Resolving Plik's meeting:
The Gnome continues to quickly and deftly copy Plik's references... In fact her attention seems completely absorbed for a moment as she 'scribes' away at the papers.

The soft 'squeak' between the impact of the grenade and the frog immediately snaps the secretaries attention to the noise... Plik could almost have sworn he noticed the Gnome's nose twitch...

Shen stops what she's doing and carefully sets the papers aside to dry, she'd pretty much finished transcribing them any way. She peers intently at the things Plik has arraigned for her to see.

"Yes... yes... Very interesting..." That there is a sharp toothed carnivore of about her same size and mass now within close proximity doesn't seem to register with the Gnome. Shen looks at the documents she's finished, flicking through them and noting the papers she hasn't copied before seeming to come to a decision with a nod.

"Okay! These other few notes.. well.. I'm pretty sure I can write them down later. I've copied all the important bits." Shen shows Plik which papers she has and has not copied (She's been quite quick and professional, only some of the lesser notes remaining).

Once the pair of you are happy with what has been 'officially' copied she hand your papers back and sorts her copies into a folder. Taking something from within a desk within the draw she brightly and politely asks you to wait here for a bit and she races out of the room with the item and the copied papers tucked away within a folder.

Shen couldn't have gone far, probably no further than the woman sitting at the top of the stairs, before she's back and scampering over to the trap-door in the corner.

"Come on!" She says excitedly. "You may as well get to where you're wanted through the 'Runners'." She says, even as she begins to hurry down a ladder beneath the trap door.

(Assuming Pliks follows)

At the bottom she tugs on a small piece of string which drops the door above you shut and thence she's racing off at a brisk pace along a tunnel that, while once was probably a storm water drain, is now quite obviously a passageway used by beings of Shen and Plik's stature. Shen seems quite used to the way as she deftly bustles along seemingly not disconcerted by the large patches where there are no glow lanterns providing light along the way.

Soon the pair come across a sentry point where in a Rat-kin sits guard. With a nod and twitch of their whiskers they acknowledge Shen and allow both the Gnome and her charge passage. It doesn't take long for the pair's journey to come to an end (Possibly, with a dice roll Plik can work out how far they've come) before Shen leads you into a larger chamber beneath the cities buildings.

(While a large post, I apologize for not having more time atm to further describe the room/chamber other than it is a hive and bustle of activity.. All being conducted by folk of Plik and Shen's height. Rat-kin, Half-lings, a couple of other Gnomes are of immediate notice. There are others on the edge of vision or hidden behind places within the chamber. Of note is the Human woman seated upon cushions in one corner to whom it appears every one is either reporting too or taking orders from. She glances at the door way through which the pair of you have entered and definitely takes notice of Plik.)

Shen begins to re-arraigning the paper work upon the desk before herself. Making a space where she can look through Plik's references.

"Oh.. well.. I'll just be making copies of these." She glances to Plik, "Nothing wrong with talking while you wait..."

She finishes settling the papers to her satisfaction before sitting and removing a rather ornate set of ink pots and quills out onto the desk. Soon, she is passing one quil over Plik's paper work.. with the second quill seeming to dance of its own accord over a second set of blank parchments... Leaving a copy of the original writing in its wake.

"So.. is there much you'd like to know?" Shen asks Plik. "I've got to admit.. We've not many Kobolds amongst the organization..."

Looking about the room Plix notes that it does not function as a place of rest or recuperation as would normally be found at an inn. There is a Gnome woman leaning over a desk placed on one side of the room. A small lantern adds to the light coming from the window on the far wall. A large cabinet containing shelves and draws behind her. Another desk supplements the one at which the woman has a few papers and parchments open upon. In the middle of the room are two chairs. Of interest is that all of the furniture is 'reduced' to fit beings of Plix and the Gnome lass size.

Minute details:
The Gnome woman's hair is slightly mussed, she even absently brushing a strand from her face as you glance about. The table has many documents scattered over its surface, one or two which might even be upside down. There is a large rug covering most of the floor though it leaves the edges of the room's wooden floor clear to whit a small trap door can be made out in the corner behind the Gnome woman. There is a cord or string hanging from another hole in the ceiling also behind the Gnome woman... as well as a small lever tucked/attached to the side of the cabinet.

Over the window's panes, between the curtain drapes, is a fine silken gauze of material. Gently diffusing the light as well as obscuring any clear view into the room. Neither table nor chairs are in sight of the window. Indeed, it is entirely possible to go from door to chair or table while remaining out of sight of the window's view. Interestingly, both of the interview chairs are some what haphazardly arraigned. Both being relatively close together and skewed in relation to having a clear, straight on view of the desk.

The Gnome is reasonably well dressed. Though her style is slightly different with more silks and such being in evidence about her person. She is lithe and trim as opposed to matronly in build. She carries no easily (Nor markedly) holstered or sheathed weapons. There might be something secured to the bottom of the desk.

"Hmmm?" Then the occupant of the room looks towards yourself. "Ah! Come in! Come in!" She declares, even as her possibly grow a little wider at some aspect of Plik's demeanor.
