider. The wound releases a wave of negative energy that crashes into the mystics’ wards, though the shock causes the trees for hundreds of feet around to wither, their limbs snapping off and turning to ash before hitting the ground. Through the widened rift steps a towering giant with sinister horns, shaking the ground with every step as her army follows her: vampires, towering suits of armor, hungry corpses, and even a powerful dragon! Medda’s shout carries over the din. “Eshimka is here! Strike now!”
The giant laughs thunderously as it regards the mortals around it and tears of pieces of her own flesh that turn into nightmarish beasts. “The living are no match for my might. Spread out, and reduce every one of these mortals to dust!”
Table GMs, please begin the encounter Eshimka’s Assault.

GM Hawthwile |

Indeed it is! No time to heal though.
The party has a choice now - there are two sets of creatures nearby that could attack. One is a collection of undead and creatures from the Negative Plane, the other is a piece of Eshimka that is a more difficult challenge.
First choice with three votes moves the party.

Then it is decided. If there is time, we can face the piece of Eshimka as well.
The Pathfinders are pushed back from the circle of stones, but they do not suffer the same fate as the withered forest. From the widened rift, a large suit of pitch-black armor wielding a heavy flail shakes the ground with ponderous steps. Behind it trail three vaguely-humanoid creatures scrambling on all four limbs.

I'll wait for clarification from Xantanax - his token had only moved 20 ft, which would be consistent with a double-move through difficult terrain. Since the terrain is not difficult, he could move a total of 40 ft with a double move. Since this is highly irregular given the visible map terrain, I'd like to make sure there wasn't a misunderstanding.
Unfortunately, neither Xantanax nor Maqej have ranks in Knowledge (religion) to identify the creatures.

GM Hawthwile |

As I've stated before, please wait until your turn in initiative to post your actions. Also, there is a large standing stone preventing Jinath from charging to the target position and a charge must go the the closest square to strike an opponent (which currently is occupied by Xantanax). Please repost your actions with these factors in mind.

Bludgeoning damage, PA: 2d8 + 7 + 3 ⇒ (4, 2) + 7 + 3 = 16
...but a rusty joint causes the armor to freeze mid-swing for a second, completely killing the strike's momentum.
The large suit of armor is actually giant phantom armor, animated by dark forces. It is is immune to the same things as most undead, and for some reason the thick armor helps the animating force within withstand channeled energy more effectively.
Knowledge (religion): 1d20 + 8 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 8 + (3) = 16
These smaller creatures are festrogs, harbingers of disease. Any slashing or piecing weapon that damages a festrog squirts puslike fluids onto the attacker from the boils on its back, exposing them to disease agents that cause painful necrotic boils over time. Festrogs also feed on their opponents - when they bite a creature, they gain temporary hitpoints from consuming its flesh.

Jinath knows a thing or two about charging and easily dodges the festrog's attack, but Xantanax's attention is focussed on the armor and he is surprised to find himself on his back with a howling creature chewing on his leg.
From off in the distance, a booming laughter fills the air. Eshimka's gaze falls to the stone circle, and she raises a bladed arm to the sky. Darkness swirls and pools, gathering into a form she can easily hurl at the Pathfinders - but there is still time to foil her attack!
Eshimka's impending attack can be thwarted with:
- Dealing damage with ranged attack or spell (standard action) - treat her as 30 ft away for calculating ranges/effects/etc.
- Bluff (standard action)
A screech fills the air - this one less painful than Eshimka's laughter - as a fierce drake takes to the skies. "Pathfinders!" he roars, "you do not fight alone! Where am I needed?" He floats above the battlefield, waiting to for a call to aid.
The drake gives the table a use of Allied Offensive from the Aid Token. If you want to use it, give a whistle or a wave and he'll swoop down to deal extra damage and cause your target to be flanked until your next turn!

It is the stupidest thing and I will quite likely die grumpy about it, but investigators are missing the language that alchemists have stating alchemists can use spell-trigger and spell-completion devices without checks. My investigator was in the middle of a dungeon module when he found out, so I feel your pain. And as much as I would change it in a homegame, rules are rules in PFS.
