Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Ah, sorry I am as well for not keeping my end up with posting here either.

To every one I played with, thank you for the great time. :)

May Real Life and your future adventures be as bright.

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Shaya thoroughly enjoys the gratitude and friendship of the village. She also helps bring the lass and her child back in from the safe place in the forest where the party hid them from the previous monsters attention.

Friendly check:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26 (Some folks is goin' t' paaar-TAY!) (^_^)

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

I am sorry for not adding anything to this adventure. I am ashamed to have let my participation fall by the way side. I do so heart felt and humbly apologize for doing so. V_V I will truly try and get back up to speed with what is going on and shall work hard at becoming an active and useful player. Again, I am sorry for not 'pulling' my weight.

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

"Hmmmm..." Shaya thinks about the twist in Ungorralins' plan.

"I'm not sure if we have time for me to go find something that will help?" She admits. "And just summoning something to have a bit of 'chow time' seems a waste." She looks to every one else as they stand near by.

"So, what's the next plan?" She asks.

How is the pair the party saved from the initial Ogres, btw? The Lass and child still doing well, DM?

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Shaya rolls her eyes at Ungorralin's suggestion.

"The people drink and fish in said river. Dropping dead Ogres into it is not a good idea." She frowns at the other option. "Even in our native forms, digging is going to be slow going to get a hole deep enough for this lot." She sighs.

Yay! I have a week end to actually POST! (^_^)

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Sorry I haven't much tie to keep the character updated. V_V. Also, the map doesn't seem to have down loaded properly. Please, DM, could I have another?

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Stealth:1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27

Sorry for being out of it, s~&$ work schedules and all. Feel free to use the character as you will for the best advantage of the party. ^_^

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Shaya nods at Herensuge's words, though she also frowns a little.

"I think a broader attack base than just fire. This White is smart enough to have underlings, it will be smart enough to know its own weaknesses and take measures to protect itself from the obvious." She grins happily,

"Loos like in the ranged attacks I have the advantage." There's a slightly proud/smirk-y tone to her voice.

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Shaya smiles reassuringly to Ella,

"You just relax with your little one."

"Okay, we need to figure out some things." She says turning to her 'companions'. "What sort of bit can we use to get the Oni away from their Boss?' She muses, "If we cut down on those smart, magical nasties the White should be a much easier thing to tackle." She looks around,

"Ideas? Suggestions?"

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Shaya's face grows grim at this news and she glances to her brothers before her smile returns,

"Well, we'll just have to see about getting your town a few new trophies then?" She grins trying to bolster Ella's attitude.

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Once a very descent way into the forest Shaya stops with the woman and her infant bundle.

Cast "Endure Elements upon them both.

Then Diplomacy:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31 and Sense Motive:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 while simply saying,

"Are you or the child hurt? How long since you've both eaten?"

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

(O.o)

Shaya grabs the woman, the still crying child and runs! heading back into the woods

"You guys bring that!" Are her receding words, possibly indicating the remaining Ogre.

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Shaya doesn't really slow down, just nods and keeps running towards the edge of the woods.

Um, do I need any skill rolls? Not actually trying to hide as such...

Spell Craft:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19

Shaya begins to concentrate on casting 'Bark Skin' in a round or so.

"Gharz, hmmm, I have seen you move around, and you do make quite a racket. Plus, Invisibility doesn't mask any sounds, he he. Cast that spell and you will have some trouble getting out unobserved." Hearing an angry chirp in his ear, he reminds Gharz, "I have my good luck charm with me."

Shaya stares at Ungorralin for a brief second...*Did he just compare me to a rabbit?! I'm a robin!*

Ungorralin wrote:
That remark earns him a sharp peck to his earlobe."Ok, Ok I'll be good. Let me have a quick look around, if they capture me, they won't take a lone halfling too seriously. And you can always spring me out later, if necessary, he he."

Shaya tries to give what she hopes in an encouraging chirp as the groups plans are set into motion.

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Shaya adjusts her pack and gear. Making sure everything that she owns and has picked up is secure and properly tucked away.

Closing her eyes she concentrates then with a shimmering of her form turns into a small robin. With a burr of wings she settles upon Ungorralin's shoulder.

"Chirp!' The little robin sings.

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

At hearing that there are Ogres and Oni loitering abut the place, Shaya looks thoughtful.

"Well, initially I think we can lure one or two of the Ogres off and take them out individually. Help shift the odds plus less risk of damage to actual people or property. The two Oni as guards? Guarding what or who I wonder..." She looks to Zarroshduvar, "The one spell I just thought of was 'Dimensional Anchor', to stop any powerful foe from jumping away and warning the White..." She sighs.

"Hind sight is always clearer than foresight." She glances at Ungorralin, "I know what you're thinking, just don't go there okay?" She says with an arched eyebrow.

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Tongues is always good. There's always a chance of getting some weird dialect/race happening that being able to listen in on is going to be handy. Detect thoughts for a similar reason. Invisibility? Dimension door? Well, we shouldn't need to sneak about as a group, nor run away *huffs* We're Dragons. :P

(>.<) Eeeew! Sand and dirt in all the wrong...um...*>.>*...places...

Okay, lets get this adventure rolling! ^_^

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

I swear there's a conspiracy to get my character wet, slippy and probably nekkid....

Sounds like a good plan/compromise to me. ^_^

Ungorallin suggests, "since Shaya can swim, she should check the river out first, preferably in her elven form, none of us should be in dragon form, no need to alert our neighbors, yet. Herensuge, I like the bird idea, you can fly above the rest of us and point us in the right direction. What do you think?"

Also Aurion asks if someone can memorize a mage armour for him

"Sadly, I can not, though Bark Skin is within my powers." She smiles as she offers what aid she can. At the mention of swimming, Shaya's eyes do seem to drift off for just a moment before coming back to reality.

"It is a normal town, is it not? I go with the suggestion of we all walking in as 'normal'." She indicates her current, Elven shape. "Though having one of us 'on the fringe' is a masterful idea as well." She acknowledges Herensuge's idea with a compliment.

Aurion says "lets go and scout out the village tomorrow!

I want to explore Storm-haven today and also go flying outside!"

Elan says "That's a reasonable idea, the entrance is above the clouds so it is very unlikely that anybody will see where you have come from"

I will assume that people will rest for the night and then be off tomorrow, (as it is the weekend coming up in RL i may not be able to post again until Monday)
so does anybody want to do anything else on the first day of their life!

If everyone is agreed with going to the village then can you tell me how you would like to scout it. it is a village next to a river
with 50 or so homes and you can get within 300ft and still be in the trees.

You had me won at 'River'! ^_^ Some where to wash, swim and relax. Plus stretching ones wings in the wide open sky sounds simply bliss (^_^)

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Shaya continues to pad around after their guide, still in her Elven form, only occasionally hitching at her pants as they go, nodding and casting a very appraising eye over everything described.

At Elan's words about the arriving Giants, she again nods though her face is neutral and unreadable upon her thoughts about the matter.

Okay, once every one is set it's time to be off and meet the people. ;)

Also, I think I have to tweek my character some more, but will have no time for the next few days. So I'm not sure if I can justifiably get into a fight quite yet. Sorry about that. V_V

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

I does indeed. Now I just need some free time to make the adjustments.

Cheers!

Zarrosh broods for a short space but he brightens up, "Only a matter of time before that Grymach finds us. I say we take care of him first, starting with his minions." The muscular human looks at Elan,

"You know anything on the giants who works for him? Any non-giant minions?" To Shaya he adds,

"That Grymach has got to have a horde. It will make ridding him quite rewarding..."

Herensuge wrote:

The small silver dragon flexes his wings and takes flight, turning in a lazy spiral over the party to reach Elan's height.

"Thank you, Father Elan. You help is most appreciated as is Talwin one," he replies when he can between his brother and sister banter.

"Your words were wise, sister, I would suggest to go and scout the End village or town when we are rested, to learn more about these giants and not to let any enemy settle there."

Sherren nods to Zarroshduvar and Herensuge.

"Zarr..I think you misunderstand my words though. What I meant was for us to take time and think over what this curse might be..." She sighs and frowns, "..I don't know how to speak about this matter yet, I can not find the right words..." She looks away towards a corner of the room for a short time before looking up to where Herensuge flits about the room.

"Thank you Heren, though I believe Zarr has aimed the bolt more true, this piddling white dragon, it should have some wealth that could be out to better used than as some scale-lings mattress." She grins ruefully, a gleam in her bright green eyes.

"Gyrmach sent us a message, it is only courteous we give it a reply."

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Bah, anything can be used as a weapon with the right mindset and such, they just aren't useful weapons at the moment. ;). Um, surely the chain mail counts as material/resources for the Giants to turn into gear for us?

Still occasionally shifting and twitching, Sherren pads about the room.

"Indeed this place is built to accommodate fathers size. I have no doubt that, with the fullness of our age, we too shall grow to fit the spaces better." She looks up at the giant and his companions.

"Your offer is both good, and the only one we have," She smiles to try and take any sting from her words. "Though if only the rings can gain a person assess to this place, how did they," She dismissively indicates the dead monsters, "Get in and why must you 'secure' this place?" She looks to Zarroshduvar,

"Now then, brother, I believe we should think about things a little before we run off anywhere." She keeps her smile, to show she is being friendly still. "We have much skills and abilities from our time spent in commune with father, but very little practical knowledge of the world at large, so perusing a map and such will also help. I too have thoughts about the Elves, but running off and 'shaking them down' for any such knowledge or leads may not be the best way to go about things." She winks to further ease any tension her words may garner.

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

(O.O) *Eeeeps* As she shifts into her Elven form, both hands flying to grab at her nether regions as she stands.

"It pinches!" She she rubs at a space just beneath the waistband of her pants, wiggling about a bit as she gets things to sit a bit more comfortably 'back there'. She does spare a frown/glare at Zarroshduvar.

"Remember what I said about Ungorralin not being the only one with a sense of humor." She warns her teasing brother. "Besides, does that mean you owe me 5 Gp?" She grins charmingly at Zarroshduvar ^_^

Hee hee, thinking about the sword isn't seeming as such a bad thing. (^_^)

And the DM was asking about the reason for some of my feat choices. Always think outside the box. (^_~)

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Sherren frowns upon hearing the whole of Elan's speech, even as she finishes up packing things into her magic bag/sack. Padding quickly over to Talwyn, she waits until Elan's magic has helped the small fey, a slight look of concern upon her Elvish features.

"Glad I am you are now much recovered, Talwyn." She smiles in way of comforting him. The she again looks to Elan,

"You comment about our 'creation..." She frowns again, "There really must be a better way of saying that..." She muses "Our father spent much time communing with us as we slept within our shells. I'm sure the people's of whom we can take our mundane forms would agree to our fathers task. I feel that our essence is more than just a mixing of spirit." She stands tall as she speaks, not daunted by the difference between her six foot frame and the creature that towers five times her size.

She turns to Zarroshduvar, "Um, you say this magic ring is now stuck to you?" She asks, puzzled indicating this 'special' magic ring the DM has indicated. Seeing her brother nod she frowns, brows knit close in thought. After a short while she smiles, a thin, calculating lie upon her face. "A pity, here, I have an idea about how best to use such a device." So saying she closes her eyes and concentrates...

Talwyn says, young masters and mistress this is now your domain, you are the new lords and lady of Stormhaven

Talwyn still looks shaky and confused you best guess is that he is at negative levels after the loss of his master
Heren I am assuming that you will do an aid other with Gharz on his spellcraft roll, I hope that is ok,

this is not going to be a fight so if it is ok we will not worry about perception rolls
While you are all gathered near the sprite you hear footsteps and clanking armor, out of a room (about 30ft away)appear three huge giants the one in front has on plate armor and is wielding a huge heavy pick, on his armor is the symbol of Bahumut, behind him is another giant with a massive great sword, he also has the symbol of Bahumut on his armor and lastly there is another giant wielding a massive staff.
Heren recognizes the first giant as the servant of Bahumut who appeared to him while he was an egg, his name is Elan

The first giant says Well done little ones! it seems that you have dealt with the threat yourselves , Our help was not needed!

Sherren looks 'up' at these newcomers.

"Father obviously didn't have a problems with size issues..." She mutters. She looks to Talwyn,

"Lords etc of Stormhaven? I do like the sound of that." She smiles, then turns her attention to these large newcomers, "May I ask as to your capacity may be, good sirs?" She asks, possibly with a now imperious air about her bearing. (^_~)

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

(>.<) D'oh! And that's why I switch avatar pics to make it noticeable... No worries, I'm sure the back end of your mundane form is just as watchable as your Dragon one.(^_~)

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Sherren watches as the Copper dragon turns and walks away, her eyes following the swish of his tail, before her face turns serious and she moves to load as many of the trunks as she thinks are 'unclaimed' within her bag.

She stands, brushing her hands together absently, as she gives the giant bodies a final looking over for anything that perhaps she missed.

Perception Roll:1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19

Yes, I am taking everything that hasn't been chewed on or flame grilled. Clothing, armor, weapons, tusks you name it, I'm taking it off them and loading up the sack.

Any one else, feel free to pipe up and make a comment about me stripping bodies here.

"Interesting, you can do things in this form that cannot be done in our true forms. Or is this our true form, and we play at being dragons? Hmmm. Gotta think about it later. I feel very naked and unprotected, but I think I am pretty cute, he eh."

Sherren grins at her sibling as he shares his views on the question of 'ownership',

"Cool!, so, um, are you gonna use your old, empty trunk?" There is a mischievous twinkle in her bright green eyes as she glances at the others in the room,

"Oh, I'm already thinking of some of the uses our more mundane," There is a subtly dismissive tone in her voice as she talks about the Elven shape she currently wears, "Forms can be put to the good use of. Never fear, you aren't the only one with a sense of humor." To which she winks to underscore her meaning. (^_~)

Okay, getting all my magical gear on. Changing/updating character pages to match.

Perception 1d20+10

Hey I think Sherry woke up finally. Good thing I'm not a dragon treasure hunter otherwise, she would be more broke than a...goblin beggar. How do they beg, you ask, with their mouths open, ha ha ha!

He walks back to her and says "Oops, pardon me for interrupting you while you are changing, he he." He snickers again. Then he asks, "How are you feeling?"

Sherren's face reddens slightly at Ungorralin's question,

"Um, I did find it kind of hard getting out, thanks for asking." She glances at the two open and empty chests, "Say, do you think any one will want those?"

"Yeah, sorry for missing out on the thumping comity here." She indicates the giant bodies lying about, "Still, life's bound to be full of surprises, hey?" ^_^ Sherren grins happily down at the smaller form of her wrymling brother then blinks,

"Hmmm, that's interesting. With the time spent with father, I never realized how much size changes a beings perspective."

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

And shifting into the form of a sun bronzed Elf. Deftly now she goes bout opening the chest before herself and sorting through it's contents. Placing some within the shoulder bag, others she drapes about her form.

From a small pouch, Shaya removes a pearl and carefully sets it to one side. Before resuming the packing of her belongings from one container to another. Once the chest is empty, She begins to pull and stretch the bag over the chest, the wooden box magically disappearing within its folds.

Picking up the pearl and slipping it within the folds of the pocket of he trousers, Shaya pads bare foot over to the giant bodies and then begins to strip them of any and all sundries.

From clothing to weapons, to the better sized tusks that some of the monsters are sporting, seemingly anything and everything is studied as to its worth of putting within 'The bag'.

ready to start talking to any one who's in the room. ^_^

Again, an apology for not being finished. Work schedule is hammering me very flat atm. Sorry for holding every one up.

I am indeed looking forward to playing with every one.

Cheers!

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

I thought it was we went from what ever Dragon size we were to a 'normal' humanoid size of set choice?

So a HUGE Dragon turns into a Half-ling. Though at the start a small Dragon turns into a, um, 'normal' Half-ling?

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

E-mail sent. Sorry, sorry, sorry for being so sloooow! *wails* V_V

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Sorry, the character isn't finished at all yet. Nope, haven't adjusted stats etc yet. Though there's paper work strewn to heck and back with every thing worked out. I just haven't had the time from work to transpose things onto the forum. V_V Sorry.

Um, there's a PbP thread now? *Runs off to search forum*

(^_^)

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

So...don't wear armor, or any of that expensive fabric type stuff either. (^_~)

I'm spending the starting money on Bracers and Amulets of +1 armoring type effects, myself. Might have a shield as well. Something that will either magically change *points up* as per the DM's fiat, or you can simply drop.

Getting there for character. Here's the work up so far.

The Avatar...it callssss to usssss

Female Bronze Dragon (Young) Druid 8

Putting the dot up. Character so far.

*Just a bump wishing every one has had a good x-mas and wishing all the very best for the new year.*

Getting closer to being a finished and complete character. A perusal of equipment and such just so that the DM is happy with the purchases? Only a few simple tweaks and tucks and Shaya is ready *Bows*

Shaya laughs, a clear honest sound,

"I won't speak for the others and at the moment I wont tell you mine." Her smile is a small quirk of her lips, "What I will speak freely of is about a family motto, of sorts." She winks mischievously at Elaugolg.

"Be nice, until it is time to not be nice." Her smile grows slightly, to show a hint of pointed, white teeth.

"Of course, there are others but they can await for further times to fill the boredom with entertainment."

Still plugging away at it/her *curtsies* I also apologize for loading this OOC thread up with such useless trivia. *glances @ Elaugolg Kenafin* *smiles*

"Oh look.......a male." *continues to look innocent and nonthreatening, even as she shifts to stand slightly in front of Shalessa and Xiera.

"And how goes things with you, perchance? I do not believe we've been introduced?" As she speaks the Drow lass turns slightly towards her subject of interest, hands and arms flexing slightly by her sides.

Again, I apologize for an unfinished character. *curtsies*

Thank you, dearest mother.Knowledge check Planes:1d20 ⇒ 7 ;) Result relative to the finished characters skills to understand the pros, cons and implications of such a 'gift'

I shall endeavor to show my self worthy of such favor from yourself.

I must admit to very much looking forwards to this adventure, even if it might be for such a short while. Will do my best to finish all the details of the character as time permits. Higher level characters are complicated!

*curtsies again*

Happy to go with sisters and being left to grow up as the cute little Drow we have become today.

As for the words of "Trust" in the Drow language? Of course there are. In Drow-ish it is usually a term one uses during intimacies. Where else does one think little Drow come from. ;)

As for the coming back since we are of use to you?

*smiles innocently*

Of course, mother dear, please teach us the ways of the world.
