Hello!

Please cancel order #2940919; it is a pre-order, but I have decided not to purchase this product at this time. Thank you very much for your time, and I apologize for the inconvenience!

Noticed this article after one of my buddies linked to it. Seemed to ruffle a lot of feathers (even mine). Many decried it as slander against nerds/gaming, others believe it to be troll-bait, but I'm curious what people on the Paizo forums think about this.

Hello,

I was inquiring if you had a shipment status or any tracking for this order; it was shipped on the 11th of February to an APO/FPO address. I'm assuming that it's simply that our mail is slow at times over here, but I thought I'd follow up and see if something happened with it. Thank you for your time.

Please cancel order # 1344358 at this time. Had some last minute expenses come up, and I don't want to cancel my Pathfinder subscription order to pay for those. I apologize for the inconvienence.

Found this today on the WOTC forums. Gary M. Sarli (one of the developers of the Star Wars RPG SAGA edition) is proposing a new game system to be utilized in the mold of the Open Game License; a medium for third-party publishers to develop their own games/settings for any genre they choose, be that fantasy, horror, science fiction, etc.

The patronage project hopes to raise $10,000 USD by March 16th at 1259 AM EDT to build up this system. If anyone is interested, please check out the link below.

Edit: Fixed the link.

I was intrigued by one of the other threads mentioning a sword-and-planet style game that Erik Mona mentioned before. I think it would be a great idea. But what would everyone look for in that style of pen and paper RPG? Any ideas or suggestions for a Planet Stories RPG?

I've been waiting for a release of a sourcebook like this since... well, I guess since I beat the video game. Today being release day for both this and its respective minis set, my first stop was to B. Dalton. They didn't have a copy, but told me I can order one and receive it in about a week.

Okay, good to know, but it doesn't sate my appetite for this book. I go ahead and drive down to Roseville to Barnes and Noble. They don't have a copy either. Again, they offered to order one and I would receive it in a week.

At this point, I'm slightly disturbed, since both stores have SAGA products, all three of the previously released books. My final stop was to the competition, Borders, about ten blocks or so away. They... don't have one either. And they referred me to a dedicated gaming store that no longer exists.

The common factors of all three stores: none of them have the KOTOR book, none of them even ordered one on its release day. But what I did see tons of was the supposedly "highly-anticipated" merchandise of...<cue the Imperial March theme>... the Force Unleashed! And the Clone Wars. The novels, the artbooks, the visual guides, the coloring books (Clone Wars only), the Soundtrack (CW), etc. Tons of them! Displays upon displays of them!

Thus far, it seems to me that the KOTOR book was heavily, heavily overshadowed by the promotions of the evil George Lucas and his Lucasarts/Lucasbooks minions. I truly hope I'm the only with this opinion. Can anyone else confirm something similiar?

(I broke down and ordered one from Amazon; should be here by Friday.)

Hello,

I had some issues with funds in my account the day I received the initial shipping soon e-mail. I updated my CC information and verified funds with my bank, but I'm still showing that my subscription items are pending. I'm just curious to see if my items will be shipping sometime soon.

For anyone familiar with the old WEG d6 rules for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, we're searching for new players at the Star Wars Roleplaying club (www.starwarsclub.org)!

The club's timeline started during the Thrawn Trilogy and diverted from there with our own unique storyline and history. The present date is about 10 to 12 years after the Battle of Endor.

We're basically broken down into three factions: the New Republic, Empire, and Independents. Each has their own different branches, such as New Republic and Imperial Navy, Starfighter Corps, Stormtroopers, SpecForces, Bounty Hunters, Jedi Academy (and the Empire's Dark Jedi counterparts), Pirates, Mercenary Groups, etc.

If you're interested, check us out at our website, www.starwarsclub.org, and the SWCwiki link:
