Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
Scrivener will move forward 50ft and attempt to trap the raging beast in an extradimensional room of his own sudden creation.
-2 SP, Ranged Bend + Extradimensional Room. It's measured in 10ft cubes, so i'll do 2x2 and 3 deep, with the spare 2 cubes deepening the north side of the pit (so 20x20 opening beneath him, 30ft deep on the south side and 40ft deep on the north side). DC 28 reflex to avoid falling in. DC 20 climb to get out. If he falls in, a door closes behind him locking him below. Door takes a standard action to open, and will have to jump up or climb up in order to open it.

Scriviner will take shots at those who flee, he can shoot up to ONE MILE.

-2 SP, casting Invisibility on myself. Sphere version, works as improved invis, lasts 14 minutes, gives me +14 to stealth.
stealth: 1d20 + 28 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 28 + 14 = 56
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
how many does he have around him?
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
oh i skimmed too hard over the part that didnt apply to me
spellcraft: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (20) + 23 = 43
do i know the CL of the bullet ward or what the effects are since i ID'd it? normally (perhaps wrongly, i dont actually know) the DM says what spell it is and i just look up the details, but this is a custom spell so i cant necessarily look it up
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
yes i attacked the mage, healer healed the mage, then i attacked the healer. i assume the healer didnt die, so i kept attacking him (or planned to, if we are still on the second round after however many weeks it has been). in any event, i assume the mythic version either increases the AC more or applies to more than just firearms because again this is a siege weapon. this is a railgun like on a US Navy destroyer we are talking about. do i need more spellcraft or is he the only spell casting?
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
i didnt attack the mage, i attacked the cleric-y one, unless you are also calling that one a mage.
spellcraft: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (19) + 23 = 42
also this is a siege weapon, if that matters, so most spells that deflect or specifically affect bullets and arrows won't work. was just reminded of that when looking for my spellcraft score.

Scrivener lets loose another thunderous shot at the one who cast the healing magics.
i have blindsight 60 in case any are coming towards me
swift action: Scout on the one that looks most like a spellcaster
knowledge (i assume local for humanoids): 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (8) + 23 = 31 vs DC of (10+CR). If I succeed I get knowledge as listed in the Scout Sphere as well as an additional net +10 to hit them. I will assume I succeed, but if on some off chance I do not, then my attack rolls take -10.

Do you need to make checks to dispel, or is it automatic?
Save was DC 29. The dispel is automatic, as a targeted Greater Dispel at CL 14 (dispelling up to 3 effects)
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
i do the same as last turn
here is the post
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
when it's my turn i do the same thing as i already did before the restart. see my last post
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
The previously stock-still construct begins to whirrrrr as palpable energy crackles in the air nearby, before letting loose a single devastating shot from the siege railgun on its body.

TL;DR: likely 55 total damage and save or suck

::I concur. Collateral damage should be minimized due to adverse effect on our relations here.::

Talky Team
Scrivener, still standing stock-still as is his usual, mentally communicates solely with willing party members (within 100ft), ::They will, in fact, attempt to give us trouble. Even now, they plan to attack at some future juncture. I propose we get their quickly, which I can effect via teleportation, and then lie in ambush.::

Team Diplomacy
Scrivener stands as still as a statue, waiting for discussions to be over.
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
::Ah. Very well. Pardon my having not been fully appraised, I didn't scry as I figured it would not give the full picture.::
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
The air in the tavern becomes stale for a split second, long enough for only the most perceptive to catch. Then, standing without making a sound, is what appears to be a construct. Those of you present when Salvis explained the mission recognize the being as Scrivener.
Mentally, though this does not bypass any protections you have and is only received if you are willing you hear, ::Our employer has pulled me from the reinforcements. He says there was attrition of some description. What is the status?::
The being(?) stands perfectly still as this all occurs.
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
Scrivener turns to the old man, pointing to the table in front of him as a u-shaped pillow of foam and silk appears.

"I am a telepath, but I dont read minds for responses usually. And anyone here near my capabilities would probably resist such if I did."
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"I can get in and out of places, create things from nothing, and hit a target from miles away at times if needed.

Scrivener raises his hand for all options.
can work for any of them, but pretty much preference is most to least in the order mentioned
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"The designation, while unconfirmed, is potentially correct. Studies show correlation between driven intellectuals and mania."
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"A charismatic sort putting our case forward, defined roles for members such as "infiltration specialist" or "trap specialist" "magic countermeasures" et cetera."
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"Ah, so they could fund our group and we leave with the goods and the money."
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"The latter is always most likely, sadly."
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"I am familiar with clockwork engineering and likely far more intelligent than this inventor. What else is known?"
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
Deadpan, the machine replies, "precisely "
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"Temporal problems are always solved merely temporarily"
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
Scrivener follows, saying nothing. Getting to the room, he scans the titles of the books as he makes his way circuitously to a seat.

Scrivener turns to regard the newcomer.
great start to my dice rolling!!
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"Our particular services are needed. I wonder to what services they refer."
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"Invitation and subsequent curiosity. I take it you were also invited?"
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"One wild cider, I suppose." After all, it would be rude to resist and his brain mass could suffer one drink. A serving of fruit wouldnt hurt.
scrivener actually looks like this currently rather than a brain in a jar. but there is a brain iside.
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
The large construct turns to the group assembled before addressing them all telepathically. "I have forgotten to introduce myself. I am called Scrivener."
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"I was given no reason. Perhaps curiosity is enough."
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"Drinking dulls the senses with no expanded benefits. In safe situations I'd use psychotropic drugs, but not on a job."
I could detect that, but only on a pretty good roll
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
With the sound of well-oiled servos in action, Scrivener tilts slightly up to look at the rafters (blindsight), then looks back to Hercules before addressing everyone mentally (including the mysterious observer above), "I can be heard by everyone if I so choose."
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"of course I am not offering. I'm just here because of the letters."
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
"I do, in fact, communicate in this fashion. What brings you here? A large drink?"
Contemplative Incanter/Scholar/Technician 10
While in his workshop, filling out a report on his latest travels, Scrivener sees an envelope just appear from nothing on his desk. "Delightfully suspicious," he thinks. Upon reading its contents, he would have sighed if he could have. His species had evolved past such inefficiencies eons ago.
Closing out his report succinctly, he sealed it in a manila envelope and carried it with him as he floated up into his suit. He walked out of the grey building by way of the usual portal that took him back to the Steamstriders compound. Dropping off his report in the deposit box for processing, he walked out the regular door and down the street.
Towering over *most* other residents here, it was easy to make his way to the Crossing House. Fortunately, Hyratean was such a cosmopolitan place that the doors were sized for all types. This allowed him to fit even his huge mechanical frame through the door and into the meeting area.
soooooo there was gonna be some RP?
