Guys, after much consideration I have decided that, unfortunately, I am going to withdraw Ardash from this campaign. While the other party members have been really great, and chill you've been doing a fine job running things, I'm just having an awful hard time keeping up with the story with the erratic posting rate. We all have our real lives to deal with and, trust me, I am no different. But this is more of a personal preference and I hope you all can continue on and run the length of this thing without your friendly neighborhood android.
I really have enjoyed some of our RPing and combat here, especially the decontamination chamber, that was fun. And I hope I get a chance to play with you all again sometime down the road. Until then, take care.
Full disclosure for me: I will probably end up looking for a Giantslayer game to get into, since that AP looks right up my alley!

Unfortunately, I don't think it would make sense in-character for Ardash to delay, since he was poised and ready to assault the threat once it presented itself. D'oh!
Reacting slower than some of the others, Ardash realizes that the threat is coming from behind the party. He quickly navigates through the others to stand in front of the automaton, hoping to put an end to the threat before it can harm the other party members.

Yes, for the love of Asmodeus, please start rolling our initiatives in your combat posts. It would just save us all so much time. Just have them written out in a word document and copy and paste when needed. That is what I do for most of my rolls. Also, I think the map has some people confused. Are we moving from east to west or west to east? Either way, Ardash is where I want him to be, between the threat and the rest of the party.

Confused by Valia's actions, but interpreting them as meaning there is danger, Ardash cuts off any conversation and swiftly makes for the door. After obtaining his weapons, he quickly dashes after Valia, pacing him all the way back to the Foundry. Seeing him pull open the doors and rush in, Ardash slows his pace, drawing his greatsword. Cautiously approaching the Foundry, he cracks the door open and peers inside. "Where is the danger?" He asks Valia as quietly as he can muster.

He gives his drink token to Valia, anticipating him to be the type that enjoys these types of indulgences. If the party is lead directly to meet with Ulreth, Ardash will accompany them, on guard at all times, even without his weapons.
If it appears the party will be partaking in some of the games of chance, Ardash, uninterested in those, will make his way to the area where they host the 'dire rat fights and fisticuffs', intrigued by the bizarre practice of betting while lives are potentially at stake. He watches with flat shimmering eyes, trying to discern exactly what the appeal of this sort of sport could be.

I agree we check out the casino. Sorry I've been silent in town. I'm trying to play up the silent android angle and I also feel like he wouldn't be very materialistic, so he probably won't do any shopping or claim any gear unless someone actually points out to him directly that it would be an upgrade for him.
But I guess that'll have to wait until it is made clear to the rest of the group that Ardash is actually an android. Until then he is content with the treasure going towards the benefit of the group and its members.

He rushes with the others back to the concealing chamber known as the Biolock. After the door is safely closed and the threat of danger has passed, Ardash looks to Sharae, "Thank you for restoring me. It seems we are at an impasse. There is a very low probability that we could make it past those monstrosities with our lives. No matter what we choose to do next, I am in need of rest."

As the others discussed possible reasons for their new surroundings, he couldn't help believe that they had been transported and that they were no longer under Torch.

Afterwards he turns his gaze skyward, "These light sources intrigue me as well. They seem to be mechanical in nature as opposed to magical. I would ponder the source of their power and the method by which they operate."

Yeah, I think we've briefly touched upon the issue earlier. The way I see it, he is an android, but to him that is normal, so he's not prancing around with a big sign on his back. So if someone were to ask him, he would tell them, but he's not going to go out of his way to make it known to all.
It would be like if Anody showed up and starting yelling at the top of his lungs, "Hey look everyone, I'm a gnome!" That would just be silly.
The issue will be made plain the first time Ardash uses his nanite surge ability and his tattoos glow like a torch. :)

Ardash has darkvision so he doesn't require a light source.
Once he spots the carving, Ardash will bring it to the attention of the rest of the group, "A message perhaps? Maybe from our lost professor, as that would be the first initial of his given name?"
As usual Ardash joins Valia on the front lines. He tenses as the voice booms from seemingly nowhere. Realizing that understanding this language would prove invaluable, he also expresses interest in tutoring from the professor. "Yes, if you have the time, I would also seek training in this language. We must act upon any advantage presented to us, and your proficiency will be a boon to us all."
Upon seeing the robot, all other thoughts leave Ardash as he focus becomes wholly absorbed in inspecting the automaton. Is there any knowledge Ardash could gain considering his background as a galvanic saboteur?

Ardash considers the others, the metallic sheen in his eyes visible in the dim light, "I see no reason why we can't investigate further while our breathing enchantment is still active. I would prefer to not find the professor deceased as these others. Haste in completing this task is vital." He says that last with a tone of finality and turns to the glaucite doors, pushing them open, scanning the chamber beyond.

Yep, going the switch-hitter ranger route, as it seemed like a mechanically sound build. I appreciate that it alleviates some of the feat issues so I didn't feel pigeonholed into human.
