Reflex Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Shalala begins a jaunty sea tune to raise everyone’s spirits
Inspire courage +1 is up
She will then guide sir Pericles to land and pull out her long spear

Having failed to calm the hippogriff, Shalala will try to disentangle the rider and then cast a cure spell on him
cure light: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
“Don’t worry sir, I’ve got you. I’m actually quite experienced in water rescue. Please watch the dress though”

Shalala begins singing a song about preparing a boat for a seafaring ball to inspire courage in her companions (+1)
Not wanting to drag her dress on the dirty deck she will stay where she is and pull out a long spear
without sir Pericles she has a 5 ft move sped right now. She definitely would have made one of you carry her up here

Sorry for the sparse posts guys. I have my thesis committee meting tomorrow, and they will decide when I can defend my thesis, so I have been pretty preoccupied

"Ewwww, I would really rather not touch that"
Shalala pulls out an acid flask in case something goes south

Sounds Good

Sense Motive: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7

Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10

"That Coral is just sooooo pretty"

"Seems straight-forward enough"
Shalala takes out her longspear and guides Sir Pericles toward the wreckage
If anyone wants to be in front she will make way for them, otherwise she's going in

Shalala's disappointment at the lack of shoes is quickly dispelled when El-gabalawi brings up swimming
"Im ready, let us go!"

"I do hope they remembered to provide Sir Pericles proper sleeping shoes this time." Shalala gives her horse a pat

I have 36g to spend if anyone wants to pool resources for something cool

Also, feeling really good about buying that swan boat :>

Darn it, I need to remember to preview

[b]"And...uh...maybe some more details on the goblin tribe and the area....im still learning this area..."[b/]
Tace nervously clears his throat

Sounds good
Also, I am happy with that order
Nothin like a party with a druid frontliner :D

I'm going to post official errata in this thread as well, so no one has to go hunting for it. So far:

Official Errata<Source>
-All PCs are trained in being unarmored.
-Both Alchemists and Druids should be trained in 3 skills (+ Int Mod) each (instead of 2 and 4 respectively).
-Alchemists can use Quick Alchemy for any alchemical item in their formula book.

Noooooo, my skill points!!!!!

I will have my character in tonight
I actually wrote it up over the weekend, but have just been trying to figure out why he would be in magnimar in the first place :P

An update on Pax Unplugged.
We have more table space available and have expanded the schedule. This of course means we could use a few more GMs. So if you are interested in volunteering your time, we would love to see you there!

Thanks guys :)

An update on Pax Unplugged. We have more table space available now and have expanded the schedule. This of course means we could use a few more GMs. So if you are interested in volunteering your time, we would love to see you there.

We can get scenarios to GMs the week before and we will have chronicle sheets printed for GMs at the convention.

Also, thank you Shaudius, for pointing out the SFS error. We will be offering a second table of SFS 1-05 instead of 1-06.

Hey everyone!

The Philadelphia Pathfinder Society Lodge contacted PFS HQ and the PAX Unplugged team after seeing the many threads on the question of PFS at PAX Unplugged, and we managed to scrounge together a few tables of events for attendees! (Don't thank me, I'm just the messanger: Venture-Captain Benn Roe and soon-to-be-Venture-Agent Robyn Allen did all of the real work putting this together.)

Philly Lodge has a WarHorn that you can use to sign up for PFS games at PAX Unplugged here, and we would love if you guys helped us spread the word (and the link) around.

I don't quite know all of the details, but from what I understand PAX is putting a lot of pressure on Benn and Robyn to make sure we have games at all of the tables they've given us, so if you sign up for something the team REALLY needs you to make sure that you show up to your table on time!

If you have any questions and you're on Facebook, you can either PM them t me here, or send them to me on our Facebook Group and I'll do everything I can to get you any additional information that you're looking for.

Thanks!

Venture-Agent Alex Augunas (Philadelphia)

Also, we now have convention support for any of you potential GMs out there :D

Hey guys,
The Philly pathfinder society will be offering pathfinder and starfinder scenarios at PAX. Details, schedule and per-registration can be found here:
https://warhorn.net/events/pax-unplugged-pathfinder

Also, we have Con support if anyone wants to pick up GMing some games

Happy Gaming!

Well, my spelling issues aside

I understand that a swarm would not get a +1 to damage from magic fang, I am trying to clarify that a swarm would retain the effects of a single target spell in swarm form (ie natural attacks count as magic in the case of magic fang). Maybe a better example would be the resist energy spell.

With the AoMF, im wondering if say the familiar had a holy amulet, would it get another 2d6 holy damage against evil dudes in swarm form.

As for improved familiar. To my understanding having a familiar and treating your class levels as your wizard levels for it counts as having the familiar class feature, which is all you need to take improved familiar. I understand that you might not be able to get an imp, but improved familiar lets you apply templates. so could I have a celestial centipede?

Thanks for the input

1 person marked this as FAQ candidate.

I really like the flavor of the swarm monger but I have a couple questions about how some of the abilities work

1. If the fecal familiar has modifications to its damage such as a poison or special ability from an AoMF does it retain these as per the swarm template?

2. If a single target spell is cast on the fecal familiar, such as bark skin or magic fang, does it retain the effects in swarm form or does it get "diluted" out?

3. Is this archetype eligible for improved familiar? Starting familiars are specified, but nothing says that fecal familiar is limited to those types for it to function.

4. Does swarm skin wild shape function like the spell in that you can do nothing except control yourself or would natural spell and wild speech allow you to also cast or direct your familiar?
