With the spider dead, Senna rushes to the stage to help the others with the show. Mist runs past her and grabs for a puppet. Senna beats him to it and gives him a look to settle him down.

At Mao's warning, Senna and Mist get ready to attack. Mist growls and his fur along his back is sticking up. Senna slashes at the spider and Mist goes for a bite.

Sickle: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (9) - 4 = 51d4 - 2 ⇒ (3) - 2 = 1

Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 151d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Not seeing anything out of the ordinary, Senna skips on her way to the seaside for the puppet show. Mist follows close behind with a trot in his step to keep up.

Senna and Mist wander around town watching the townspeople. Senna wants to observe their behavior for anything odd.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

I'm not really sure what I need to do.

Before the debate, Senna is holding the bright orange mask in her hand. She runs her fingers along the design and senses the spirit of Whaoxi Sennen. Mist sniffs the mask and opens his mouth to take it. Senna waves him away.

Senna calls to Mist and places the mock weapons back on the rack. She follows the group listening to the mayor. Senna takes off to wander around town and search for berries. Mist trails close behind her.

So this is probably a silly question, but how do I know what I need to have before I can cast certain spells?

Senna sees the worried look on the red wayangs face and hesitates. She gathers herself quickly and orders Mist to move to the red wayang and bite.

Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 91d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Senna stops her little foot in frustration. She orders Mist to bite again and she slashed at the blue wayang with the back side of the sickle.

Senna stares down the blue wayang. She pats Mist and orders him to attack again. Mist lowers his head and lets out a low growl. The fur between his shoulder blades stands up. Mist leaps reaching for the wayangs leg and opens his large jaws.

Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 81d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Senna keeps eye contact with the blue wayang. She slashes at the wayang with the back of the sickle.

Sickle: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (16) - 4 = 121d4 - 2 ⇒ (1) - 2 = -1

Thanks guys. Some days are better than others. Stress makes it worse, but I find this game fun and relaxing. I’m not good at relaxing so I’ve been trying to make an effort.

I didn’t mean to ghost on you guys. I had som medical issues flair up and lost track of days. I’ll catchup on the game later today and post.

ETA: I’m recovering from a concussion I got last month. It can apparently take up to three months to completely recover. (Just sharing for some context. I’m not the flaky type and this has been a frustrating recovery).

Senna comes around the raised platform and can now see the blue wayang. Mist has head low, and he moves to Senna's side. Senna grips her sickle preparing to attack.

Senna's heart is pounding in her chest. She and Mist move behind the raised platform to go around toward the red Wayang.

Senna looks over the weapons and chooses a dagger and a sickle. The weapons feel familiar to her small hands, and she tucks the dagger into her belt. She whispers to Mist before the mayor waves his hand. Time slows to a halt and Senna hears a voice that seems to be coming from her mask. She looks around to see if anyone else can hear it. Confused and overwhelmed by the arena, Senna and Mist move to the barricade opposite Mao.

So, I'm not quite sure what I'm doing. Let me know if I mess up.

Senna places the ribbon in her hair and fits the mask to her face. She pats Mist and they follow the mayor.

Senna runs her hands over each of the masks and ribbon. She can't help but touch each one. She takes a moment and is drawn to the bright orange mask. "I choose Whaoxi Sennen." She waits to hear if anyone objects.

This would probably be the best for me. I wouldn't be unexpected on purpose but more so because I have no idea what I'm doing.

Senna found it curious that there aren't many pets on the island, but she appreciated the attention Mist was able to get so she could talk with some locals. Senna returns to the boarding house when Mist appears to tire of the extra attention.

I'm working on buying all my stuff. My daughter has been sick so I've been delayed. Also working on Mist's sheet too. Am I reading the rulebook right that my wolf gets 2 skills and 1 feat too?

Senna touches the tapestries, decorations, and linens while they are being shown to the rooms. When the food is delivered, Senna says, "Thank you" to the mayor and servers. She and Mist eat their fill. Senna goes to her room after eating to meditate for an hour. After meditating, Senna and Mist leave to explore the town.

Diplomacy (gather information): 17 + 2 = 19

I have no idea how to format the dice throw. When I did it as shown, it added the numbers weird. I rolled a 1d20

Senna regards the mayor with interest. He seems too excitable. ”Hello, mayor. It’s a pleasure to meet you. I am Senna and this here is my companion Mist. I trust it will not be an issue for him to remain close to me. We are weary from the travels and would like to rest. Mist will be more comfortable with attention after he has some rest and a full stomach.” Mist yawn showing a large mouth full of long, sharp teeth. He nudges Senna in the back giving her a small push.

Senna nods as the others respond. She is gently patting Mist and waiting for a pause so she can speak. ”I’m willing to take part in the ceremony.”

Senna finishes her tea and places her cup on the table for Old Pak to pour some more. She has only heard legends of the Wayangs and listens intently as Claudia speaks.

Senna swipes a lock of forest green hair from her face and looks to Harjandi and asks ”What is our role in the festivities as guests of honor?”

As Senna is making her best attempt to clean Mist's thick fur, Mist begins to let out a low growl. Senna sees the old man and shushes the wolf.

Senna blends in with the group and follows them inside with Mist close by. The smell of tobacco in the shop is overwhelming.

Mist now has a pick in the google doc.

I uploaded it to Google Drive. I'm copying most of the template character you suggested, but I made some changes. I've only done one other character sheet for an elf ranger so I'm a bit lost on how to finish the calculations. I'll do my purchases later today.

@GM Core Campaign I updated my stats last night and picked my companion. All of the information is in my description with the posts. I also updated the Google Doc. Do you want a pic of my wolf in the doc?

I'm a little stuck on finishing my character sheet and I still have to purchase supplies. I have 150 GP, right? I'm filling in my sheet in a pdf. Is there any way I can share it for some help? Doing it by hand is very, well, difficult.

Senna untangles herself and quickly searches for Mist. After checking The grey and brown wolf for injury, they climb out of the pit covered in a foul smelling muck. Mist begins pawing at her nose as Senna does her best to help clean Mist.

Senna ignores Wilka as she looks around for water.

Senna looks up through a few strands of forest green hair and makes eye contact Amara. "It's a pleasure, Amara." Senna watched as two others enter the teleportation circle. She shrugs and nods at her companion. Both walk through the portal.
