Hello everyone. looking for a bit of advice but first lets get this out of the way. I know this isn't the "best" bloodrager ect. I am not looking for the best. If you came here to tell me not to play it please move on. To me optimizing is about making a concept work as best it can. Not about only playing whats the best.

So I am working on a spelleater build that has dumped AC. will only be wearing light armor so there is something to enchant not for AC.

So I am looking for ways to survive without AC. Here is what I have so far.

Raging vitality feat
Favored class bonus will be HP and toughness feat
Determination armor enchantment.
Ring of vengeful blood magic. (Vampiric touch as a AOO? Yes please.)
Ring of Regeneration
Ring of evasion (going to need hand of glory of course for 3 rings.)
Spell storing armor/weapon for vampiric touch as well.
Lunge and enlarge to keep enemies away as much as I can.
First aid gloves could be helpful here.
Runestones so he can munch some spells slots
Stoneskin spell of course.

Any other ideas on ways to not eat it with no AC? Also assume fast healer feat does NOT boost fast healing alright? Lets not argue about it here. Its just a no go for this build so leave it at that.

Now that its been confirmed that natural weapons work with spellstrike I have been kicking around the idea. Sadly the hair magus idea got the hammer by the same FAQ but ohh well. Moving on.

Now to start off this idea works under the assumption that a hexcrafer can take the hex strike feat. You might disagree and that's fine but its not the point of this topic.

So the idea I have had is a hexcrafer tiefling (with claws of course.) With hex strike/feral combat training .

Now already having feral combat training seems to me going with a style would be a given and boar style could help to fill in the damage loss a bit. This would of course work because spellcombat/strike combo would get you 2 or more attacks eben though you are only using the one claw.

The only issue I see is its feat heavy as all hell. A dip into monk or unarmed fighter seems to be a must. Then there is survivability. Dex based would be even more feat heavy and demand an agile AoMF. Str build would have very bad Ac at lower lvls and would have a hard time staying alive in melee.

Any thoughts or advice?

Simple question here as I can not seem to remember. Other then archaeologist bard are there any more archetypes that grant rogue talents to non-rogues?

"Alchemical Weapon (Su)

At 2nd level, a grenadier can infuse a weapon or piece of ammunition with a single harmful alchemical liquid or powder, such as alchemist’s fire or sneezing powder, as a move action. This action consumes the alchemical item, but transfers its effect to the weapon in question.

The alchemical item takes full effect on the next creature struck by the weapon, but does not splash, spread, or otherwise affect additional targets. Any extra damage added is treated like bonus dice of damage, and is not doubled on a critical hit. The alchemical treatment causes no harm to the weapon treated, and wears off 1 minute after application if no blow is struck. At 6th level, a grenadier can use her alchemical weapon ability as a swift action. At 15th level, this ability becomes a free action.

This ability replaces poison resistance."

So I am kicking around a PC idea and finding something a bit vague. This ability works with "harmful alchemical liquid or powder". And while both bombs and extracts would seem to fit that qualifier bother are left out of the example. This leads me to think it was not meant to work like that. But well as it is written it does not seem to exclude them.

On a side note has anyone toyed with the idea of a melee Grenadier before? Any thoughts there.

-edit- Make that question about bombs or potions. Of course extracts wont work they don't work if they leave his possession.

So one can of course deliver a held charge from a touch spell via natural weapons. This is not what the question is about.

Prehensile Hair states it is a limb and has the dexterity of a human hand. So it is like having another longer arm.

So can someone use it to deliver the free touch granted when casting a touch spell?

So I stumbled on the spell a couple days ago. Well I had looked at it before but did not pay it much mind for some reason.

Anyway this time in paying attention to the spell its a swift action that you cast then you strike, Note strike not attack. (seems there is no way to waste the spell which is nice.)

So my question is, is there any legit reason this can not be used with spell combat and spellstrike with another spell? Here let me give a breakdown.

Cast shocking grasp with spell combat.
Deliver shocking grasp with spell strike.
Take my next attack allowed with spell combat.
If that hits cast forceful strike.

I can not find anything that makes this not doable. As long as you have your swift action anyway. Thoughts?

EDIT- In fact it does not seem you even need spell combat. The free attack to deliver shocking grasp with spell strike is still a "Strike" and thous could be used to trigger forceful strike.

Hello everyone. Though I have been hanging around here for some time this is my first post.

To get stright to the point I love the pawns that are in the begginer box. I think they are a great option for those of us that can't afford allot of minis but get sick of useing stand ins. (green dragon in place of assasin vines anyone?) They are also a huge step above pog style tokens/pawns as they mix pretty well with standerd mines and pogs dont.

So my question is will they ever be sold on thier own? The ones from the box and maybe more sets to come later? This would be so nice for use budget gamers.

Also just to through it out there, Love the stuff you are doing Pazio. The Beginner Box is just awesome. Great way to get new players into the game.
