As the meeting is the next day, I’ve healed Smell of the Pines. The leshy is not trained in Deception, but if no one else’s wants the ring, it takes it.

The leshy let the other members of the party reply to the argument, not really knowing what to say.

Just want to avoid a critical failure as Smell of the Pines is not trained in any of those skills. I’ll roll deception if no one else replies.

On round 2, as Rose was still on fire Resinosa moved close to her and tried to help.

The leshy gives the mephit a bad look and tells it to go back to its plane as “it’s not welcomed here.”

The leshy looks at the runes representing constellations and nothing comes to mind.

Before the ritual starts, Smell of the Pines grabs its wand of heal and gets close to the iruxi. The plant creature, able to push enemies aside with her root like legs stands close too.

Both leshy and Resinosa gives the unnatural horror summoned by Tarkii a worried look.

The leshy wants to help calm down the iruxi but it’s not good at lying and trying to bully him could anger or antagonize him so it just stay silent for now.

The society likes to keep records of what agent do in missions. I learned the skills to do such reports but each time I do one or even try to make a Tale about a mission, I get it back as being incomprehensible.

This is the first thing that came to my mind, the numerous failure or critical failure of Smell of the Pines at his Pathfinder Society Lore checks for downtime.

I believe we had some time to do some healing, I believe some other party member are more proficient than the leshy which only has a +10 Nature to do some basic mending.

Smell of the Pines is a leshy made up of mostly roots, with a big potato making up most of his body. It wears some kind of heavy clothing, that makes its shape look more humanoid; its padded clothing has some light burn marks on them. As many pathfinders, it has a backpack and a couple of simple weapons, they do not seem to have seen much use. It is glad to be back in the Mwangi. The place is vibrant with life. It has its danger but which place doesn’t.

It listens carefully at the briefing, not convinced the pathfinders should impose their presence if this people wants to be left alone.
It nods to Merian, Rannarix and his giant scorpion, glad to see familiar faces.
To Tarkii and Rose it says “Glad to meet you, I’m Smell of the Pines.

Behind him a creature looking like a big red pine tree, similar to those from the Finadar forest, seems to be listening. It shares a light green rune on its forehead with the leshy. As Smell of the Pines presents itself, she does the same, only saying “I am Resinosa.”.

Rangi has a better Medicine than Smell of the Pines’s Nature and has Continual Recovery; I guess he will heal someone during the 10 minutes.
The leshy will just refocus.

After asking the merfolk what the talisman does, the leshy politely thanks her while refusing the offer.

The talisman is for experts in Athletics; Smell of the Pines does not have the requirements.

As the hobgoblin bandages him, the leshy offers his help and the content of his herbal medicines. If no one is interested it starts communing with nature and its eidolon.

If the team needs someone else to Treat Wounds, Smell of the Pines can use Natural Medicine and spend 10 minutes and make a Nature +10 roll.
If that’s not needed, which I think it is not as we have plenty of healers, it spends 10 minutes Refocusing.
It also has 2 minor elixir of life left from its infused reagents.

The leshy goes on swimming to avoid getting swept by the current; Resinosa does the same to get a little closer to the turtle.

The leshy sensing the need for Resinosa to be more mobile concentrates and the tree creature’s root flatten a bit.

Casting Evolution Surge for 1 focus, giving Resinosa a swim speed of 25 ft, making it able to breath underwater, which it already can, and also make it gain the amphibious trait. That trait will remove the −2 penalty on Resinosa’s bludgeoning and slashing unarmed Strikes.

Then the leshy tries to avoid sinking.

Smell of the Pines is a leshy mostly made up of a big potato, the rest is intertwined roots and its hair is like a coniferous, with several small pine cones in his hair. It presented itself to the other, gladly talking and listening.

During the journey, on a couple occasion, it grabbed a cone on its head, throw it on the floor and concentrates on it. As green energy flares between them, a human sized pine tree creature quickly grows up, some of its needles looking very thin and long. The creature has the red tint of the Finadar pines. The plant creature presented herself by saying “I am Resinosa.” She did not pronounce any other word.

The leshy is busy squishing some algae and mixing it with some powder and a bit of water before putting it in same vial. It finishes the last batch as the captain calls up to meet with the Venture-Captain.

They both listen and watch the venture captain. They’re both surprised when the creatures attacks and freeze for the moment.
