Apologies for being missing in action. Been raining here a lot lately due to the recent typhoon, and I live in a flood-prone area. Floodwater is not getting inside the house but it makes streets become not passable for light vehicles, which is a bit of a problem if you have errands to do outside, including going to work.

Severus gets close to the railing to see the enemies. He then sends down from above jumble of rocks on Aslynn and Green Creature.

Severus runs close to the middle of the Vault and finds Red. He sends more rocks to it, trying to squish the vermin.

A man in all black attire with matching sleek black hair arrives as well. "Severus." he introduces with a tone of pride. "What are we going to do here, yes?" he asks the Grand Archivist. "Is this place infested that needs to be cleared with or something?" he muses. "But I heard we will just catalogue things down here, why not."

"We just came back from collecting the ingredients when stone creatures greeted us with hostility, thanks to your magical cauldron." Severus responds to her bewilderment. "Are they supposed to do that every Winter Week?"

Severus follows what the others are doing with the cauldron. "Let me do the rest..." Severus volunteer to finally disable the thing.

"I think it is a spell gone wrong, with her trying to master a spell that turns rocks into food!"

"Is that so? Maybe there is a way to stop it. What do you think?" Severus responds to BK. But before he can let him respond, he quickly launches three darts of force toward the cauldron, thinking it is the one that causes the cobbelswarm to be what it is now.

Severus splashes a glob of acid on the cobbleswarm. "If this is Kupyn's treachery, no wonder the others don't like her!" he jumps into a conclusion.

"Well done, fellow." Severus gives compliment to Morthos on his effort to get the ingredients they need."I think we have everything we need: carrots and celery, potatoes, and scallions. Maybe we should go back to the witch and show her what we are able to get for her. And I am hungry anyway." Severus suggests as he gets ready to move back to the witch's place.

"We are summon by the witch that make rock stew and we mean no harm. We would like to have some of the ingredients by which the others can only found here, perhaps." Severus tries to be as diplomatic as he can be. "I hope you don't mind helping us so that we all can celebrate the Winter Week." he adds with a awkward smile.

Severus is so preoccupied with the scenery of the place along the way that he did not notice that the group has even got the potatoes. Two ingredients down, anyway. "And we also that potatoes and the celeries and the carrots. So where do we go next?" he asks them.

"Doesn't want to be bothered, you say? But why she is enthusiastic about it? She even tells us the story and sang us a song. Maybe she's just old which makes her grumpy. You know, we have studied that there is actually a relation between age and the mood of the person. Given the witch is old, the more logical it would be that she gets to keep complaining about the Winter Week." Severus tries to lecture him with something that he only remembers barely, actually.

Severus shrugs. "Three gold pieces? Hmm. Not bad for just gathering the ingredients. Let's do it." he agrees with the arrangement.

"Not bad, not bad for a history." Severus nods at the witch after she tells them the story about the rock stew and even sang a song for them about it. "So, you'll give us a task of finding those ingredients the villagers gave so that you can make a stew?" Severus asks her. "Not that hard to do actually. And yeah, is there a change in the ingredients?" he asks the same question as Lidya, which he finds different.

Severus snorts at the witch when she shows them a rock to be made into a stew. "Rock? Into stew? Hah! Are you kidding me? I know magic but not that kind you want to happen." he says with a laugh. It takes him a while before he composes himself. "Okay, apologies. Not so fast of judging what you can do, but, yes, please. Do tell us a story about that rock stew." he says chidingly to the old woman.

"I actually hate that tournament after all the fish we caught and everything that happened. We are just so lucky to be the champions. Ha!" Severus shakes his head as he recalls what happened to that unfortunate event. "Hopefully there is no fishing here."

Bounties are also counted as missions to gain a Wayfinder when you get to play two missions..

Severus enters the scene with his chin up, as always. He is a tall man with slick black hair wearing a black long-sleeved button-up coat with matching trousers and flowing black robes as a cape. He nods as the others introduce themselves to him. "Severus. Greetings to all." he slowly says in an ominous tone. "Oh, aren't you the Black Molly I joined with from the tournament just recently?" he tells Black Molly. "Such a coincidence to meet you even here."

Severus gathers some dry twines and weave them together to form a net, or a basket to catch fish.

Hopefully this time he would catch some, rather than stealing from other's basket.

Severus feels a small rush of vitality in him, thanks to Zibini. "Thank you," he says while giving the goblin psychic a bow. "I feel like I have never been hurt." he adds. And back to what happen, Severus has no intention to help the twins to plead to the judges in behalf of them after what happened to them. If not for them, who were able to quell the unintended disturbance, it could have been worse.

"It has actually something to do with that rod," he points to the thing Demed is holding. "But I am not sure what exactly it is." and he still can't know the exact nature of the rod in relation to what happened to the giant crabs that attacked them.

"How dare you?!" he exclaims when the giant retaliates. Without hesitation, he launches three darts of force toward the purple-shelled giant crab. "You deserve that, you ugly vicious creature!"

Severus evokes a pair of rocks to bludgeon to crab, one on the purple crab’s space and another in the space in front of it, to making it a rocky difficult terrain for the creature, unless it skitter sideways. He then raises his magical shield. ”So they also wanted to be on the twins’ baskets?! Would they even fit?!”

Severus seems to not know what is happening to the overflowing basket. Maybe the twins just caught so many fish, and are so lucky. He is envious actually. If the team he is with just made more effort to find a better spot than they have now, they could be having that same amount of catch, and even the fish will start to jump onto their basket as well. "Of course, what fish would choose to jump on our basket located at a crappy and full of garbage fishing spot." he mutters to himself but seems loud for others to be heard.

Severus tries to recall whatever he learned from a certain biology class many years ago when he was so young. He recalls that fish like shiny objects because they get curious about them. He looks at his bag and begins to rummage for something shiny and wades it under the water to attract fish.

Severus eyes go wide when Deka calls them beggars?! Is he hearing her right?! But being not even a resident of the area but a mere visitor that got mingled by chance to their competition, well, they choose to be part of it, he shrugs it half-heartedly but will keep it in mind. He gives Deka a stern look that she might wonder what.

Severus gets back to his allies to continue what they can do to catch more fish. But why catch fish if he can steal from the twin's baskets? He tries to sneak some before he leaves, trying not to be obvious.

"Ha! We are such an unlucky group, I should say. Imagine, we found a fishing spot that is full... of garbage?! And almost every one of us, including me, can't even catch a fish! How about that? Good thing this Ulvard barbarian here gives us two points more to our one measly point." Severus tells the twins while he helps them fix their broken lines.

"This is how you actually do it to make them still connected, actually. Let me show you." Severus begins to show off again, but with skills this time, to the twins.

Despite the fact that they are unlucky with the fishing spot they found, Severus is somewhat hopeful that they could catch something from a garbage patch of the ocean. He begins by improvising some traps that could catch some fish that might wander in their area.

Severus quickly looks around for a nice beach spot that he thinks would be teeming with fish and other sea creatures. But wherever he looks, everything seems to look the same to him.

"Is this competition related to the freedom of the peoples of Vidrian just a few years ago?" Severus chimes in, impressing the Mwangi woman with some history. "Did you know that Vidrian was once called Sargava?" he says as he turns to the others but lets the twin siblings hear him. "Which was a colony of Cheliax," he continues. "And the nation's capital Anthusis was called Eleder." That's all he can share for now. "You can call me Severus." he introduces to all with a slight bow.
