So this AP and Triumph of the Tusk will feature Gorums death?

Can we expect this AP being something like a cornerstone like Rise of the Runelords was with potentially some follow ups?

From all the news I expect that the death of Gorum will play into part 2 or 3 and PC will be able to get some mythic options later on.

Just wanted to thank Aaron Shanks thank you for all the great work you did for Paizo and Pathfinder. May your new endeavor be as rich and as rewarding as this one.

Solved, it would seem!

Thanks, teriffic!

Isn‘t the picture of the Intellect Devourer in the Bestiary 2 copyright protected? It was used for the new D&D movie poster.

Why does Jim have a plushie of the german company Ulisses on his shoulder?

If I recall correctly they are the official German language translators for Pathfinder. I think he mentioned in a post awhile back they sent him the custom plush as a gift.

Edit: I was correct

I did know the first part (I'm the admin for THE german pathfinder fanbloig) didn't know the second part (shame on me).

The “Strength of Thousands” Adventure Path takes place at the Magaambya academy in the Mwangi Expanse and the Mwangi Expanse sourcebook has some more background lore about the students and their activities. One rather interesting part is a sidebar about “study groups” that are basically alcohol samplings. One rather favorite drink is “Jatembe Juice” made from dates and ginger and so I had to recreate it. In this video I show how it is made:

I would like to write a story for a german fanzine. The fanzine is available free of charge as a PDF but there is also a printed version (with the exact same content) for which there is a charge.

Is that possible under the community use guideline?

@gisher
Thanks a lot for this detailed walk through, now it makes sense to me.
Even though that seemed like a very specialized usage I can't find any other way to get to the same result.

Welcome.
That the title was changed from "Human Resources" - which I personaly find a little disrespectuful - is a very good sign.

What was strange for a moment is the fact that there is another Maggie Gallagher out there who seems to be the opposite of the one mentioned here.

Paizo Welcomes Maggie Gallagher As Director Of People And Culture

This sounds great. Alone the fact that they moved on from the rather awfull "human resources" title speaks volumes.

But it is rather unfortunate that there is another Maggie Gallagher out there who seems to be the opposite from this one.

Is there a problem with the shipping of this book to other (overseas) retailers? I've been looking to buy this book ever since it came out but no European sellers seem to be carrying it. Ordering from Paizo directly means having to pay $40 in shipping to Europe, so I'd like to buy from local stores.

I've got mine from here: https://lurchundlama.de/Pathfinder-Absalom-City-of-Lost-Omens-P2

Hi,

I'm looking for a detailed map of the isle of Kortos. One where even small communitys like Turpin Row are marked. Does something like that exists? Where can I find ist?
The map in the new Absalom book is not THAT detailed.

And another question: Will the Map of the Starstone isle contain more detail? Will it be availale elsewhere?

Okay, the pre-seller is live but unfortunatly the shipping costs to Germany are really high.
Will there be a chance that the Gold Edition will also be available via more normal channels?

The Beadle & Grimm's box is currently slated to release in Q1 of 2022. It does not come with a free PDF, as it is a licensed product. ...

But it comes with a code for the book on Pathfinder Nexus and if you have linked your account you should receive the PDF on Paizo for free with every Nexus purchase.

That was a gift from our German translation partners, Ulisses Spiele. I'm unable to find it through search, unfortunately.

Since there are representatives of Paizo AND Demiplane on here I wanted to touch on something that really would help making Nexus even more interesting.

Translations:

If there was one shop where I have my books and charaters in both englisch and german (or french, or any other language Pathfinder is offered in) it would greatly help Gamemasters to manage their games. In my groups players use both languages and it is sometimes hard to find the right feats or talents. If I had one place where I could search for both and switch between languages it would be very helpfull.

I'm certain that is not something with a very high priority, but as a software developer myself I know it is best to know such requests beforehand so you can plan accordingly.

I have a dwarf in my party for Age of Ashes and they just arrived in Akrivel and now he asks the only real important question to him:

"Do the Ekujae have beer?"

How far in advance are the events in Golarion planed? With the recent AP's and the Society szenarios there where several changes implemented and this seems to continue with adventures like "Night of the Gray Death".

What was the reasoning behind having all "heal" type of spells moved into the school of necromancy?

With PF1 necromancy was kind of the "evil" school with all the bad and live draining stuff, now it's much more "muddled".

Is there an error on in the wizard section from the rules in the Heros Handbook?

The rules are supposed to be basically the same as in the CRB but there is a difference. If you choose a school in the CRB you get 6 1. level spells in your spellbook and 3 spellslots PLUS the focus spell of your school:

CRB 204
"plus one extra cantrip and spell of your chosen school of each level you can cast if you are a specialist wizard."

"The spellbook contains your choice of 10 arcane cantrips and five 1st-level arcane spells. You"

CRB 207
"Abjuration
As an abjurer, you master the art of protection, strengthening
defenses, preventing attacks, and even turning magic
against itself. You understand that an ounce of prevention
is worth a pound of cure. You add one 1st-level abjuration
spell (such as feather fall) to your spellbook. You learn the
protective ward school spell (page 407)."

Which would mean 6 1. level spells in your book PLUS "protective ward" and the ability to memorize 3 per day.

Beginners Box Heros Handbook 35

"SPELLCASTING
Through dedicated study and practice, you’ve learned to
harness arcane power to cast spells. Each morning, you study
your spellbook to decide what spells you want to cast that
day. This is called preparing your spells. Every day, you can
prepare two 1st-level spells and five cantrips from the list on
pages 36–37. When you prepare a spell, check the “Prep” box
next to that spell on your character sheet."

"Abjuration
With abjuration, you master the art of protection,
strengthening defenses and preventing attacks. You learn
the protective ward school spell and the following 1st-level
spells: burning hands, feather fall, mage armor, shocking
grasp, and sleep. Write these in the spellbook section of your
character sheet"

Which means 5 spells for the book and 2 to memorize PLUS "protective ward"

Or am I getting something wrong?
