Can an earth-blooded sorc just cast a bunch of shocking grasps to mask or counteract this effect?

Does having a code violate the antipaladin code?

D&D has been toying with this since at least as far back as 2nd Ed. I think it was a wise decision not to tackle a class builder in ACG (and agree that the race builder is clunky and far from balanced). But I do rather like a number of the new "modular" archetypes that trade out a standard class ability for one of co parable power from another class.

I've always handles them as LE. I can even kind of get behind a CG "holy liberator" style character, but find CE "codes" a bit hard to fathom.

If it's due to their religious beliefs, they may be equally as upset with Random atheism as they are general polytheism. Or clerics gaining faith-based powers through godless ideals. Or pagan-seeming druids or witches for that matter. Or perhaps even the notion of devils and demons walking the earth. Sounds like you need to have a nice, LONG chat about comfort levels.
