![]() Thanks guys :) An update on Pax Unplugged. We have more table space available now and have expanded the schedule. This of course means we could use a few more GMs. So if you are interested in volunteering your time, we would love to see you there. We can get scenarios to GMs the week before and we will have chronicle sheets printed for GMs at the convention. Here is the pre-registration link again
Also, thank you Shaudius, for pointing out the SFS error. We will be offering a second table of SFS 1-05 instead of 1-06. ![]()

![]() Well, my spelling issues aside I understand that a swarm would not get a +1 to damage from magic fang, I am trying to clarify that a swarm would retain the effects of a single target spell in swarm form (ie natural attacks count as magic in the case of magic fang). Maybe a better example would be the resist energy spell. With the AoMF, im wondering if say the familiar had a holy amulet, would it get another 2d6 holy damage against evil dudes in swarm form. As for improved familiar. To my understanding having a familiar and treating your class levels as your wizard levels for it counts as having the familiar class feature, which is all you need to take improved familiar. I understand that you might not be able to get an imp, but improved familiar lets you apply templates. so could I have a celestial centipede? Thanks for the input ![]()
![]() I really like the flavor of the swarm monger but I have a couple questions about how some of the abilities work 1. If the fecal familiar has modifications to its damage such as a poison or special ability from an AoMF does it retain these as per the swarm template? 2. If a single target spell is cast on the fecal familiar, such as bark skin or magic fang, does it retain the effects in swarm form or does it get "diluted" out? 3. Is this archetype eligible for improved familiar? Starting familiars are specified, but nothing says that fecal familiar is limited to those types for it to function. 4. Does swarm skin wild shape function like the spell in that you can do nothing except control yourself or would natural spell and wild speech allow you to also cast or direct your familiar? |
