Sem's four arms are a blur as she keeps a beat like only a kasatha can!

With the crowd warmed up, Sem keeps them entertained by doing a handstand with two arms and beating drums with her other two!

Releasing her anti-grav drum pads to float high above the stage, Sem gets things started with some impressive leaps, dextrously laying down a starting beat while jumping in the air.

Athletics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24


While Dwinite goes to work on the rival band's equipment, Sem can't help but give them a piece of her mind. "We've come too far and through too much to let you steal our slot! Now back off or I'll make you eat these drumsticks!"

Intimidation: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24


Sem never plays it safe--on stage or in battle! He aims the ship's grappling cannon right at a diaspora wyrm and pulls the trigger!

Sem floats to the ship and then staggers down the corridors once back in normal gravity. "I haven't been on fire like that since we rocked that gig on Aballon last week!" she jokes.

Spending 1 RP and resting 10 minutes to regain stamina as we fly.

Sem thrashes around, trying to put out the flames threatening to consume him!

I'll take 1d6 burn damage at the beginning of my turn, and then I'm spending a full-round action to try to get rid of the flames (and if that doesn't work, hopefully the automatic end of round check does it. The DC will be: 10+burn damage.

Sem bellows as flames rip through her outer wear and begin scorching her flesh! She activates her magnetic boot clamps to orient herself and fires a wild shot at her attackers.

Move action to clamp, standard action to shoot. At the end of her turn, I'll attempt the Reflex save to get rid of the burning condition.

Grateful for Nuya's advice, Sem tries to push off the thug's corpse and back in the direction of the exit, grabbing her floating rifle on the way.

If it's allowed, I'll do one move action to push off the body back toward the doorway and a standard action to ready a move action to grab the rifle as I pass by it :)


I played Sem since the beginning that she didn't have her armor's built-in mag-boots activated (otherwise Zero-G isn't much fun since you're stuck in place and can't go anywhere; the separate tech-item magboots from Near Space are a lot better, as they allow you to walk around, but Sem at least doesn't have those).


Sem flails around, realising her mistake. She's got nothing to push off of and nothing to shoot with! "Hey, someone throw me a line!"

Stupid zero-gravity :) I guess Sem will do total defense until the bad guys step up or someone pulls me out of here.

"Thanks Zhaney, but this is taking too long, and we can't be late!" Leaving her rifle to float in mid-air, Sem pushes off from the nearby wall, draws a curved steel blade, and tries to cut one of the goons down to size!

Drop the rifle as a free action, push off from the wall as a move action (drawing my sword as part of it), and using a standard action to attack Yellow in melee. I'll roll an Athletics check to see if I'm off-kilter when I bump into him.

@PCs: Sem has Coordinated Shot, so anything firing ranged attacks against a foe she threatens gets a +1 bonus on that attack.

With no offense to Wings intended, I get their song stuck in my head every time I do this play by post, and it’s driving me nuts!

Sem looks a little bit insane as she bounces and spins, her drumsticks slamming faster than the eye can see.

Sem starts really getting into it, twirling and tossing the drumsticks between her fours arms while keeping a solid beat.

Sem starts laying down a sick beat using tables, the jukebox, and even beer bottles as his "drums."

I'm imagining one of those buskers or reality tv show competitors who "play the drums" on an overturned bucket and the like :)
