Sorry I was MIA. Alan moves to square of the skeleton just killed by Vindler and attacks the final skelly. No power attack. horsechopper: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Dang. Low damage roll. Only 2 damage got through. The slashing weapon glanced off the skeleton's bones, doing little damage.

Yay combat reflexes! Turning off power attack this round. AoO on Skeleton to the east: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
AoO on Skeleton to the west: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Assuming that crushes the skeleton to the east, Alan steps 5 feet to the northeast and targets the pesky skeleton to the north. Horsechopper: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Alan studies each of the carvings thoughtfully. "This first one seem to show a farmer plowing his field." "The second one looks like someone fighting a snake-like creature." "I can't tell what this next one is depicting." "This last one shows someone sewing a long blanket or something." Turing to the group with a puzzled look, Alan asks, "I wonder what these images mean?"

Alan looks through the items. "If no one objects," he says, "I'll take the Wand of Burning Hands, Acid and Alchemist Flasks." Alan studies the pit for a moment. What is the object in the water? Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 Moving back 10 feet, Alan takes a running start and attempts to clear the pit. Take 10 in acrobatics for a 14 to jump over the pit. He peers down the passageway upon barely clearing the obstacle. Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 Not seeing anything significant, he turns back towards the group and says, "Toss a rope over here and I'll find an anchor point."

know(nature): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Alan, not hearing Vindler, 5' steps to the northeast and yells, "What are those! There's so many...almost like a swarm of something!" He pulls out an acid flask and readies to toss it if they get within 10 feet. acid flask: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

Alan looks at Anthys dumbly. "Well, I figured since I was the one that did that to him, I should do what I can," he said with a sheepish smile.

Alan struggled with the inscriptions. "Failed to maintain the sixteen poses? Lived a long life of silence and serenity? Aren't these supposed to be Pathfinders who died in the course of duty? These don't seem very impressive." He tries to compare these particular inscriptions with the others. Do these stand out in terms of tone or deed? Trying to identify a pattern here. "Perhaps it is wise to consult with someone more experience."

I noticed I'm inside on the map. I can't move my icon for some reason. Can you move me back to just outside by the door? Alan is paranoid now. Staying outside, he peeks his head in and scans the room, including ducking to peek under the sofa, looking for signs of trouble and disbelieving everything he sees. perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
He believes everything!

"An illusion huh?" Alan muses as he looks at Vindler. "Perhaps this door is not really here." He walks up to the front door and stares intently at it. perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
"Yep, it's a door alright."

"Hmmm. That's weird. It seems he hasn't been home in quite awhile," Alan muses as he looks around the outside of the house. Survival to find tracks?: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
