  • Srilik is a Nagaji, born to a cult under the city of Korvosa. He lived much his young life as a pick pocket working the less than savory parts of town. His “boss” never allowed him in the upper districts where all of his favorties worked. One day he decided to try his luck out and try to become one of the favorites. But he was extremely unsuccessful since everybody stayed away from a boy covered in scales. That night he was horribly beaten for disobeying the rules. He vowed vengeance upon his boss one day.

  • Srilik was double traumatized by the pickpocketing experience. He didn’t realize that people not living in the slums were prejudice against his type. Whenever he goes out he makes sure to cover up fully, head to toe, usually in his armor – full body splint mail helmet and all. When he isn’t wearing his armor, he dons at least two layers of heavy cloaks and large hoods. When the light shines in the wrong direction you can see that his eyes aren’t entirely human.

  • Srilik Now works for the Korvosa guard and follows Abadar (losely). He realizes law has the potential to prevent may of the nasty things that can happen in the world and strives to achieve that. He also knows that the law can corrupt and is sometimes weary about what is going on around him and has downright refused an order if he deems it morally wrong. Sometimes he gets conflicted between the government protocols and Abadar’s teachings.
I may change my patron deity.

  • Going to dot this with mister Srilik here. He is a Paladin of Vengence. I will need to level him up and change stats after I roll (unless you are fine with what I have). I'll ahve to do that in a bitas I have some work needing to be done at the moment and I can't put it off too much longer. Haha.

I don't think I have to change any of my background stuff either, maybe some minor thing because of how you guys played the first part? I am not familiar with the AP to say what though.

    5d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 2, 3, 4) = 18
    5d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 1, 2, 1) = 9
    5d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 3, 5) = 17
    5d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 5, 3, 3) = 19
    5d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 6, 4, 2) = 19
    5d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 5, 5, 6) = 25

"So why exactly do you need us?" Srilik is intrigued yet weary of this strange woman and her intents. He knows Lamm needs to go down but isn't quite sure how far this woman, or the rest of the people gathered are willing to go.

"I'd prefer to remain standing, thank you though." Srilik moves closer to the table standing a few feet away while the others settle in.

"Indeed Ma'am, why us and what are your plans?"

"Indeed the lady is right, more and more reports are coming into the guard as the king gets sicker. Though I do believe that this is not about recent wrongs but those of the past." Srilik's deep voice slides out of his helmet. He still has not moved from the side of the doorway.

Srilik watched everything unfold in front of him, not saying or doing much. He preferred to keep his guard up and not let any distractions prevent him from doing his job.

"Not so sure about this. Being made to wait for their own party says something about our host."

Srilik speaks up in response to this knowing just what kinds of things can keep a man late. In a monotonic voice typical of a bored guard Srilik replies, "Perhaps our host is caught up in some unfortunate events, could be a prior engagement running long, or more than likely, considering this part of town, thugs."

Srilik steps into the room as quietly and inconspicuously as he is able to. Stealth: 1d20 - 9 ⇒ (14) - 9 = 5 which isn't very inconspicuous at all. He doesn't say a word to the others and just observes the room around him.

Srilik wakes up in the morning extremely groggy after a night full of haunts. Damn card, reminding me of Lamm. I was hoping I was done with that life.[i] He does his morning routine like always, dressing up in several layers of cloaks to hide himself. Then he heads to the main guard station to ask about Lancet Street and that general part of town.

He then runs a few errands before returning home mid afternoon. [i] Patrolling the streets will be a good disguise, only the person who sent the card will know who I am... Which means they also likely know I am a Nagaji, Srilik scowls, though someone would be hard pressed to see it under his cloak. Eitherway, I might as well see what is going on.
Srilik gets his uniform together and all equipped then leaves his house in time to get to Lancet Street and hour before sundown. Once there he begins "patrolling," passing by the building once every 5-8 minutes.

A few minutes before sundown Srilik starts seeing several people come to the meeting place, exchanging pleasantries and showing each other harrow cards. So it begins. Srilik slows his pace and moves towards the same side of the street that the others are on, spotting the tiefling and his chair approaching from the other side of the street, Yelling to the others.

Srilik picks up his pace and moves to the group, "Is everything alright here?"

A cold chill swirls in the air, and the lanterns flicker from a few houses and late night businesses. Srilik clanks through the streets, footsteps echoing off the cobble stone. He looks down one of the alleys and sees a young couple is having a moment. They stop at the sounds of his footsteps and look at him. In a dry routine voice Srilik gives the younglings the speech, "Move along. The alleys are a dangerous place to be this time of night." They grumble some curses in his direction but get up and disappear down the opposite end around the corner.

Srilik sighed, he hated this part of town. So many people here without respect for the Gaurd, and too many of them were troublemakers. Why couldn't I have been assigned to the upper districts? At least I would have someone to talk to on a slow night. A cold gust of wind blew down the alley causing Srilik to shiver slightly despite being covered head to toe in cloaks and heavy armor. This wind is terrible, I thought the weather was supposed to be getting better. Just as he was about to turn to move along a card flew and touched his chest getting stuck among the many bands of leather on his armor. What's this? Sriliks eyes narrowed as he read the card. This card was no accident. Perhaps I will see what is going on. At least I have tomorrow off.
