A Kingmaker hardcover release in conjunction with the upcoming video game would be sweet.
I second the wish for other elements, especially water!
I'm not familiar with this particular archetype, but for my house rules I'd allow it on a case by case basis. If the character concept the PC is going for necessitates using an archetype that normally be barred from because of RAW, like a racial archetype from the ARG for example*, you can use it. I've even taken it further and included class features, within reason, though none of my players took me up on that.
*I have a primary supporting NPC that uses an archetype belonging to another race, but since it contained class features that really didn't feel tied down to that concept, I took it. In fairness, I gave the option to my players should they ever want it, provided I signed off on it.
I've been wondering this myself as I'm currently considering wanting to run a few PF adventure paths with Cypher instead to help with GM prep time.

I've done what I can to promote it. Really appreciate the FGG team for putting this together. I love me some viking stories.
Got a question about tengu coverage: does this go into detail the different clans/cultures that exist in Golarion? Any of them by chance described differently than just the historical raven-like people?
I would second a motion to comb through 3rd party material and check them out. Or, make your own! The tools are certainly there.
Oh that chapter title... perfect.
This will be an insta-buy. Finally, I'll get a chance to check out the elf and dwarf options... and revamped at that!

Extra word in the second paragraph of the section Playing the Game, from the Getting Started chapter of the PRD.

Beautiful cover, Legendary! The whole thing! Well done.
Running into the "Personalizing..." stick too. I guess I'll sleep on it and check it out tomorrow.

Celadon Shores is the Oriental Adventures Cerulean Seas supplement, and it is coming along swimmingly.
Oh, the pun. It kills! :)
I am VERY much excited about this supplement. Day one purchase.
Hi Liz, the link on the first thumbnail (PZO30061-A.jpg) isn't firing properly.
I too had these separate NPCs sitting in my DriveThru list for years now. This was the time to get them. Quite looking forward to the final product. Congrats, Rite team!

So just to be clear, it's less like the Race Builder and more like Designing Spells section of the Mastering Magic chapter? I'm actually still okay with this either way.

I originally had no desire to pick this book up. That was until I read this part in the description:
"Plenty of advice on how to construct a new character class, archetype, or prestige class, giving the GM powerful tools to make the rules they need for their game."
Insta-buy. :)

Brynn was definitely inspired by Firefox.
Any possibility of this art being sold without the marketing dress? I would seriously consider ordering a few of these without any graphics on them but the paintings themselves. And this is coming from a graphic designer.

Agreeing with Zhayne here. Naruto, at this point in the manga, has mythic plus multiple classes. Not bad for a 16 year old.
I just started my campaign a few weeks back, so I'll be studying up on the best house rules. Thanks for the tips all.
I try to use the fluff as much as possible, but freely deviate when I find cool options that seem bound to a race or class. The mechanics for Dreamweaver Witch, for instance, really appealed to me for a tengu character. Nothing in the description was compelling enough to me that it had to be bound to the changeling, according to RAW.
I use my Waterfront Tavern blank side as my standard blank right now. It's technically all water, but it's subtle enough to be used for anything. I plan to pick up the Basic Terrain Multi-Pack to add a little more flavor.
Those who pre-ordered with Amazon in US can probably expect it around July 11th.
Hi all,
About to run a homebrew Jade Regent game in a few weeks and was curious how Profession skill has worked for your players. Have you found it used? With players basically on the road the whole time, I'm curious how or if certain professions may not be justified, or is the money made per week hand-waived?
Obviously, I could see teaching, cooking, fortune-telling, oratory, writing, and stuff that's doable on the road. But what if some one's a logger, smithy, etc?

I really want to see Carrion Crown next in line. That would mean hope for backwards-support for Jade Regent (what I'm running) and beyond. Obviously, they gotta support Wrath of the Righteous and beyond first and foremost, but in 'off season' retro-active releases would be immensely appreciated.
CRobledo wrote: so, I am assuming this box only comes with medium bases? If so do we know how many? The product description does not out-and-out say it includes bases. If this is the case and you never picked up a Bestiary Box, just add a pack of 20 medium bases to your sidecart and you should be set to unleash all four Cutthroat Lawyers on your unsuspecting PC's!
Nope, but it's on my radar to check out in the future. I've got a Rune-domain Inquisitor/Archivist Bard that this class may tempt me to splash into.
This may of came up already, but I appreciate that the Relationship rules wording have changed in regards to experience. It's not just "you gain" but "your party gains". This works better for my campaign as my players are cool with me giving out the xp will be given out on an even field. But what's great is, you can use the old wording if each person's xp is on it's own track. Yay flexible options!
I also appreciate the cool Ulfen artwork in the Honor section.
Printer friendly to me, especially related to roleplaying game PDFs means effectively shutting off a) background textures, b) top, bottom, and edge dressing, and c) photos. Since these are produced in InDesign (unless I'm mistaken), shutting off these layers doesn't necessarily sound that difficult, but it is moderately time consuming to ensure each page displays as correct as possible. I would love something like this, especially to print out sections of AP's.
John Mark Brown wrote: On amazon, it is saying it won't be released till January 2014. Is this correct? Hi, John. I noticed that too. Its highly unlikely. Amazon's machine is likely bugging out or simply playing it safe. I'm guessing a mid-July delivery through them.
Brutal Ben wrote: Is it me, or is this running 8 months late? Ben, read through the last three pages. It's not just you. We've been waiting a long time for this one. To my memory, it's the most delayed product Paizo's ever put out. Printing issues happen, but it'll make the release so much sweeter when it's finally here!
is there plans for all the Faces in this series getting a bundled book treatment upon completion? Perhaps first I should ask: Are there plans for completion? If you keep going, by all means, keep going. Just curious :) This is a fun series.

Hey! Cell phones are supposed to be off when you're in the theater!
Not during previews. Oft times you need your phone out to communicate with party members who are coming in late. It's when the last trailer plays that signals the hard cut off.
And it was a fun movie!
The early reactions sounds very promising. Definitely picking this up the moment the PDF drops.

Steven "Troll" O'Neal wrote: There is not a larger size than Colossal. It was mentioned earlier in the thread, or the announcement thread. Sorry. Doesn't mean their can't be different sizes within the category of Colossal... :D
I'd like to know the answer to that question, myself.
It's instances like this that I don't like those cards or fumble breaking rules. It just seems too harsh, especially if there happens to be no replacement weapon at your disposal. If I'm running the game, I'll come up with an alternative penalty that may put a damper on the moment (i.e. You lose your grip on the weapon while swinging and it falls to the ground just out of reach).
Yeah, this book sounds better with each preview. Definite day one buy!
