Correct, there is no such thing as too many armoured hulks :) I think that setting the cutoff for Sunday sounds reasonable, there is plenty of interest so I guess the seriously keen parties will have submissions ready by then. As far as backstory goes, my character is going to be a born and bred local of torch, an armoursmith by trade. I assumed you were chasing a towns person feel for the newer characters so I've approached it as such. Is the Technic League still a part of your version of Numeria? I'm leaning towards having lost my livelihood due to their almost overbearing taxation laws (justifying the low starting gold, and providing a reason to take up as an adventurer).

The sigma's crew consists of six members, commanded by Sergeant Phillip Getchel, and the rest of the crew consist of Privates Jim Grunswith, Alden Taylor, Alina Schiffleger, Bob Spangler and Gil Schultz. You get an unclassified version of each of their military records, which seem reasonable to their experiences and so on. GM spoiler as written above "Intel shows a crew of six members, one Sergeant and five grunts. I've uploaded their records to the data pad. Service history shows nothing out of the ordinary for any of 'em, so there's no reason so far to assume foul play. Didn't get access to classified records though, so there could be something there that the Admiral doesn't want us knowing. Far as I can tell, the only reason they took the Sigma so far out is lack of another boat. " Red states matter-of-factly.
Have you decided a cutoff date for submissions? I'd just take a look at your party, and maybe choose characters which compliment your current lineup. At a glance, it seems you're short on divine casters and maybe a rogue. And armoured hulk barbarians; you definitely need more armoured hulk barbarians :P

He approaches the console and takes a seat. Typing furiously, he seems to be searching for something specific. Red is looking for further information on the crew of scout ship sigma, and the geology and inhabitants of Kask.
Almost done guys, Redrick has been statted out as a melee tank (barbarian armoured hulk archetype.) I'm going for a space marine feel with the mech armour, and hopefully the ability to soak a lot of damage. For flavour, do you think it would be ok if I use a tower shield but presented it as a portable barrier generator? I'm happy to keep the stats identical, I'd just replace drawing and fixing it to my arm with a full round activation method ( provoking attacks of opportunity). Also, how do we go about getting a licence for weapons? I really want to use an energy sword, I just don't want to get arrested straight off the bat |
