Sun smiles at the progress being made. If you will forgive me but I have some important spirit world stuff I gotta take care of. with that Sun politely excuses himself and heads outside. Once outside he finds a quiet, out of the way spot and soon is in statue form.
Sun smiles at the young firebird girl. It actually makes more sense than you think, at least to me. And as far as being "good" you are doing just fine. You have a much nicer heart than you probably realize. Looking to Lang as he finishes, Lang sees that as well, thats why he is trying to be your friend. besides you two may have more in common than you think.
As Phaedra sits beside Sun he pulls out a small charcoal brickette and hands it to her. Lang made sure I always had one of these for Ignace. You can have this one. after a brief pause, he's not that bad. A little weird at times, but overall, he's ok. As they watch, Lang's form improves greatly.
"What is he doing?" she asked imperiously. She had decided to go for a walk since Ignace was still with her family and that left her without any other playmates. Sun looks to the young girl watching, his face covered in powdered sugar. practicing his forms. If he is to master all the elements he will have to be able to use these forms in various combinations to protect himself as well as those around him. He takes another bite of a danish, something is off today. his form is weak, he is not concentrating. whatever is on his mind he best get things straight if he intends to complete his purpose.
Sun is not far off from Lang but he has his arms full of various pastries and goodies he managed to get. taking a seat nearby, watching Lang practice. But he notices something is off, Lang seems to be moving slower, and he is making several mistakes as he practices. This has gotten Sun;s attention and he concentrates on watching him even more. but does not interfere, at least not yet.
"Lunch. Lunch is what we're up to." Sun nudges Grim whispering to him, be polite he then heads over to vis, Hello Vis, I am Sun, I am Lang's, ahhh, guardian Sun is a simple talking baboon.
Hearing Gareth's name Sun comes over, I remember meeting a boy by that name. he was speaking another language to some bird thing, Viskra was her name, i believe.
Sun spent the last week with Sara in the younger classroom, doing his best to stay out of trouble, but still finding it nonetheless. there was the chalk incident, then there was the mac and cheese fiasco, and who could forget the red lipstick disaster. In any event, despite the hiccups along the way, Sun proved to be a decent helper in the classroom. He spent lots of time with Sara and always looked forward to lunch in the garden with lang.
Sun puts a hand on her shoulder and smiles assuredly Lang does trust you. more than you probably know. and he hopes you have the same trust in him. as for the demo, if you are not comfortable, then we will not mention it any further.
Sun looks at Midori rather curiously, Sure. I guess. Sun ponders a moment. you are correct, Lang probably does not fully understand what a gift like that means. and I know that he wanted to give you something special. a weapon is something he saw you prized. he also trusts you to use that weapon wisely.Lang does not use weapons, except for his staff, but he knows that weapons are a part of the world. they are a tool that can be used for good as well as evil. If the time ever came that such a weapon is needed, you would be there to stand by his side. he trusts you. as far as weapons being allowed, one thing that is important to note, this temple does train its monks in the use of weapons, including swords and spears. only those that are skilled in their use will be carrying such a weapon, lang believes you are skilled enough. wear that blade with honor. you are a guest of Lang, none here will question or challenge you. Sun hope that he has explained everything but then suddenly as a side note Oh, would you want to put on a demonstration of your skills? I can be sure it is arranged.

Sun goes to see one of the other monks and talks to him briefly. The other monk hands Sun pouch and another object wrapped in black silk. Sun returns, I got them right here. he hands the two items to Lang.
Sun looks at her an smiles, There is no need to pick right away, and all three will have a good home. but one of them will be your personal responsibility, well as long as you are here. Sun moves to help Sara out of the nest, well at least indicating that it is time to go.
Since you ae considered a part of the family, one of these owls will become yours, to raise and care for. much like Simba is to Lang. Lang wanted you choose one of Simba's babies since they too are considered family.
Sara was playing with the three baby owls they each seem to have thier own personality. the first seems to keep getting into some sort of mischief. The second seems a little shy, and needs a little prodding to get close The third just seems to always like to eat. and keeps pecking at Sara looking for food. (not attacking but more curiosity). Sun looks to Sara, Lang said for you to choose a favorite.
Sun leads Sara across the bridge to a huge nesting area for the Giant owls. This is one of three nesting areas of our temple. Lang wanted me to bring you to this one in particular because this is where he first met Simba. Taking Sara's hand Come on there is something special you need to see. Sun takes Sara through the huge nesting area, which is home to about 2 dozen owl families. there are maybe a dozen or so monks here as well, tending to the owls but they pretty much keep to their work. eventually Sun leads her to a nest with three baby owls in it. Simba is there watching over them. Simba does not hinder their approach, but does watch them. looking to Sara, go ahead, you may get closer, pet them even if you want, they are Simba's babies. Sun urges Sara to approach the nest. all three baby owls hop about in the nest. anxious to meet someone new.
Sun looks to Sara, He will be just fine. Sun seems to be keeping a secret from Sara. but he tries to keep her distracted by taking her around the Temple to a long narrow stone bridge. In the air Sara sees several giant Owls flying about. In the distance, across the bridge there is what appears to be a huge stone bird house of sorts, with several owls perched there. Come on, this is the special place Lang wanted you to see. Sun tries to guide Sara across the bridge. don't look down, its a very long way down.
Sun looks at the master, and then turns to Sara, he says, when the time is right, he will see you agin. and until then he wishes you well with your new family. Sun turns to the Master, Huh? Ok, I promise. Sun nods and takes Sara's hand, Come on, Lang asked me to make sure you see something.
The Master smiles at her and laughs, as he makes more hand symbols. Sun translates, he understands, but was wondering, who is your new mama?
Sun watches him and nods, looking back to Sara, He says that if you wish to learn and become his student, He will gladly accept you. after some more hand motions, Sun continues, he says you remind him of his daughter. she looked allot like you.
backing away, the man nods to Sun. and smiles at Sara. he turns so his back is to Sara, and takes a stance. he glances back waiting for her to follow. Sun comes up to Sara, whispering in her ear. He asks you to follow his movements. but you don't have to if you don't want to. giving her a chance to respond, before Sun continues, It is very rare that Master Zhang Hong offers to teach. there must be something special he sees in you. Sun adds
Sun looks like he is in a little bit of pain at Sara's grip.
Sun looks at the man Sara is looking at, oh, that is Master Zhang Hong, He does not speak much and is said to be over 100 years old. rumor is, he was Master that taught Master Hito.
The lunch at the Temple continues. and soon the meal is finished. Sun arrives to escort Sara around the Temple but first drops off a a long object wrapped in cloth to Lang. Sun escorts Sara to many areas of the temple showing her where the monks reside, the practice grounds where several young monks are practicing their martial arts forms. After watching them for a bit Sara catches a lone man, he looks like a master based on how he is dressed. he practices his form on a stone balcony.
I am already ahead of you with that, just leave it to me. Sun says confident he has the task well in hand. That's what I'm afraid of. Lang says, rolling his eyes. relax, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Sun reassures Lang.
Back at the nesting area, Sun gathers the groups stuff that was left behind. recuiting several of his own animal friends to help. He is sure to grab Midori's weapon pouch himself. He quickly scurries across the bridge once everything is in order. Sun slips into Lang's room and drops of the pouch.
"Can't you turn into a rock and not see it?" <blink>....<blink> sudden revelation is in his eyes then Sun goes into statue form.
Sun climbs off, Sorry, I just don't do well with heights Sun looks a little embarrassed.
During the flight to the temple Sun had decided to ride with Grim. as they fly Sun takes a peek over the side and with a shock at how hight they are is suddenly VERY clingy to Grim. you can fly too right?

Sun gets really excited as he takes the muffin, almost forgetting his manners, which he doe remember after a stern reminder from Sara. Sun bows Thank you Sara
Sun wakes up stirring Sara awake. Time to rise, I think we will be leaving soon, here come the owls. Sun points as Chen and Lea guide out the three Owls from yesterday.

Sun is playing with Sara, but is also partially listening to the other conversations. Sun decides to stay with Sara at her request.

Sun asks are we going to teleport back to the school? he looks a little apprehensive about teleporting again.
Sun hugs Sara. Yeah I really don't like being zapped to different places, but Zilla needed help, and, well, I do a lot of stuff I normally wouldn't do to help my friends.
Sun runs up to the group approaching. Hello everyone, Something happened to Zilla, and this spirit person helped her. I thought you guys would be worried and we were brought here.
based on Sun's description the group arrives on a trail. just ahead is what appears to be a small village. the weather is a bit colder than at the school. past the village up a hill is what appear to be the tops of larger pagodas probably a temple of some sort. Sun looks around. They are probably up by the temple. Follow me Sun leads them through the village. many of the villagers seems to recognize Sun but keet a distance from the light being, probably out of uncertainty rather than fear. the village itself is not a very fancy place, almost every building is very simple and definately with purpose.
If I remember correctly they would be at the temple located in the village of Song Shan. It is east of here and should be easy to find. They are a village of beekeepers and produce a great assortment of honey with medicinal qualities. Sun paints a picture in his mind hoping that it can be understood. despite the constant "helpful input" provided he manages to get its location pretty much identified.

Sun's mind is not quite what you would expect. He is a spirit creature and as such, it is like he has more than one mind or spirit (not physically) he has the collective consciousness of nearly a hundred minds. each working as one mind. He seems to have a very strong connection to another plane, or another level of consciousness. Zilla? If I tell Lang you got hurt, he may want to come back here to make sure you are alright. and he may want to bring Hew. is that alright?
Sun looks to zilla, yeah, Esha, I like that too then Sun realizes what Zilla said, Wait, you said Hew killed you? but your not dead, and Hew is not here. I watched them fly off myself.
Sun is relieved that Zilla is alright. Should I try and get word to Lang? you know he would want to be sure you are alright. Sun was wandering the halls when he noticed a light from the infirmary. curious as ever Sun wanders in noticing some being of light or something. Are you a spirit? he asks approaching the being of light. but before he continues he sees Zilla. Hello Zilla. is everything alright? were you hurt?
Magic is right but they were on their way to the headmaster's office to see if someone was there.
Sun answers the little wizard but he is probably out of line a bit. Lang is away until tomorrow night, you can stay in his room, that's where I stay usually. it is nice and will work until you get an assigned room of your own. you can maybe room with us, and Grim, him and Lang are good friends and Grim is with Lang also. So I am alone in the room for now. Lang just smiles realizing he is rambling again
Sun glances toward his head. well it isn't any worse than Vriskra's slime, which of course i no longer mind much as it is actually kind of fun, or those crazy girls and their make-up. actually Vriskra's slime has been able to keep their lip stick form working on me. Sun holds out his hand to the little wizard boy, Lets start fresh, I am called Sun, I help take care of the younger students. go on outings, watch them while their parents or guardians need to be away, and play games with them. All while trying to teach them a life's lesson I am companion and friend, and, well, [/b] he seems at a bit a lost of words for a moment. mentor, yeah that's probably the best word, mentor, to Lang Fei, and his newly adopted little sister Sara, but I don't know if Lang has told her yet. probably will during the trip. they went back to our home in the eastern mountains. Sun awaits for the boy to introduce himself, and the snake thing on his head also.[/b]
