Any possibility of this art being sold without the marketing dress? I would seriously consider ordering a few of these without any graphics on them but the paintings themselves. And this is coming from a graphic designer.

Hi all,

About to run a homebrew Jade Regent game in a few weeks and was curious how Profession skill has worked for your players. Have you found it used? With players basically on the road the whole time, I'm curious how or if certain professions may not be justified, or is the money made per week hand-waived?

Obviously, I could see teaching, cooking, fortune-telling, oratory, writing, and stuff that's doable on the road. But what if some one's a logger, smithy, etc?

Hmm... planning to check this out soon!

Hi,

Many of the MMO's I've purchased in the past that I had monthly subscriptions to, but then went free to play later in life, blocked me from being able to play characters on that account entirely because it was at one point a premium account.

I notice in the FAQ, the only real statement discussing subject says the following:

"During Beta the game will only be available to subscribers. In the long term we expect to have options for people to use microtransactions instead of subscriptions to play."

Does this mean there are no subscriptions at all?
Is it all F2P once you've purchased/crowdforged yourself a copy of the game?
Will this game be F2P in a limited sense for people who do not wish to pay anything?

I've pledged now, but I'm reluctant to keep it after considering my 'plight' with older MMO's that I once subscribed to that I now can't go back in to the occasional open night with time to burn.

Any insight on this subject is welcome. Thanks!

Didn't even know about the two other JR adventures. Will have to add those to my already expanded campaign next year. Excited about this Ki supplement too. Thanks for the head's up!

Page 119 of the Inner Sea World Guide lands you in the center of the article on the kingdom of Mendev, and the art on that page is baffling to me. I was hoping someone could help explain what I cannot. Who wears such a badge? The Mendevian Crusaders themselves? Or the demons? The way the art is depicted, it seems a badge that promotes the demon side rather than the Mendevians. If it is, that would make sense, expect the article is mostly about the Mendevians.

If it was merely a picture depicting a slain demon on a mantle, that could also make sense, but I at least find it hard for LG aligned individuals wearing that on their person. But maybe that's just me. Someone with more knowledge on the decision making, feel free to correct me.

Found typo when creating a new alias (this one). When creating a new post or replying, one sees the following dialogue in red:

Quote:

You have made 0 posts as "<username>". You can change your avatar name until you have posted 10 messages to the messageboards.

Click here to change your avatar name.

If you do not wish to change your avatar name, you can ignore this message.

The second sentence should read as the following:

So I've got a build in mind, but I've found it quite difficult to find the right miniature for him. So I look to the pros on this board:

My character is a divine archer paladin of Aasimar race (a human mini will do, even an elf, as long as he's not too skinny; I can sand off the ears). Oh and if at all possible: short hair. I've seen some perfect female archers, but a huge lack of male archer minis. I'd like something more on the lines of a Tower Guard, where's he got some armor, and less hood action. But if you've found one that might fit that description, I'm willing to take a look. I've seen so many miniatures sites my eyes are about to bug out.

Hi,

I've got a CL3 hawk (eagle) companion for a druid.

CORE RAW says that the Eagle/Roc/Hawk Animal Companion has 2 talon attack of 1d4 (rolling 2 d4's). Yet, when you look at Bestiary's "Table 3–1: Natural Attacks by Size", it shows 1d3 for a small creature using talons.

So is one of them incorrect, or am I missing something? Thanks!

Hi,

A friend of mine brought up a very good point to which I second the notion: Is there an official PFS character sheet download option without our Paizo account info (name and email) on it? I totally get the use for stuff through the store being personalized, but is there just a raw one that can be downloaded for the sake of giving out to new players as a PFS GM that wouldn't include your personal info?

Perhaps it is on the site, but its not easily found by yours truly.

This shirt, you know... it's okay. Nothin' special.

Looking forward to this one!

And she loved it! We started our Legacy of Fire campaign, this being her first roleplaying experience ever. I rolled up her character along with input on what she wanted to play: I found that an elf hawk (eagle) shaman fit with what she she wanted. She even did the killing blow to the first creature we had combat with :)

I was crazy nervous, because I was afraid she'd be scared off, but she loves the collaborative story element and picked up on the rolling and adding your stats very quickly. Had to share this with the rest of the Paizo community. Victory and hopefully plenty more RPG's in our future!

Hail Pathfinders,

This may seem very non-issue to some, but as Society rules mention that the core rules require players to follow them, I believe it warrants some discussion.

Trail rations, while only 5 sp/day and waterskins being 1 gp in cost, has me wondering about each scenario I go on. Excluding Absalom-based PFS adventures, unless it is assumed we don't stop in to a tavern or watering hole in that part of the town.

The chronicle sheet requires that we report any items bought or sold. Are necessities for living such as trail rations and water (based on days within adventure or time spent traveling)required to be included in these costs? This will be exceptionally important in regards to Season 3 when we start traveling across the planet to Tian Xia and the like. But even in the Inner Sea region, that is still many, many days travel by land and sea. Food and water are necessary on such journeys. The food costs stated above start to stack up fast.

My purpose for bringing this up is not to add another step to the wrap up of a scenario, but it's something that's been nagging me since I joined the Society over a year ago. I assume it is waived, as it's never been discussed, but would like some peace for my conscience about this ruling.

Hi,

Just seeing if the opt-in subscription pickup is happening again this year at PaizoCon?

Also, would this include any items in our sidecart? Thanks!

Hi, I'm taking my second cleric level and was wondering what the rules are on domains, as I couldn't explicitly find them. I have two domains from the core book, but was wondering if I had the legal option to replace them with APG subdomains or are my domains I chose at creation permanent, especially in the case of Society. If I can't, that's fine but was weighing my options. Thanks!

I am confused by the wording "...as a bonus feat" and what it implies for the Pathfinder system.

I will use a specific example, as its the primary reason that's befuddled me.

Rogue talent > Finesse Rogue
A rogue that selects his talent gains Weapon Finesse as a bonus feat.

Condition: My current CL is 3, thus my 2nd Feat can be taken. I am about to use this CL for my 2nd level in Rogue.

My question is in relation to this specific instance and abroad, as I've seen the phrase elsewhere, so here goes:

Upon taking this talent, does Weapon Finesse become my CL3 Feat or is it a a selected feat in addition to my CL3 Feat (thus gaining two feats this level)?

Thanks!

Before fleshing out the path for my PFS character, I wanted to ensure a Yes to the following question as I found no information on it on my own:

Is multiclassing allowed in Pathfinder Society play?

Silver Crusade

I'm on a bit of a Viking kick lately. Being new to the setting of Golarion, I wanted to put the question out there: is there any culture pulling from Norse culture? I'm considering a character build that has that background, but didn't want to just pull it out of nowhere if it didn't fit in the world.

My secondary question, if the answer is yes, what books should I check out with that info?

Thanks!
