Pocky dons her cap to appear as a human child.

“…tricks are for kids.”

I would like to grant you two kudos for making the argument that attacks should be considered thrust.

Well, if life were more like a Capcom game, that would work.

P.S.- kicking Apocalypse in the face less than 99 times, as Chun-Li, is inexcusable .

I also love that we seem to have found the super gnoll sentai squad.

Gnolltron!

Human Child

There are two enemies in flying kick range.

1) nearest enlarged gnoll – what’s your ruling on reaching it via flying kick?
No because the tree is in the way?
~OR~
Yes because the trunk is NOT in the way?

2) winged creature ~ what’s your ruling on full attacking it?
Full attack because the monk’s flying kick is part of a full attack?
~OR~
One attack because gravity?
~OR~
Two attacks hits because, as you’re falling, you can attack again from five feet below?
~OR~
Two OR MORE attacks because you can jab-dance five feet UP when an attack hits?

I may not want to do either because the large gnoll is in a crowd and, though I have the sapphire feather fall ring, falling still removes me for some rounds. I just want to know the rulings, if you think my character should know.

Human Child

Not New England......... well, as far as I know. I can’t keep track of all six states.

Human Child

Tim Horton’s? I only know that place from drives to Ontario.

The White Rabbit runs to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to purchase a comfy blanket, fluffy pillow, and a case of wine. (He has a 20% off coupon).

He then books a Flight to...crap! He guess a lot until he lands at DM Delmoth's place. He boldly knocks on the door. He presents the comforting gifts with a rabbit thumb's up!

He even brought some Hot chocolate from Tims!!

Did he hide any colorful eggs?

Human Child

Pocky the Kid just won’t settle for less than 50 stealth. Good thing I rolled perception first this time, or I’d have had a lousy 48 stealth.

Human Child

If someone has rope, Pocky is more than happy to tie the man to the chair.

If that works out, she remains in kid-guise as she checks the doors...

Perc (check for traps): 1d20 + 20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 20 + 3 = 41
Stealth (sneaky-peeky): 1d20 + 27 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 27 + 3 = 50

...and, if all is well, she peeks in as it opens, ready to slip in silently.

Human Child

Pocky checks the doors for traps, and looks at the boxes. She then tells Mara of her odd experience (see spoiler in above GM post) and asks two questions: “Should I make sure the man will not wake? Without killing him, I mean. And either way, shall I explore the nearest rooms?”

Human Child

“—in the form of a curious child,” she adds with a soup-pea’ing grin.

She enters the room quietly—
Stealth, Hero: 1d20 + 27 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 27 + 3 = 50
—very quietly—and looks around…

Perception, Hero: 1d20 + 20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 20 + 3 = 27

Pocky sighs in relief as the enraged thwomping ceases.

She does not move, for fear of endangering the tall clown.

“Poor guy must have souped his drawers,” she says softly.

Human Child

“Oh, animals do not like me,” Pocky warns. “I should, uh… not be in here.”

Pocky exits the room!

I assume she can simply exit the way she came in, with 110 feet being a double move.
But if her path is now obstructed…

☁️:
Pocky will tumble past any person or obstacle…
Tumble: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (16) + 26 = 42

…and if need be, she’ll burn 3 ki to pass through a wall.

Human Child

“Excellent advice. I shall picture a mastodon peeing soup, as per your wordplay. That should result in additional snickers.” Pocky looks in the direction of a mastodon. “Well, that ruined soup for me.”

Human Child

“Well, I don’t know about that,” Pocky replies. “When Sister Jojo worked the spit, the whole convent feasted on the delectable. We had to double our basics next workout to maintain desired fitness levels, oh but it was worth it. As for soup…”

Pocky stops to think. If she was sipping milk, there’s a chance it would come out her nose. Thankfully, a burst of snickers subsides without incident.

“Oh, that is rather humorous. I almost laughed so hard I’d have broken a vow. Ah, but it is an age-appropriately funny thing to say, given my appearance. Are you suggesting I tell it to the vendor at the food stall?” Pocky is about to point, which is impolite, but then she considers that she was always polite as a child. Playing a part must have some truth to it, she decides. She does find Allegra’s joke refreshingly amusing. The joke practically delivers itself, she tries convincing herself.

She appears to have more to say (unless she’s attempting to act, making a kid-with-something-else-to-say-face), but as she has just asked Allegra a question, she gives the Paladin an opportunity to respond.

Human Child

Once inside the tent, Pocky dons the guise of a child. “Thank you, Mr. Dick,” she says in a tone that seems naturally-childlike for someone who spent her entire childhood as a slave and her teens and twenties training under nuns.

Which is to say, she speaks politely, but her guided face lacks a child’s wonderment. The White Rabbit might be a more believable child than the reserved nun.

Human Child

Pocky whispers a barely-audible command word mid-sentence. She seems a little taller, a little younger. Her habit stretches to accommodate her new face, and new height, as a full-grown halfling is considerably shorter than…

“…a human child?”

Common and Varisian are free.

I still need 2...lol.

You could have had 11 ranks and got them all. Or are you holding out so ABP gets you to INT +10?

EDIT - Wrong avatar. Must’ve triggered my cap o’ human guise.

Human Child

When Ci-Ci approaches the short person in the unmistakable blue habit, the girl turns. She is a human child! Though clearly, she is wearing the same outfit...

…with a couple of new accessories: a cloak that seems to emit a cool mist, and the leggings are new—less like what a ballerina would wear. These have a design that resembles arcs of lightning and swirls of wind. The motif matches the cloak… but that might have been designed for an actual human child who is older and taller. On Pocky, the cloak brushes against the ground.

And it is unmistakably Pocky’s voice. She may look like a child but…

“You resemble a sun goddess, Ms. Barchetta. I mean no offense to the Dawnflower, of course. You have excellent tastes. Perhaps I should consult you next time I become so frivolous with my earnings.”

…apparently nuns don’t take acting lessons.
