I was looking at the hardcover version of Curse of the Crimson Throne, specifically at the Castle Korvosa map and I noticed something strange. There doesn't appear to be any servant's quarters. Unless I am missing something, there is no space at all for the support staff.

Since I intend to run this AP soon, and want a more intrigue heavy campaign, I was going to involve the castle more early on. I though about carving out some quarters in the first floor, but maybe there is something better that I can do.

The pending charge for this order on my bank account has disappeared. Is there a problem with my order?

Male Human Commoner 2

Instructions- if you did not create your account as your character, create an alias for your character and post in the campaign using that.

This thread is to roleplay together outside the normal session, and for me to provide important information.

Male Human Commoner 2

Mainly just a test but might turn into a supplement for a face-to-face campaign

For some time now, I have been picking at some of the perceived weaknesses in the fighter class, and have come up with an idea to "fix" them, without breaking the archetypes. My proposal is to give fighters "techniques", similar to rogue talents, but with a more martial approach. These are not intended to be damage boosters, but ways to give fighters the tools needed to contribute in more situations.

Fighter Techniques

As noted in the document, these abilities are meant to all be Extraordinary, to preserve the mundane aspect of the class. Also, they should be usable whenever the fighter needs to.

For my next campaign, I will be using the Armor as Damage Reduction and Wounds and Vigor variant rules. Is there anywhere I can find a character sheet designed with those rules in mind? I've searched this site as well as Pathfinder Database and haven't found anything. I could try to design one myself, but I don't really know how or have the proper tools to do so.

Can anybody help me?

I have tried to apply the qinggong monk idea to the ranger, taking his spellcasting and giving him a number of potential powers to use. In order to fuel these powers, he takes trophies from his kills (though he doesn't necessarily have to get the killing blow). I was hoping for some feedback on the powers I've selected and also the name... Trophy-Taker is too close to the Trophy Hunter from UC.

For a while, I've thought crossbows needed some love, but I didn't think of a way to do it until now.

Crossbow Rules

This is just the first draft of them, and I'm open to ideas.

Based on an off-hand comment made in one of my games, I got to wondering what system would be the best modern day, non sci-fi, non fantasy RPG?

*points at the components line* Where's the barrel?

If for example a character had both Hamatula Strike (which allows a grapple check immediately after hitting someone with a piercing weapon) and Mighty Charge which allows a free bull rush, disarm, sunder or trip combat maneuver after a charge, would he be able to do both or have to choose one?

If a Medium character were wielding a Large reach weapon, such as a large guisarme (character has the oversized limbs variant tiefling feature from Bastards of Erebus) what would his reach be?

Recently I have been making up a Dark Folk cult to put in my homebrew and while Dark Creepers and Dark Stalkers are fine upstanding examples of Dark Folkness, I was wondering if there are more Dark Folk being put into the Bestiary 2?

I am about to houserule that Vital Strike works with any single attack made on your turn, wanting to increase the power of martial types but not hand something to casters that would be broken.

Can anybody think of a spell that having just Vital Strike would break? By my wording, it will not work on Scorching Ray or any that strikes more than one target, but I want to make sure before I allow it to work with spells.

I am looking for a site I can use to upload my PDF versions of the Pathfinder books so my players can see and use them, but not download. I tried Google Docs for this, but it can't convert the files so they have to download them. The few it did convert are unreadable.

It needs to be free and most likely not require an account to view the PDFs. I know there is the d20pfsrd and similar sites, but they aren't up to date entirely. (I might be wrong, if somebody corrects me on this, that would be excellent, but I haven't seen the APG feats on d20pfsrd.)

I've been interested in playing in a PBP game for some time. I'm willing to play just about any class or role, very interested in role play.

Can a caster create a wand of a metamagiced spell? I'm building a BBEG caster who would have crafted a wand of Extended Mage Armor that he uses each morning.

If the woodchuck was a Human Commoner 1?

My group just defeated an evil Baron and have been named the co-administrators of the barony until the King chooses a replacement Baron. This will take two months in-game time and until then, I want the party to deal with rebuilding the barony which has been neglected for some time.

Of course I do not want them to have to use their personal wealth to do so, after all not even five 5th level WBLs could repair bridges, finish roads, recruit and rearm the guard to proper levels, etc etc.

So they need to use the treasury of the barony as well as collect taxes etc and I realized that I needed to figure out how much iron could be pulled out of an iron mine, how much wood could be cut down in a day by how many people. I do not see in anything I have checked so far how to figure that.

I know the Profession skill states that you can make half your check in gold per week, but would that actually represent how much value was actually mined or chopped or farmed or whatever?

For the evil campaign I am DMing for one of my groups I have been attempting to implement mass combat. However my two attempts up to this point have been... not disastrous but overwhelming with the amount of dice rolling and HP tracking. So I came up with what I believe could be a fun system with low paperwork and little dice rolling.

Minions and Groups

Please take a look and let me know what you think, also please feel free to ask for clarification of anything. I'll be using these rules this coming Sunday for the first time and will be refining them after that.

Just today I was standing at the bus stop outside my FLGS and I noticed the gas station across the street was called Valero. Made me smile.

Also, not far from there is a dry cleaner called Sauro's Dry Cleaner. Didn't realize that Dark Lords needed second jobs too.

Anybody else notice weird things like that?

I was thinking this morning about a Trait or Feat for Oracles and wanted some discussion on it.

Child of the Gods
Your life has been claimed by not one but two of the forces at work in the world. You select two Curses and two Focuses at first level. You take both the benefits and penalties of both. At levels where you would improve either, you may only advance one of the two.

*shrug* Have at it.

I'm making a Demon Slayer type character, starting with levels in Ranger for the Favored Enemy Bonus then moving to Cleric. Two feats I was considering were Channel Smite and Alignment Channel. However, Channel Smite says specifically that if I channel positive energy and hit an undead creature it takes damage. Does that mean that Alignment Channel wouldn't allow me to smite with Channel Smite against an evil outsider?

My newest character, for a CotCT campaign took the Missing Son or Daughter trait at creation. During the fight with Lamm, he fell into the crocodile pit and basically landed face first into the barely recognizable remains of his son. The roleplaying part of my character (a Human Fighter) said that he had spent months searching in vain, becoming depressed and a raging alcoholic (which won't change... we have a Dwarf Cleric of Cayden Cailean who has Create Beer as an orison...) and he has now suffered an immense emotional shock to his already messed up mind.

So I want to multi-class him to Fighter/Barbarian, however I want to flip-flop between the two as periods of lucidity and insanity wash over him. My question is if his alignment has a big change during his periods of lucidity (Chaotic Neutral to Neutral Good), does he lose his Barbarian powers? It doesn't say in the book, but for classes that DO lose powers for alignment changes or whatever it says so.

Is it possible for a Paladin to worship a LN god and remain LG?

In my years poking around the Internet I've made friends with a few people around the US and around the world. One or two have expressed interest in playing D&D but don't have people around them they know who play. I mentioned the crazy idea of somehow putting together a group that plays online, and it was taken well. My only problem is I'm not sure how to go about doing it.

Does anybody know how I can go about playing Pathfinder with my online friends?
