![]() K, I remade this character for this campaign. I personally really enjoy his backstory and would like to see where a DM could take it. It was kind of a hack job to make slight modifications to it, and I could probably do a better job with it if I had a couple hours to do it, but I'm a little strapped for time today. ![]()

![]() Either a RotRL, or Kingmaker. Specifically for people who haven't yet had the good fortune to be picked for pbp games. The last couple games I applied to I had to drop before players were picked for family reasons, but I've personally applied to several in the last couple years and never been picked. This may be because of the character's back-stories/the class/build i went for not fitting. Either way, several times I've seen the same person applying and getting picked for 2-3 games at a time albeit with different characters, and it gets annoying. I'm not saying those people don't deserve to get a chance to play, but it would be nice if some others of us could too. So if there is a willing DM out there, I for one would greatly appreciate it. ![]()
![]() MotG I'm down for either group, I think I'd prefer mature sandbox given Rassil's somewhat darker past (though he doesn't remember actually Committing the mass murder in the orphanage), but I'm also interested to see how ROTR is supposed to play linear wise, we are kinda doing an extremely open sandboxy one in my PnP group but I'm pretty sure we will start ignoring the books altogether in that group soon. ![]()
![]() Idunno about the others, but I roll most of my stuff using Hero Lab, and I don't have every single addon for it yet, as I'm sort-of a tight ass. If it's not in my version of HL or in one of the dozen or so books that i have laying around the apartment, (or if I haven't taken the time to find it in said books) I don't use it in a character, lol. I've never even heard of Wandermeal and the supplementations before lol. ![]()
![]() ok im curious about somthing, ive wanted to play this character for quite some time, one thing im curious about is, magi have light armor prof, but do they still take the arcane failure penalty from light armor? ill adjust his storyline to say sandpoint and change a couple ablilities around but he is a finished character for the most part. ![]()
![]() dotting for interest. Something like this to me seems really interesting... some starting rules could be extremely limiting because of the fact that we will be exploring/expanding/creating this world. since this is a small village im thinking somewhere around 150 people max live here. the village gold supply would be extremely limited. starting gold should be as well. no1 should be able to start with more than maybe a single martial weapon, and nothing very fancy at that... light armor only (starting out)... no masterworks or magical items save maybe 1-2 CLW potions from the local priest... would you also maybe consider having 2 groups running through this world completely separate from each other except maybe the occasional crossing path? this would give you alot more information for the world and its environs... of course they would use the same discussion board but maybe we post in different boards or mark which group we're in. i would say 15 pt buy max for something like this since were supposed to be average people at first then step up to do something different. and maybe even limit caster classes at the start. idunno i could have alot of fun with this let me know the character creation rules and ill roll one up |
