The ghost barely notices Sigurd, whose fear shakes his blade. Vekka's blazing slash carves it right across it back, badly damaging it.
Auntie Wu's positive burst further incinerates. Ectoplasm discorporates. She fully heals Lan and inures him from further harm. It screams the bloody murder of self-pity!
With envious rage, the thing descends upon Lan, who also, it seems, has become somewhat of an eligible bachelor himself! it flies foolishly into the middle of the pack, and savages the handsome, if cowardly, sorcerer. The sight is terrifying to behold - but Lan steels with uncharacteristic bravery!

Mo Douche sees Sigurd point right at him. So he ducks. Maybe they will attack above where he ducks from. "I'll show them! Myeah!!" he thinks to himself, swearing vengeance mentally...

Very funny” conceited with his own importance, Mo Douqiu cannot even fathom being a “supporting character” in his own “show” - and much less the comic relief ”You know wha… OWWW!” Sigurd’s slash cuts, as our villainous “hero” reels from Lan’s threat, Gimmy’s pointy distraction, Auntie Wu’s failed flames, and the electric blast that jolted his nerves. He is starting to look worse for wear…
Mo Douqiu watches expectantly - and already clapping pre-emptively! - as Vekka's body should freeze... and instead, it doesn't, as the tengu shrugs off most of the effect...
Furious, he lashes out at him "Not how that's supposed to go! Wrong Show!! RAAAAWWWRRHHHH!!!"

"You mock me, Holy One. Only know that your entire existence is a Farce!" Mo Douqiu begins to lose his cool, his attack thus far easily dodged "The SHOW is what Matters! You think you've won. But the SHOW always wins!" His insults are not even that good...
Mo Douqiu - frosted a bit by Vekka - slugs forward slowly, his long neck recoiling slightly , before suddenly shooting out and stopping right in front of Vekka's face!
Vekka remains totally unflinching! he screams with his foul breath right into the tengu's beak holes "Killed Stingy and Warty!" he flicks his tongue up his prey's nostrils "I can't wait to make you MINE!" spoken in the worst way imaginable... and then bites his face!

"My loyal subjects have all failed me!" he enumerates them "Stingy, Warty, my Jinkin slaves, my Willow slaves..." he laments somewhat "But the Show Goes On!" perhaps he accidentally gave away his position, perhaps on purpose, in any case "The Audience is on the Other Side of the Wall of Ghosts!" he answers Sigurd "YOU are the Villians to be Slain!" "Ah ha HA ha HAA! AH ha HA ha HAA!

There is the vague sound of clapping from the other side of this second floor! "Turnabout!" Mo Douqiu squeals "I do love a good Betrayal. Good Show! Good Show! Don't you see?:" he segues into his monologue wasting no time “Change!" with emphasis "Nothing changes you more than being thrown into the middle of a Horror Story! People love those Terrifying Tales, you know, so why not Live through one?” He breaks into a roaring laugh and further appluase, then asks, “Admit it. Haven’t you been having Fun?!”
"Ha HA! You see? It is ME. ACT THREE! Come up now or else HEE HEE!" Could he be bluffing?
"Ha HA" Mo Douqiu laughs "Looks like Act Two may be wrapping up!" he claps "For Act Three - with ME - there will be no Intermission!" a vague... threat?... "Ha Ha Ha Ha HA HA" maybe he's bluffing?...
"Ha HA!" Mo Douqiu glees from wherever he is hiding "That was FUN!" "Just like all the FUN Mo Douqiu has had recently!" he leaves that hanging in the air, as if he really wants to talk about it...
Just as the party enters, the Toad seems distracted - a human (?) arm falls out of it's mouth, and it takes a moment to re-swallow it. "Intermission Over!" quick, excited claps "Warty, meet your Food. Food, meet Warty!" and "Oh, joy!"
Growing obviously impatient, it implores “This town is the most boring place ever! Everyone’s working day-in, day-out, just to make ends meet. Every single year, doing the same thing over and over again. All that work just to survive. Don’t you want to liven this up too if you see everyone forever mired in the same dreadful routine?” Wondering, perhaps, if they'll bite... "Where is the FUN!?"
”Ha HA!” clearly happy to not only be acknowledged at all, but within the context of it’s ’performance’ frame, the voice calls back ”Yes. Intermission! A fine idea. Okay. You have 10 minutes to get ready!”
”Hmm… I applaud your efforts! Warty! Warty! Proceed with Act Two!” Practically begging for attention, whoever or whatever speaks from the shadow…
”You there!” the voice calls out, perhaps peeved somewhat at being ignored ”Do you have a name? You are the Star of the Show!” more clapping ”Marvelous! Simply marvelous!!” It craves attention, yet remains hidden…
It continues. But from where? "Little Pink Man is Food for Stingy! Is that the sound of... clapping!?
Off to the side, someone or something may be peaking through one of many tears in the fabric of the sliding doors. a rapidfire cachinnation can be heard from the other side. Then he purports to share in his philosophy "Dance! Sing! Fight! Whatever is entertaining! It’s what living is all about, so LIVE!" the strange laughter triggers again "or DIE to Stingy!"
