Seeing that his spell did something at least Raphael casts it once again.

”I’d like to point out I said maybe harmless.“ Raphael says annoyingly calm as he casts disrupt undead hoping that the furnace was powered by a restless spirit.

Raphael smirks at his wife’s joke. ”Yes I suppose no one told them that’s no way to get a ‘head’ in life.“ He chuckles as he makes a quick arcane motion and a bright ray of positive energy flys out at the heads followed quickly by an arrow fired with entering accuracy.

Yea I thought I had cast it as we came in but I did not.

When the door closes shutting them away in darkness Raphael casts a quick spell and with a snap of his fingers four glowing balls of light appear illuminating the room.

Before allowing the potions to be put away Raphael tries to identify them.


If the hinges are visible I do have a wire saw than should be able to cut through them....it would just take a little while.


Raphael keeps his bow at the ready as they begin to explore the prison.


Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Oh look I think I've got some lint on my shoulder. What's that? A troll behind me nonsense.

Raphael enters following the others his bow at the ready. He tries to keep aware of his surroundings but a spiderweb breaks across his face and he has a moment. Now Raphael wasn't afraid of spiders they just freaked him out all those legs and eyes, a perfectly normal reaction.

After regaining his composure and a quick glance to make sure no one saw. He continues onto the prison grounds.

"Damn...." Raphael mutters after reading the journal entries. "The Whispering Way is a group of necromancers. Tar-Baphon also know as the Whispering Tyrant was a member of their little club. I wish the professor had sent us a letter if he suspected they were involved."

"Has anything strange been happening in town?" Raphael asks as he leans his longbow against his chair in easy reach. After the cemetery incident he made sure to pick it up on the way to the house.


"It seems our meeting with the professor differed significantly from the rest of you. We interrupted some thieves trying to rob him on the road. We had actually been planning to come here in the next month or so...fate obviously had other plans for us though." Raphael says as both he and Livana step forward hands intertwined.


"What in the nine hells are you idiots talking about? Necromancer you see this mark, it's a slayers mark I hunt undead and other creatures you think I'd befriend a necromancer. Now move before I get upset and do something you'll regret later." Raphael growls as he shifts the weight he carries to pull at the collar of his leathers revealing the spiral of pharasma over his heart.

Apparently there is no "official" knowledge check for lycanthropy...what check would you use oh great and powerful ruler of the dice?


What's this about... Raphael thinks to himself as he watches over the assembled men blocking the path. He thinks longingly over his longbow he left at the inn he and Livana had rented. He didn't think these men would resort to violence but he'd seen scared villagers lash out before. If it came down to it he'd just make fear his better weapon.

Alright all done this will give us a range focus and some arcane firepower. Can't wait till I can cast fireball and pick off the survivors with the bow.

The darts are so I can track my remaining cards since they are treated as such...which leads me to this question would you be willing to let the fact that I need quick draw slide to use more than one card or do you want me to take the feat?
