Valeros eyes Thulgrun and says "Good idea" and then tells the elf "I am not a good tracker."

Valeros inspects the dent in his shield, smiles a bit and then follows the others.

"Did we ... win?" Valeros blurts out when the air of combat seeps away. "Hey Kyra! Did you see what I did?"

Valeros will take the opportunity to swing his shield boss at the foe...

AoO Shield Boss: 1d20 + 14 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 14 + 1 = 28...DMG B: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (5, 1) + 4 = 10

"Surrender and stay down! Last warning!" the warrior tells the gnome...

Valeros moves up next tot he dwarf after finishing off the minions...he then sees Anri moving her hands around in some weird way and knows she is casting some sort of spell and advances no further. "Sneaky spellcasters." he mutters about the invisible foe.

Yes, he forgot bless...

Valeros moves up to attack the orange foe...

Longsword+1 1st ATK: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18...DMG1: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (4, 2) + 4 = 10

and then swings again at the same foe...

Longsword+1 1st ATK: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17...DMG1: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (2, 4) + 4 = 10

"I will deal with these fools! Move to get the caster!" he bellows out.

apologies if Valeros is not doing much in combat as I read up on the rules. There are no more free AoO's correct? And no more 5ft step. Can Valeros move through the enemies positions and end up behind them to flank without getting hit? Assuming none of the foes have the AoO Feat?

"Well about time something interesting happens!" Valeros says as he moves forward but sees his way blocked by some of the less martial members of the group. "When you are ready you can move out of the way so that a proper fight can begin..." he tells Leo and Kyra as he moves to their rear flank with his sword and shield ready.

Valeros is impressed with the wizards ability to pry open the lock!

"well i guess it is about time for things to get interesting..." Valeros whispers to the others as he hefts his shield and draws his sword. He joins Tanathil in looking around to see what is out of place.

"What is elec troniks?" Valeros asks to the book people in the group. He then spits on the ground when the talk turns to undead. "Vile things..." he mutters under his breath. He follows the others to the potion shop.

apologies, i got called in to work all weekend due to folks being sick.

Valeros waits with the others and just watches the banter between the group and Miro. He is mostly sniffing the air around them for some good food. As a soldier he is always hungry. When told by Miro about others in the market that may know a thing or two Valeros goes over to them in turn and tries to get to the bottom of things.

Valeros Diplomacy with Orin: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22 Valeros walks with Kyra and inject flattering comments about his stall and his goods as Kyra does the main talking.

He then rushes over to help Bia with moving the timber...Athletics: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15

"i knew we would end up at the market eventually... bad things always happen there..." Valeros says under his breath so as to not enrage others on the team. He then grabs his gear and catches up to Kyra.

"Do we go to market to further investigate? Something is always happening at the market... like them stealing me blind on goods and services...Or do we go somewhere else?" Valeros asks as he plays around with his dagger.

Valeros follows along with the others and lets the book folk lead the investigation. "Hey Kyra... nice to see you again." He tells her during the travels.

During the looking around Valeros injects "Should we ask around to see if anyone else knows anything."

"So i take it we have to go somewhere, meet with someone and do something? Is that about the gist of it? Just so I can catch up on everything." the human warrior says as he looks around the room for a pitcher of wine to fill his goblet.

I have no clue what Anri just stated. Willing to help in any way I can.

I have been looking at Archives of Nethys, don't know what CRB is. Just trying to figure out whats changed, what hasn't and how to write up my attack roll formulas for PBP. Oh and I am not that smart.

A boisterous human male walks in, slaps the elf wizard on the shoulder and tells him "Out rookie. This here mission is too important for the likes of you to mess it up." The war-prepped human shoves the elf out of the room and then announces to the others "Seems I got lost in a tavern for a bit. I am here and I am Valeros. We may properly begin." He then eyes up the others in attendance.

apologies for the confusion. I thought the Quest was like the 1E quests and all entry level. I shall be playing the lvl 5 Valeros. New to 2e so any tips won't be refused. Also where did initiative go?
