If you do, she gets disqualified from all tournaments, and then she's going to come after you with those large melee weapons and guns she packs."

While setting to work to try and establish a reasonably secure living situation, Jasmine thinks about Cupi's words.

Hmm, Reizirp was very interested in us talk about our experiences as Starfinders. I am quite surprised he may be behind this, as he seemed so sincere and nice. Though I do admit that it seems to be adding up. As to how this has been accomplished, I have no idea.

Well, best we treat this as a real stranded situation and make the best of it.

While working as described above, Jasmine will also connect her computer to her back up generator. She uncharacteristically powers the computer down when working on other things. not sure exactly how much charge a computer uses, it is just described as functioning for 24 hours on its internal charge.

Well I think if I charge this while working through the day, we'll have enough juice for some games in the evening. I am happy to share.

After some days of this she remarks, "It seems being forced to disconnect quite a bit, that perhaps I should make more of an effort to do so occasionally. I have enjoyed this time with you my love."

"And I, you, of course. I'd be willing to play some co-op games with you. You know how I don't hold up in Extra Smash Sisters All out battler. Maybe we can do some co-op stuff in 'Not Sentient creature hunter.'"

"Unfortunatly, I took the Starfinder course on Battlefield triage instead of wilderness survival. I think I can jury-rig my field kit to figure out what food is edible here. I have rudimentary life sciences skills, but nothing that a novice Starfinder wouldn't know.

I suggest staying in the cave for shelter until cupi and I can build a more solid structure."

Soryn has Medicine at 1d20+1d6+17 for figuring out what food is nutritious and safe to eat. He has Engineering to help build a structure and rudimentary tools with 1d20+1d6+18. He does have life sciences but only at +4

Jasmine looks between Soryn and Cupi. "Wait you two haven't met? Darling this is Cupi. He isn't really one for social graces, but he is an expert in anything electronic and mechanical. I have to admit, he is even more skilled with computer systems than I am. Cupi, this is Soryn, you may also have heard of him as Ace Kidman, Kid Ace Pilot. Soryn is quite skilled at supporting his fellow Starfinders, but like you not necessarily the most directly adept at direct combat."

She pauses at this point looking at Cupi a little more closely.

"Do you have an actual gun? I don't think I've seen you with a weapon, unless you count your grapple gun, or other scavenged equipment during the mission," Turning to Rani, "While I may sound a bit harsh about our companions, they will both provide ample support during any conflicts even if they are not the best agents for incapacitating enemies directly."

"Oh Honey, did I tell you? I finally passed my tests. Paperwork came through right before we left. I'm officially ranked as a Tier 11 pilot and paramedic by the Starfinders."

"Not sure if we've met before Cupi, I've been out of the loop for a while trying to pass my exams. But it's nice to meet you. I have to say, I've learned a bit about starship engines as part of my piloting training, but I'm sure I don't hold a candle to you. But if you ever want to talk shop I can try to keep up."

Soryn's bonus to Engineering is +17+1d6+2 for expertise.

Soryn waits for an opportune time to answer Rani's question.

"It was some mer-man or something. Forget his name. He was going to be a villain of the week. Found the cursed Techno-pearl or something? Was going to use it to mind-control mermaids during an election or something? Honestly it was a while ago so I can't remember the details."

Soryn turns to Jasmine again. "Oh, honey, my Mom called again. I think she wants to have dinner on Castrovel . . . something about 'not properly monetizing your brand' or something. I tried to tell her that you are doing fine, but you know how my mom is. Won't take no for an answer and convinced she's always right. I think she wants to enroll you in acting classes so you'll be more 'camera ready' for your next interview." Soryn rolls his eyes clearly indicating what he thinks of his mom's ideas. "She made me swear on my career that I deliver the, uh, offer let's call it. Honestly, ever since I managed to revitalize my career with that reality show '‘Tasch Completion,' she's been impossible."

”Oh it’s so good to see you sweety, rotten luck about the match.” Soren waves to his S.O.

”Hello Rani. How’s the production on that show? I tried out for it a while back. Just a guest star role, but they went for a newcomer. I think they saw that I had a Starfinder Pilot’s license and my EMT certification and thought they’d have to pay me more.”

Sitting in the pilot seat is former child star Soryn Kimmamori, who played the child prodigy pilot Ace Kiddman, Kid Ace pilot. Despite his ridiculous afro and strange garb, he seems to be an actual pilot, and is, at least competently, piloting the ship to its destination.
